this was a great place to take the kids for our annual Halloween touristy spot. Lots of variety in the activities so it was fun for the oldest adults and the youngest kids. We met my FIL here, each driving about an hour and a half from opposite directions, so it was a perfect place to meet up with grandpa. They were obviously very involved in and ingrained in the community & had great treats to take home. We also took a few bags of apples and they were soooo good! We did lose our cell phone in the ha
We go on an annual trip here every year. I love that they continue to add new things. They upgrade and take take care their property. I believe this is our 11th year going and have loved to watch it grow and develop. Definitely check out the bakery. Side note. They don't do the hamburgers anymore. Give the apple butter a try as well!!
Edit: some new kids stuff, 3 zip lines now. No rabbits or cows. Still a good time you can spend all day there. Great family place. Don't forget to visit the bakery. Still have sanitizing stations and just clean overall. Oh new Haunted house coming 2025. Interested to see. You can spend hours there. Even with the virus things are still running smoothly, more hand sanitizer stations available
Such a fun time with the family! It's affordable and a good time for all there's live goats apple picking pumpkins and a hay ride all included. There's also a bakery food and a gift shop on site.
What a wonderful business to have locally! They always supply fresh donuts at a good price with quick service. Their Orchard is a great seasonal family activity too.
One of our favorite places to visit during the fall. So much to do for everyone in the family included in the admission price. It's worth the drive for us! The bakery is so delicious and the wonderful staff make this a true fall treasure to experience.
We had a great time here. So much to do in October. Many friendly employees. Very kid friendly. If you're looking for a day out, you can enjoy a day here. We celebrated my birthday here. With a fresh donut made on the farm.
We had a blast! Highly recommend for a family day! You almost need to plan to spend the whole day there, especially if you have little ones. There is so much to do and we loved how the areas are spread out just enough that you get to enjoy some beautiful walks to your next destination. The staff was friendly and very efficient! We weren't able to stand in line and wait for the donuts (which smelled AMAZING,) although we would have but had a tired toddler. The good news-the market and bakery are open through
Wonderful field trip experience here with our school. Plenty of things to do and the staff was super knowledgeable about what is grown on the farm. Yummy treats both inside the bakery and in the main store. We will definitely be going back next season!
After seeing on Ohio road trip,we stopped in. Great bakery, good selection and delicious. On the market side ,apples ,tomatoes, salsa, jellies ,honey, soaps, cider(delicious). Was decorated for halloween.friendly people.
Great price for the amount of activities they have available! Great place to bring the family and have some fall fun! We make sure to take a trip here every year!
My daughter and I visited the Fruit Farm with her school. It is a 45-minute drive from us, but it was worth it. My only complaint is all the bees. They have Port-a-potties, I used one, and I thought it smelled like apples when I first went in. That was different. They have an education on bees. They hay ride was short but cute. There are at least 3 areas for kids to play and have a ball. The bakery was the only extra I was able to do with the time constraint. The best peanut brittle. The best doughnuts, jus
Great family time Wonderful apples! Apple cider slushies are the Best!! And the bakery no words can describe how great the pies are!!
We had so much fun here. The cost is low and there's lots to do with kids. My daughter really enjoyed the short corn maze, the zip line, and all the other activities. And the donuts are awesome too.
Excellent sugar cookies and cream horns .Waiting for there vegetables in June. Pleasant people and store.very clean
Absolutely love this place, great for families with kids!! My son really enjoyed it!
There is so much to do with the children outside. The employees are very friendly. The country store has all sorts of goodies and the best apples for sale. There is a bakery on premises that has the best apple fritters and baked goods.
Excellent place to bring your family for an Autumn adventure. Great little shop for all of your fall goodies. They also have a bakery to get fresh baked goods.
Was driving through the area and stopped for apples. The bakery was amazing. Too hard to decide what to get. Nice facility. Looked like a great place to take kids.
Lots of outdoor fun for the kids.
