Brothers Brew is a local favorite with a homey atmosphere and the only place that was open in the historic district on a Tuesday for lunch on this day in November. They have a nice selection of offerings, some very creative. You order at the nostalgic counter and later, your name is called and your plates are delivered to your seats. The donuts are amazing and all home made. The shop itself is a homey place where groups of people hang out and talk. I could not find a plug for my laptop and ultimately figured that I'd give up and enjoy the place for what it is: a great, local caf? with awesome donuts and a hardworking staff.

We had coffee, breakfast, and dinner at Brothers (and Brackett's) and could not have been happier with each experience. The staff is so incredibly welcoming, the food was delicious, and if you are going somewhere else for doughnuts in the morning, you are doing it wrong. Do yourself a favor and try at least breakfast or dinner at Brothers!

The breakfast sandwiches we had were very delicious and worth every penny. Not sure if they make the bagels themselves but they tasted very fresh and unlike store bought. The iced coffee I ordered was not good. It tasted old and funky. It had a weird film on it. I bet their espresso drinks would have been much better. Go with that choice if you want coffee there.

Such a pleasant, relaxed environment with the hustle and bustle of a place that clearly offers great service and even better food. We're not from around here and we stopped in for breakfast... the employees were so sweet and the food was perfect. We asked for coffee with cream and sugar and the employee made it for us and it came out perfect. The donuts were so fluffy and delicious too!

What a fantastic place. The food, servers and service were all as good as you can get. The macciato was made in Italian size and was absolutely brilliant. The place extremely busy but not frenetic and one can see why it is so popular. Wide range of bagels, doughnuts and pastries.

One of the best coffee shops in the area with locally owned and operated. Offers great drinks for a variety of coffee and pastries that are very good. Fresh and quick and know how to move a line during peak hours. Breakfast sandwiches are excellent as well. Definitely worth a stop in!

Scienic view and delicious and well served food. The area is devided into a cafe and a restaurant. Many different size tables by the windows. Good for table games, big companies and family dinners. Just perfectly air-conditioned and not making you freeze as in many other restaurants across the USA in summer.

First time to Rockport & Brothers Brew was the perfect place to start my day with a delicious latte, breakfast sandwich, ordered a couple donuts for later (since they make them fresh daily) I wish I was staying longer. Small & quaint. Coffee was very nice. Service friendly. I didn?t order food but my husband ordered an egg sandwich & said it was excellent.

We were recommended to go here by the locals because it's the best cafe in town and everything is homemade. She told us to hurry though because they have strange hours. We were bummed to find that when we arrived at just before 11:50 they had already locked up even though they close at 12. Edit: In response to the owner, we walked up where there were two teenagers behind a bar and tried to open the door and they waved us away saying it was closed. The sign on the door also said you closed at noon.

They have the best donuts in the area and some of the best ever! They?re super classic and don?t need crazy toppings, the donuts just speak for themselves. Pretty reasonably priced to as a half dozen is $12 which is pretty close to dunkin for a donut 10x better. I also really enjoyed the sandwiches, even though it?s mostly premade stuff, they taste really fresh!

We started our day in Rockport here to grab breakfast sandwiches before heading to Front Beach for the day. I had a bacon egg and cheese on a croissant. It was good. The only thing I noticed is that they use a microwave to prepare all their sandwiches. They have tons of fresh baked goods. The line is long, but moves fairly quickly. If I were to come back I would grab a muffin or baked good and be out the door. Service was good!

My husband and I went in around 9AM on a Monday and they were packed. The coffee shop is attached to a restaurant and is pretty small but clearly a town favorite as the girls behind the counter knew almost everyone by name. If you?ve never been there before, it?s a little hard to see all your options when there?s a large crowd in the shop but we managed to snag a seat at the counter and ordered two breakfast sandwiches and donuts. Employees will talk about you behind your back, owner denies it but is rarely present at their own business. Food and coffee are ok but expensive. Locals get served first so if you aren?t a local expect holier than thou service with an attitude.

The donuts and pastry are actually very good. I stay away from the sandwiches because they microwave everything which as a nj native I find appalling but that seems to be the standard way in mass. Amazing coffee and breakfast spot! The pastries are to die for and their special house coffee brews are one of a kind. Service was super fast despite the line being about 30 people deep. We spent maybe 10 minutes in line and food was ready within 10 minutes of ordering. Highly recommend!

