Picked this shop as it was recommended as the best apple fritter in Columbus. So as an apple fritter lover I had high hopes. For me this is not a great apple fritter. I look for a nice crispy outside, soft chewy inside with the obvious chunks of apples. This one had the crispy outside but the inside felt a little dry and lacked any apple chucks. Had they had apple chunks inside It probably would have helped with multitude and been perfect. But as it was it felt like it was at least a half day old and not

These folks did an outstanding job for a large order I placed for an extended family member staying in a nursing facility Christmas 2024. I have been going here for years for their delicious donuts. They make other food as well that I have never had, but I have heard from others that it?s pretty tasty. Stopped in for a few buckeye donuts. They were good, probably can be better when they come out fresh. We sat out a brief rain shower where we talked and visited our daughter and a friend we had not seen in a while.

I went here after seeing reviews on a travel site and stopped on the way through the area. We grabbed a few to try once we go home and were not impressed sadly. I thought the Buckeye donut would be the best but it didn?t. Even the cream filled didn?t grab our tastebuds. Maybe we have Covid and our taste is off? There was a short line on a Sunday morning. Mostly students. Is it really that good, mmm I don't know. I mean their yeast donut is soft with right about of sugar. The go-to breakfast place for Ohio State students. The authentic experience from the onset of the eatery has been retained very well. The range of donuts available spans all tastes and fancies. This place is a favorite of mine and have been going for years. Right across from campus makes the perfect grab before heading to class. I personally love coming here after drinks and enjoy the warm setting. It's small but cozy. Homemade donuts that put a smile on your face. If your feeling really good they serve gyros as well.

Came to Columbus for my daughter's birthday stopped in an gas station and the attendant highly recommend Buckeye and I am so glad we stopped. My daughter and niece received free donuts for their birthdays which was a great surprise. Now let's talk about the donuts. When I attended OSU, I ate BuckeyeDonuts on a weekly basis. Every flavor is amazing! My husband and I recently served them at our wedding and they were a huge hit! My family has been asking us to bring some every time we come to visit now!

Of the donuts I have tried, they have all been great! The only thing, I went there 8/7/2024 around 3:30? and they said they were closed. Doors were unlocked and they asked if I had a mobile order.