This place is amazing! We always check out a few different farms each fall and this one is at the top of the list! So many fun things for kids to do. We truly could have spent hours here. Just FYI when the farm is open on the weekend they do have food you can buy- walking tacos, burgers, hot dogs, etc plus the baked goods in the bakery. Such a nice place and a great value for the money. Pumpkins are also very reasonably priced
So much fun and a great value for the family. We have been many times over the years and we are thoroughly enjoying ourselves today.
We have been going to Brumbaugh Farms for the last 4 years as a family tradition. Our family ranges from teens to toddlers and everybody can find something to do that they enjoy. From the hayrides to the ziplines, this place has it all. The on-site bakery is fantastic. The apple cider is second to none and the store has all manner of wonderful treats. 10/10 would recommend every year to everyone.
The apple cider is the best I've ever had. It was so nice having a bonfire and a hayride. It's not too big so very cozy for a group. The facility is very accommodating. Such a nice experience. Recommend for novice campers and families with kids of all ages
The peaches they just picked were the best I ever ate. I was on a quick visit from Indy. I will make sure to get 2 bags when I get back over there
Amazing family owned and operated farm and bakery. I've been coming to Brumbaugh's since I was little, and everytime I come to Arcanum, I have to stop in for sweet treats. Update: I'm back in town, and had stop in again. The staff and pastries are always amazing.
In my opinion, they have the best fresh donuts The kiddos love the farm part. Schools bring kids up to have fun on the farm! It's just a really cool place all around!
A very well organized school field trip, with education about the importance of bees and sorting of the apples. There was a lot for the children to do during their lunch time and while they waited, to go on a hay ride.
So much to do here! So many fall activities for the kids. Pick a time to go during the week. October weekends are always really busy. It?s only $10 per adult, young kids are free. They have a shop to buy slushees and stuff, and a bakery with the best baked goods!
My kids (ages 5&3) had an absolute blast! Lots of fun things for littles to do! We must have gone at a weird time though because the bakery barely had anything and had a lot of bees. It smelled great though!
great bakery and apple cider (I'm sure other things are as well) Update; everything I have had at the bakery has been terrific. The Apple fritters are delicious, I highly recommend them, and for those of us who love cream filled donuts with ample filling, these are among the best I have had. Yum! Be aware during some seasons you are competing with local bees and wasps for the sweet goodness, but they didn't bother/attack/sting anyone. That sounds worse than it is. Just try it out, gives extra reasons to go
The apples are good. The cider is delicious. The bakery is small but everything I have purchased there has been great. Prices are very reasonable.
We look forward to coming here every year! I've been coming since I was a kid and now we bring our kids here! Love that every year there is something new for the kids to do and explore! The people are friendly and accommodating and make this place a great place for kids and families to enjoy! PS. Next year my daughter thinks you should add the Little Mermaid and Cinderella in The Storybook Forest!
Lovely place with a lovely atmosphere. They're cider is delicious and fairly priced. Their baked goods are to die for. They have great facilities for kids and it always makes for a fun day trip on the cheap.
When talking about fun fall things to do this year this place just didn?t make the list. Our kids are 8 and 10 and there just isn?t much for them to do. We went with 3 families and all felt like the place was run down and not worth for $40 to get in. The bike area had mostly all broken bikes. Only one zip line this year was working and it was for the smaller kids . Pumpkins were expensive and the staff wasn?t very friendly. The bakery is yummy.
We come here every year zkids have a blast we take our fall pictures here ever year. They have amazing pumpkin cookies, apple dumpling so good.
Oh my goodness their bakery is amazing!!!!! Staff members are awesome.....its a really nice place to visit
All of the children's activities are a blast. It's good exercise getting around and the kids had a really good time. The gift shop is a bit underwhelming with a small selection but the cider is excellent.
Best donuts around...esp apple fritters. Beware of lots of bees in bakery...even inside the donut case and on the donuts. Lady working said they're aggressive bees and if they land on you, they will sting you. So if you're allergic to bees--Don't go in the bakery! Nice market set up but didn't like the quality of the apples they had already bagged so went to a display and bagged my own. Seemed like the apples had blemishes. Nice variety though but no granny smith..must've been too late.
