A very nice little bubble tea shop on Centre Ave. The atmosphere is quite good and the company?s entire branding just has a feel good feel to it. They also have a shop in Ross Park Mall. I tried out their classic brown sugar milk tea as well as a milk chocolate mocha donut. To be honest, the brown sugar boba was pretty average. There wasn?t anything too special about it. Nice and light drink, not crazy sweet, which was nice. Not much boba in it though. Price was okay. They had a donut and drink combo for a
This location is between Bloomfield and Shadyside, so the fact that it has a dedicated parking lot was a win in my book! That was the first plus I noticed, and it only got better from there. The Brown Sugar Oreo Boba Milk Tea, one of Bubble Bee's specials, is not too sweet but definitely satisfies that sweet tooth craving. The double chocolate mochi donut was . I went around 11 AM and it tasted fresh. In addition to the clutch parking + treats, the staff answered my questions and I got to look at the cute
The Tie Guan Yin Pearl Milk Tea is delicious one of the best milk tea options I?ve had in Pittsburgh. If you like oolong milk tea that has a DEFINED tea flavor not overwhelmed by the milk, I definitely recommend it! They actually give light ice if you request it as well. Pricing is definitely on the higher end once you include a topping ($6.26 total for my Medium drink), but I?ll still be back to try some other drinks.
I stopped by, I?ve been keeping my eye on the place. It?s a cute little shop, they have mochi donuts which I?m excited about. I didn?t get any on my first visit but I did get the pina colada milk tea which was delicious, I was just too sweet for me. Now I know to ask for less sugar. I definitely have to come back.
Got the donut and bubble tea option and I picked the passion fruit popping boba. Good option for people who like fruity and less sugary drink. I liked the matcha mochi donut as well!
love this place. Kind clerk and quiet space. Taiwan oolong milk tea here is great.
What a joke. Bubble tea with no bubbles. Ordered roast and toast pearl milk tea via DoorDash. NO BUBBLES . When I called she said is was early and they weren?t ready. But don?t worry, you weren?t charged for them. And, we also have other thing like jellies that you can put in. what? NO call, no message, nothing but a bubble tea without bubbles. WHY? Go to a bubble tea joint where you get what you order, that?s not here. And then the reply: you didn?t order tapioca pearls?? It?s an r&t PEARL milk tea! Wh
came in for a good boba drink and some donuts. left with great donuts and a drink that tasted like it had commitment issues. somehow, after all the places that have nearly put me into a sugar coma, this one decided to go the complete opposite route?barely any sweetness, barely any flavor, just a sad, watery excuse for boba. maybe they?re trying to balance out the competition. who knows?
FREE Parking in the back! Enter through 998 S Millvale ave. Delicious tea as expected. I get the classic pearl milk tea with less sugar and no ice. It's perfect.
Confection shopping for a special event. Stopped here? strawberry doughnut bite was greasy af so they definitely need me to work on oil temperature; and while they?re at it, t work on customer service. Xiaojing was unfriendly and unwelcoming, which is very unfortunate in today?s culture. Know and do better.
The photo of the strawberry cheesecake bubble tea and what I got were too different things. It didn't have layers of strawberry puree on the bottom and no cheese cap on top. Just one homogenous mix that tastes like straight sugar. I don't need to come back here
I ordered Taro pearl milk tea, and assumed it already came with pearls, so I didnt select the pearl topping that costs an extra $0.9. Turns out, my drink has no pearls at all. So the Taro pearl milk tea does not come with pearls?!
The drinks are too low-quality to justify the price, sadly. This large taro milk tea cost ($5.75). Adding boba cost ($0.75) for about 1/4 cup of tapioca. The boba was hard as well :( the taro flavor is okay, if a little watery.
ordered the mochi donut online, and it legit is so stale and hard, feels like im biting into a rock
it was nice little shop has lots of drink options, dark chocolate mochi donuts is also really good.
If you?re looking for a great place to grab a bite to eat, Bubble Bee Food & Tea Shadyside is definitely worth checking out! The restaurant is located at 4815 Centre Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15213 and has a cozy and welcoming atmosphere that?s perfect for a casual hangout with friends or family. The menu is extensive and offers a wide variety of options, including bubble tea, coffee and tea, juice and smoothies, Asian fusion, desserts, and drinks. I highly recommend trying out their monthly special 22oz Pear
Excellent place! We came here for bubble tea and mochi donuts. Everything was delicious and great service!
I ordered a combination of taro pearl bubble milk tea and a donut (self ordered). Upon drinking first few sips from the bubble tea, I realized there are no pearls in it. Apparently they were out of tapioca pearls and were in the process of making it. I think they should have informed it first or at least display that it?s out of stock at the self order counter!! The tea was okay but overall a DISAPPOINTING experience as I was really looking forward to having bubble tea.
In my opinion the best tea around. Well priced and their bubbles are great quality.
Mochi donuts are not made properly icing is too sticky and it?s not supposed to be (i am in new York and Boston all the time and if you had them there you will know these are terrible) the bubble tea flavors are not good there are so many more places around to go to instead. And worst part of all they always miss the toppings I PAYED for when ordering online ??????? won?t be returning again i gave them too many chances and wasted my money
So cute, the mochi donuts are really yummy! They are very sweet so they are perfect for sharing. We tried matcha, oreo, and taro. The bubble tea was fresh and delicious. I love that they offer non-dairy options and decaf options as well.
Was expecting a similar quality as the Bubble Bee in Ross Park, but was severely disappointed. Boba was undercooked and the choices were underwhelming. The boba was 2 stars, but I'm giving it 1 star because they could have been the best boba in the neighborhood, yet committed to mediocrity. Probably because they thought it was more profitable. If you want better boba, just walk 5 minutes down Centre to Yotea. It's not the best, but it's way better than the sorry excuse of a boba shop that just opened.
Was fun to try the popping boba. Had to search around for the right straw. The fat straws are next to the register. They were out of what I wanted. Loved the mochi donuts.
I have only ever ordered delivery from here but the donuts and bubble tea are absolutely delicious. The prices are a little expensive considering what you get but the donuts are very good.
I ordered vegetable tempura bento. I am very allergic to shellfish. No where in the description does it say it has 3 HUGE TEMPURA SHRIMP IN IT contaminating my entire meal. All of it. When I called the owner gave a half harted apology. I contacted uber eats. If you have seafood allergies font go here they obviously can't have a single vegetarian meal with out it having shellfish in it.
Undercooked boba was disappointing, the boba to tea ratio is pretty low, the tea was good..
Love the bubble tea! And the desserts here!
I got the taro pearl milk tea, it rocked! Service was good, clean space, lots of options. Will be back!
The owner was so nice and the donuts are absolutely amazing! This is the only place in Pittsburgh that has mochi donuts.
10/10 the donuts are amazing. Super friendly staff and overall one of the greatest places on planet earth
I got 2 pearl milk tea served without pearl
Mochi donuts are soooo good, especially Matcha flavor!!!!
Slightly expensive bubble tea, but has variety of options to choose from. Great taste!
Great creative boba selections and tasty food options. A step up from the usual boba places around here.
I had a coconut milk tea it was so yummy.
Good drinks and donuts!
The strawberry cheesecake is really good!
Boba drinks are tasty!
Great drinks. Friendly staff
