Korean style hotdogs and donuts. I was leary when my wife took me there. I had a Bulduk-ramon K dog and we shared a Dubi chocolate donuts and the wife had a hamburgers K dog. The prices on the board seemed high, but when we finished eating we found them quite reasonable for the meal we enjoyed. We were to full for our stores donut and had to.take it home to enjoy.
It seems Bobadochi is a unique dining experience. It's definitely worth visiting. Many distinct choices of quality battered Nathan's brand hot dogs with different cheeses and fillings, too. And their donuts are delicious. Their product is consistently made, so you can count on a high yumminess quotient every time. The restaurant was clean, but the tables and chairs were wobbly and probably need fixing or replacement, and the atmosphere was not very inviting and noisy. Staff were really friendly, even a
Delicious!! The mango with sweet rice mochi donut is so good addictive good! Glaze and chocolate always a winner!! Love coming here ??
Service was great. The boba drinks were good. The place is clean. However, our K dogs were undercooked inside and slightly burned on the outside - we still ate it though.
Editing my review, since I've been here twice so far. I love how you can grab a tray and serve your own donuts, just like at other asian bakeries. Both times I got a small Okanawa brown sugar latte (milk), with brown sugar tapioca. The first time the tapioca wasn't cooked soft enough, but today it was perfect at first! But longer it sat later on it gooped up into clusters, hard to suck up straw. My kids devoured their choc donuts, but I saved my smore one for later. But I tried the Gochujang k-dog, with ha
I went in at 10 am. They were just opening and had a few trays out. I got to pick fresh donuts. The store was clean I was greeted. You collect a tray and select your own which is great. I got a match latte also and 4 donuts for about 24.00 I was impressed overall.
the name of this place is so cute! they have different flavors of everything on their menu, so there?s something for everyone! mochi donuts was 8/10! boba was mid, the tapioca pearls didn?t have any flavor?? (in my opinion?but you might like it) corn dog was fresh, crunchy, and YUMMY!
I am craving bobadochi every day after trying it! Everything is made fresh daily so there?s no preservatives, making it even better! You can even see them making the boba by the front! Many options for drinks and customizing them. New favorite place to get a tea drink! Friendly staff and nice environment. Will be back as soon as possible!
The Mochi donuts were not good they tasted like fish. I'm not sure if they fry the fish and hotdogs in the same oil as the donuts but they definitely tasted like fish oil. The people were super nice and the drink was good!
We had heard of this place opening recently through social media and the paper, and figured because we like Korean Dogs, we'd go give them a try! FOREWARNING - this is a long review for a reason! We got there about 10:30 - a half an hour after their listed opening time. First and foremost, when we entered, the atmosphere kind of screamed chaotic from several groups of customers waiting on the other side of the donut case. The interior is fairly narrow and doesn't make for a great seating or standing exper
Visited on a Thursday evening, and they were down to 3 flavors of doughnuts. There's no signs, but the donuts on display are the only donuts available for purchase. I mention this because I thought I would be able to order a half-dozen of other flavors at the counter, but that wasn't the case. So I only tried 1 flavor this visit, Ube Treat ($5.25 ??). The donut itself was delicious and chewy, but the cereal on it was stale. I also ordered a sweet, potato corn-dog ($6.25), but it was burnt and took around 25
They serve old boba pearls and are not allowed to use fresh ones till they use all the old ones. They fill your drink with ice so there is barely any tea and it is impossible to get any boba out because ice blocks it. When mentioned that their boba tastes too hard, they just dismissed the complaint. I have tried good boba and it tastes nothing like it, they are either stored improperly, undercooked or just old. I will not be back
Saw on Salem eats fb that there was a Kdog place now! I've been waiting to try one for so long and have no been willing to make the drive to another city. Let me tell you this place did not disappoint. Food was delicious, staff were very friendly, and staff were very fast with orders (especially with how packed it was) everything is very well made. We got a potatoes dog half amd half with sugar and a sweet potato dog half and half with sugar. We also got a strawberry matcha latte and a taro cream drink. Eve
Really good boba! The donuts are good and chewy like mochi. First time having Korean corn dogs. We tried with sugar and without, it was good both ways.
