The woman running the front of the shop was very sweet and warm, with a genuine smile. She also repeated our orders back to us as we said them, which I really appreciate. The donuts and pigs-in-blankets were also very good. We went around 8AM and there was still a good selection of items.
Make sure you have small bills when you come, cause the guy gave a unwarranted rude attitude asking if I was paying card or cash. I told him I have cash, and when I gave him a $20 bill, he gave me a look of disgust and ask if I had anything smaller. I should've told him you want the business or not. Cause I know paying card for a bill less then $5 isn't good for your small business. Next time I'll go to Starbucks.

I absolutely love coming here!! The donuts and kolaches and blueberry donuts are incredible and I always buy them in bulk for my family! They go through them so quickly! The nicest people run the shop and it makes my day talking to them!
Super friendly husband/wife team. Delicious fresh donuts! My kids love :) We?ve been going occasionally for 13 years?never once have I seen the lady owner be rude nor racist to anyone. However, sadly, I have seen the opposite :(. Prices are comparable to all other donut shops in Plano. I?d rather support a local mama papa shop over the national chains open all day ?that never have fresh stuff or variety available anyway.
The donuts are wonderful, however the staff, I'm assuming they are the owners are absolutely one-hundred-percent the rudest people I have ever come across in any type of business. I will not be back and I will let my friends know. Word of mouth spreads quicker that reviews.
Today I was in the area leaving from a class I was taking nearby and since it was 11 I wanted a few donuts. When I went in the decor was a little outdated, but I was pleasantly welcomed by the friendly owner. At first I was a bit worried with the outdated decor, but once I took a bite I was pleasantly surprised with one of the best donuts I have ever had! The price is not bad either, I was expecting to pay much more than I did for 2 glazed donuts. If you are ever in need of donuts, I highly recommend going

Some of the best donuts in the area. The owners are such wonderful people and so kind. We don't go anywhere else and have even agreed we will drive back to this shop if we move further away than we are now.
This wonderful local shop makes very good donuts. The place is clean and many people in our neighborhood love this place. Look for them on the back of the stop shopping center. They are located in the shopping center behind their old location because the city of Richardson bought the corner for building a new fire station. I hope they can stay in business despite the invisible location on the back side of the shopping center. This strip center is full of throwing retail stores.
I've been getting my donuts here for 10 years. They have got their dough P E R F E C T and the lady who works the front is the absolute sweetest person ever! Always a 5 star experience here & I will continue only buying my donuts here as long as I possibly can. ?
My family loves this place! We live in Missouri but have family that live very near Bunki's.... Growing up, we always looked forward to our trips to Texas to see family and eat Bunki's EVERY morning! These donuts have even been special delivered to family waiting back in MO. So many delicious memories that I now get to share with my kids when we visit. My father is always recognized when he comes in, even if it's just once a year, Kim always knows it's Fred! Looking so forward to our visit to Bunki's tomorr
Great local donut and kolache place. I can eat my weight in their jalapeno sausage kolaches. The classic glazed donuts are soft and fluffy, but don't miss out on the cake donuts too... Bunkie's are a normal dense cake donut but pillowy soft too. I don't normally care for cake donuts except for the ones Bunkie's makes. They're in the strip center and almost directly hidden behind the 7-11 in the parking lot. The owners a super nice. Highly recommend!
I genuinely love the lady here. She's so kind and lovely. She makes my morning brighter. Her pastries are delicious. Sometimes, she gives me extra donut holes and send me off with caring messages like "you need to eat more..." "take care of yourself"...?
This place has literally watched me grow up to adulthood! I've never had a bad experience here! Prices are worth the good donuts and friendly atmosphere. I won't go anywhere else for donuts if I get a craving!
Asked if there was chunks of apple in the apple fritter and lady assured me there was. I bought then ate over half and no apple. I went back and told her and she just shrugged her shoulders with fake smile and said oh well. Didn't offer me anything and told her I wont be coming back. Ate a few more bites and threw the rest away realizing it was just a dry donut with icing on top and therefore not worth the extra calories or expense

Great Donuts. The lady is very nice and polite but lately whenever I visit the guy in the front is very rude and it seems that he is doing you a favor by serving you. No hello no thank you. Just an attitude.

I went there to buy a dozen kolache twice, and both times the hot dogs were all burned and didn't taste fresh. The color was dark closers to black colors. I never tried donuts, but won't go back again.
Owners are very kind, always fresh yummy donuts! The chocolate muffin warmed up is a personal favorite!

My very first and last visit. I was over charged and I was not provided with a receipt. I called and spoke to someone about the over charges and I was spoken to rudely and hung up on. I will contact my bank to dispute these charges. I didn?t receive the same friendly treatment as the patrons ahead of me. THIS ESTABLISHMENT IS NOT FOR PEOPLE OF COLOR!
We love hitting Bunkies for kolaches and dinuts on Sunday motning after mass. The food is wonderful and the service can't be beat! Very friendly and clean!
Best donuts around if you have not tried them you're missing out. They are better than Krispy kreme and any other small donut shop around