Such an awesome place! So much for the kiddos to do. Playgrounds around ever corner. Tons of animals. Tractor and hay rides. Huge slides. An darling enchanted forest. And the donuts are phenomenal! Easy to spend three or four hours here! Don?t miss out!
I always love the locale when visiting. Everyone is entirely too nice and it is quite contagious. If you visit here, you are either having a wonderful day or will have one shortly after. The Farmers Daughters Bakery is a must. The Strawberry Pie is a personal favorite. A must visit when the Autumnal equinox is in full swing due to the many activities and decor for your needs. The produce is top notch. One can almost taste the nurturing love given to the land which it resides.
Always a pleasure bringing our boys here to hunt for pumpkins and get apple cider. It?s the perfect place with lots to do for younger kids!
Do you get the chance, I definitely suggest coming by. Lots of things to do. The kids loved it. Yes, there's a few bees. But with fruit there always will be. Apples everywhere, the dumplings were phenomenal. Cider was on point. If you want some pumpkins, because it is the season, there's plenty of those. The corn maze has trivia questions to get through. Only missed one. It's fun. Hay rides that go round and round. The people are very nice to you. Did I mention the apple cider? Lol is really good. Even have
The orchard/activity part was great. Kids had fun and plenty to do. The low rating is because of the bakery. Ordered a dozen fritters ($10), single serving of pumpkin roll ($3) and 6 pumpkin cookies (.75 ea = $4.50). Total should have been 17.50. Was charged 17.95. (We were paying cash so no additional fee). Asked about the difference and was told chalk board isn't right. It's a CHALK board. Change it! To add our box only had 5 cookies in it! The fritters are good, but not worth the hour + wait in line.
This is one of our greatest hit and treasures in Darke County Ohio! In the fall they're open later hours and have a really cool horse that kids can go through. They also have where you can pick-your-own pumpkins right out of the patch:-) they make the best apple fritters oh, the bakery is open 6 a.m. every morning Monday through Saturday. They also have a drive-thru. If you're passing through this is a must have not to mention they make the best apple cider hands-down I've ever drank.
Very good donuts at a great price
Great family fun ten dollars a person under 4 and over 64 are free. Lots of walking limited place to sit. I fed five with cheese burgers and hotdogs chips and a drink 25 bucks. I didn't see anyone looking board or not having fun The only time seen a phone out was to take picture plenty of photo ops, you could go for a couple of hours or stay all day our kids all fell asleep on the ride home
Bought a bag of Honey Crisp apples for eating, looking forward to that crisp, juicy fresh pick. Spent 20$ on that and a gal of cider. Top Apple in bag was heaven, as expected. All the rest, pithy and seemingly old. How does that happen? Can?t help feeling cheated. I just bought some at Kroger, ten times better, way less $. Won?t be back, much as I love to support locals.
Took two of my teenagers and my young niece, and relived our memories from when the kids were little. We have always loved this place. Loads of fun, mostly for younger kids.
We go here year after year, first with my daughter, but now with my grandson. So much fun, good food, we especially love the bakery and the apple cider slushes....yummy ????
Great fun for the whole family! Corn maze in September/October, fun swings, goat run, hay rides, delicious fresh treats, pumpkins. Highly recommended in the fall!
Great place to bring the kids. They have a lot of activities for children to do. Their bakery has amazing apple fritters! Highly recommend bringing the family out for a little fun
Great prices! Amazing bakery?? my kiddo LOVED it and we do to! Must have apple cider and donuts. Take home a jar of apple butter too!
Lovely place to spend the day, get some fresh fruit and bonfire.
Great way to spend an afternoon with your kids. So many different attractions all spread out. Good to be outside and see so many people enjoying the farm.
Nearly everything is still open and available. Everyone was having funand enjoying the crisp fall air. The hayrides were still going strong and the bakery is a temptation most can't turn away. Yum!
I've being taking the kids here for years now. The kids love feeding the animals and the zip line. They have an amazing bakery that the whole family enjoys.
Pricey and refused to take their own coupon, stated it was last year's because it was a different color but they do not put expiration dates on them. Have picture of horse drawn hayride but they are tractor drawn. We have gone for several years and will be looking for a new one next year.