First time there ever and was not disappointed. A tourist walking past me in Rockport started raving about the donuts there. So we were curious and went to try a donut. Chocolate glazed. So delicious and fresh. Baked daily there. Go get a donut! You won't regret it.

For years I used to walk past this place and not give it a second glance. Last year I discovered their DELICIOUS homemade donuts, and the exciting Dark Sin coffee blend (hint of cinnamon and cocoa). Recently I tried a reuben sandwich and thoroughly enjoyed it. This is a great place to grab a treat, or sit in the back room at one of the large tables to get some work done, or have a family hang out. I love it!

Odd, not entirely pleasant experience. Walked in to find one customer group in front of us and two staff. One staff member was attending to the group in front the other was busying behind the counter. After a few minutes 3 women came in after us and were welcomed by the ?busy? staff member. We come here about 3 times a week. The coffee (iced & hot) is delicious. I have never been a doughnut fan but omg their doughnuts are the best we have ever had. They are friendly, fast and I enjoy my visit every time. They are a wonderful staple in our little town.

I was pleasantly surprised when my wife and I came here Oct 23rd I was expecting "hole in the wall" experience but what I got was a wonderfully friendly atmosphere with a wonderful neighborly feel. The food was excellent and we had an actual conversation (socially distant of course) with another customer. Great food, great service. Will be back.

Excellent coffee. Wonderful pastries. I would give it five stars if the young ladies that work there would pay more attention to serving the customers waiting in line rather than visiting with their friends at the counter. One girl this morning even served her friend in line BEHIND us before she took our order. It used to be that you barely had time figure out what you wanted because the service was so good and so quick. Very disappointed.

Such a quaint welcoming place. They have the best donuts and cinnamon rolls in Rockport. Seriously it's a must go to place if you are in the area. The cinnamon rolls are huge and very fluffy. Everything is homemade ?? Great prices for quality products.

Wonderful bear claw and a selection of different coffees ( dark, meduim, light). All baked good are done fresh in house. Very calm and quite in October. Also is does breakfast, lunch and dinner. Currently under a scaffolding so harder to see, but still nice and quite. My grandmother says it's the best breakfast in town and she is a local!

Went here for the first time yesterday with my husband. The coffee was a cup of hot, strong, deliciousness!!!! The glazed doughnuts were yummy. We came in from out of town to visit Rockport and on the suggestion of a local went to Brothers Brew for breakfast. It was excellent. The iced coffee was good and the glazed cake donut was next level delicious. The service was great and friendly and the atmosphere was charming. Highly recommended.

This place had amazing homemade donuts! The staff was very friendly and even went above and beyond! When I accidently left my purse in the shop, the staff waiting for me after closing to make sure my purse was returned to me before going home. Awesome customer service!

Their iced coffee is delicious, and their breakfast sandwiches are amazing, particularly the chorizo, egg, and cheese, which I got on an everything bagel. Oh, and their donuts are addictive. Get the banana cream. Just do it.

Only place on the waterfront that's open for breakfast. Granted it's only breakfast sandwiches, but they are delicious and fast. The staff are very friendly. Restaurant is very clean, and very busy in the morning.

Our drinks were not drink-able the two times we had tried this place. Yesterday our ice lattes tasted mostly like milk. Today our lattes are filled with coffee grounds. Would not recommend and will not return. I had such high hope for this cute establishment!

This place is an absolute hidden gem. Came here in the winter time, honestly not expecting much but wow was I wrong. The people who work here are ridiculously nice and welcoming. Horrible customer service. At first they apologized for an incident that caused $50 worth of donuts and coffee to wind up on the sidewalk and street in front of the place. Only then to contact later and say they believe it was all our fault and that they accept no responsibility. Definitely not what Rockport expects from it's businesses.

Specialty coffee, "Dark Sin", is delicious hot or iced. The fresh donuts, scones and pastries are out of this world. You can tell that Brothers Brew is the real deal because it is frequented by the locals, not just the tourists to this beautiful, seaside location.

They claim to have the best donuts in Cape Ann... IT?S TRUE. Friendly service, great food, and delicious coffee. Drove 2 hours out of our way to get coffee here.
