My family has been coming to Carolina Beach for 20+ years - and Brit's is one of the spots we prioritize coming to almost every day we can. The donuts are one of a kind & the staff is amazing. When thinking about what dessert I wanted for my wedding, there was no question & only one right answer - Brit's Donuts. They made 16 & 1/2 dozen donuts FRESH at 8pm all our guests could enjoy them. This place has continually been voted one of the best donuts in the country for a reason. They are singular, they are fantastic, and they are served hot and fresh. You will eat more than one, you'll probably burn your fingers or your tongue, and it's so good you won't mind. They have a short season, get there while you can!

I went on Sunday morning to get donuts here, and glad I did. It's the perfect Sunday morning thing to do...get local donuts and eat them on the boardwalk. Melt in your mouth and hot. Britt's Donuts is well known for their outrageously delicious donuts, don't go here if you're on a diet because these fat boy pills are so good you could eat a dozen easily in one sitting.... Waited over 45 minutes for doughnuts while staff played on their phones the whole time. The man next to us waited over an hour! They need to stop letting kids run the place. The service definitely was not what it used to be.

Britts Doughnuts has been the Carolina Beach Boardwalk must go to attraction since 1939 ! Lynn is carrying on the family tradition like the professional she always is in everything she does. In season, it?s always the longest line to any attraction at the Boardwalk, including the Ferris Wheel! They have the best donuts made fresh right before your eyes! Cash only. Most people order by the dozen, but you can buy one or any amount you want. Don?t miss it!

I?ve been going to Britts since 2011 but it?s been there since 1939 I believe and I?m sure they don?t need this review but I do it more so other people who have never been make it a point to go! Hot sugar so sweet! You can smell the doughnuts and expect a long line. It was not too bad today. Only a 20 min wait. We have waited in line for an hour to get these warm and sweet desserts. Yummy!! The outside has a little crunch but the inside is soft. Yummy!!

Decent donuts. They come out hot and are light and airy. They were a little busy, there were about 5 or 6 orders in front of me and it was about a 10 to 15 minute wait, which was less than the cashier told me. If you like your donuts cooked to order and don't mind the wait, this is the place for you!

We went here the other night after dinner for a little dessert doughnut. My wife absolutely loved it. If this was her review, she would probably give it five. I thought it was just OK. It was nice to have a warm donut, but there was truly nothing special about it. I prefer Krispy Kreme.

Am so glad it was open when i went,though google says its closed,took the chance and lucky. It was open when i went in the first week of Jun 2023 till 10pm. Non-fussy donut shop with fresh, hot glazed donuts. Britt's is cash only so be sure to have $1 per donut. Our donuts were stil hot and fresh and put in a paper bag. My only complaint is that they did t automatically give us napkins. The donuts are hot and sticky and while they are very good, a napkin is a must. I went back inside to get napkins and there were only 4 left. The shop is open to the outside so it's easy to order. One way in and one way out with a few bar seats inside.