We went on a Friday. It was cheaper that day because a couple things weren't open. But we really enjoyed ourselves. Definitely try the doughnuts from the bakery..
Such a fun place for the family! Plenty to do and they have a fabulous bakery and gift shop where they sell baked goods and fresh apples and delicious local honey.
I love this place so much during the fall. I wish they would do something all year long on weekends. I love take my two year old to see the animals and play while I drink coffee and eat donuts.
Wasn't much there. A couple Bags of apples and a little bit of popcorn. Not much to choose from. The bakery was open which was ok but again not much to choose from. Only 2 fruit pies and a couple muffins and turnovers. Would be better with some actual fruit since it is a fruit farm, rather than just apples.
They have AWESOME donuts ?????? an good apple dumplins ??????, everytime my husband an i go on a trip we,ll stop at brumbaughs an pick up donuts :) the girls in there are really nice too
Great place, your kids will love !
We went today with our 5 year old. Haven't been here in years and it's not how I remembered it at all. Workers weren't friendly, except for the man that drove the tractor on the hayride. They seemed annoyed when I asked them questions. Considering all of the activities are for kids, I find paying $8 per adult is ridiculous. They don't really participate and you have to pay for your pumpkin? I'd rather go to young's where I get everything AND pick out a pumpkin. Drove 50 minutes, but will not be coming back.
Very busy, lots for kids to do. The only disappointment was wanted a plain donut to go with my cider. Settled for a apple dumpling delicious.
We love brumbaugh! Bakery and store have friendly staff and yummy treats! Farm is fun and full of cute animals.
Great place to go with kids. Lots of activities and food. Every time we have went it's been in the fall. They have hayrides and corn mazes.
I enjoyed the apple dumplings and fritters. They also have the best apple cider, but my trip today was both delicious and delightful.
Local Apple and fruit farm with a bakery... Did I mention a delicious home baked bakery? Go!!!! A must. September/october they host a corn maze and fun times for a small price.
This is a great time for little ones but it's hard to believe they can't afford to offer at least one actual bathroom. Toddlers & porta potties are NOT a good combo.
Great place!! Amazing people and food! Very clean! Fun for kids of all ages! Employees are very helpful!
Excellent location to purchase seasonal fruit, cider, baked goods, and other seasonal merchandise. Friendly and knowledgeable staff are helpful. Great location to see a working fruit farm.
Love brumbaughs..they have an amazing bakery. Picked up a pie for Thanksgiving. Gotta make sure I set my scales back 10 lbs before Thanksgiving dinner.
Very fun and time consuming great for the little ones to run around. One issue with the zip line is that it?s kinda wobbly like it shakes very scary.corn mazes are great good for age groups.the bakery had so many flies inside and looked gross when I walked in and they student have a big variety of doughnuts it was also very hot in the bakery.
So much fun for the littles...The ladies in the store today were so kind and interacted on a one on one level with our pre k grandchildren. Not too many people take the time these days and it did not go unnoticed ??
Our favorite part is the bakery, especially the apple fritters. Good activities for kids. A great way to spend the afternoon
They have always gone above and beyond what I expected to fill a request and get everything just the way I like it even when it means adding a little something to the pastries already in the display case.
I could eat these donuts every daggone day of the week! I?m glad I do not live closer! ?? My waist would be bustin!
Had my daughter's were here, beautiful place. The owners were very helpful and cost was reasonable. Made my daughter's day very special!!! Highly recommend
Great place very good donuts
Brumbaugh's is great for family fun on a fall weekend. There's something for everyone to enjoy.
Best donuts ever!! The tiny pies they have are so cute and tastey. Friendly people and a fun time.
Great family place to spend a day at. Lots of fun activities. Their bakery is the best
Great place to visit and buy stuff. The bakery has delicious yummy baked goods. Only thing i take points off is theyre not open all the time
This is an excellent place to shop for bakery, peaches, and several other things. The fruit I got were peaches and they were wonderful and the corn was great.
Fun family outing. Lots for young children to do. Adults will enjoy strolling through the orchard & sampling the various apples.