My husband and I tried two corn dogs and two donuts with a drink. The donuts and drink were great but our corn dogs were undercooked. His especially was wayyy undercooked. Bit disappointed but will be back to try again to see if we can get fully cooked ones!
I had high hopes for this new place based on its excellent reviews. My daughter and I decided to try it out, but we were very disappointed with our experience. The Korean hot dog had very little cheese inside, unlike the pictures posted online, which was quite disappointing. The Ube Taro Pearl Milk had no flavor tasting like plain milk and sugar, the taro boba was hard and seemed to have been cooked a long time ago, not freshly made. The ube donut was a cute decoration, but the taste was just okay. I enjoy
Wanted to try this place as I recently went to a place down in Cali that does this exact same stuff. I honestly prefer the one in Cali. But this place will do if I get a craving for them. I like the options. I got the original glazed, cinnamon sugar and cookies & cream. The original didn?t seem as fresh as the other two. You can?t mistake the cinnamon for not having any (not saying this in a bad way), I was glad I could taste the cinnamon. The cookie one is different, definitely chocolate. I wonder what it
I've been to Bobadochi about 10 times. Each time the staff have been very polite, welcoming and helpful. I've never gotten any of the K-dogs from Bobadochi before, because I've always gone so early in the morning. I've just stuck with the mochi donuts, which are PERFECT!!! Although, the entire reason I even go for mochi donuts is because I want the black sesame donut. Every single time (out of about 10 times) they never have any black sesame. They always seem to have some kind of excuse of why they don't ha
Lots of different dochi/donut flavors to choose from. The black sesame one is awesome. All of them are good, and it's very easy to have favorites since the flavors are so distinctive and memorable. The dough is also very unique; light, airy, and chewy from the mochi goodness. Also has a nice banana sweetness to it (not at all overly sweet). Service was friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere, music, and lighting very calm and relaxed. Loved the traditional tongs and tray self-service setup for the mochi do
Seeing as how I lived in South Korea for two years, I was super stoked to try this place. The vibes are awesome and the boba is tasty. The potato corn dog was made fresh and filled with half gooey cheese, half tasty hot dog. I will definitely be back!
Delicious donuts! Brought my kiddos to try them and loved that they basically break apart into individual donut holes. All the flavors we tried were delicious but I think the group favorite was Dubai (I mean, of course!). Definitely worth a stop. Next time we will try the corn dogs. :)
I want to first start out by saying that I love the mochi donuts! The ube one is my absolute favorite! I?ve been to Bobadochi twice, and the donuts have been pretty consistent. My friends and I tried the boba and it was not our favorite. Tasted a little watered down, and not very sweet at all. The Korean corn dog was disappointing. The breading was nice and crunchy, but the cheese was not melted on the inside. We got half cheese half hotdog, and next time I?d just do all hotdog. These items could use some
First time trying Korean corndogs, and these were great!!! Friendly service with staff who patiently answered my many questions. The mochi donuts were delicious as well. We?ll definitely be back!
Today I got the lychee rose green tea and a glazed, chocolate, and strawberry donut. The lychee rose green tea was lovely and delicate, very refreshing on a warm day like today. I got it at 50% sweetness and next time I?ll do even less, it was very good. The donuts tasted good and the texture grew on me, but they?re a little spendy for what they are so I probably won?t be getting them very often. I went back this evening for my first k-dog. I ordered a regular corn dog with half cheese and half hotdog, and
They messed up on my potato dog order. I wanted half cheese and half dog but they gave us all cheese dog. When I called I was told by Liz I needed to come in before they close at 8pm tonight. Basically I had an hour to go in. I told her I couldn?t come tonight due to other people obligations. I feel that they should have given me til the next day to make it right. Most food place will tell me to come in next time they will make it right. I will not be going here again. They don?t have friendly custom serv
Unfortunately, my experience was AWFUL! We were made to wait for 20 mins for 2 Corn Dogs - no line when we went. The place smelled of used oil - they probably don?t want to switch it off and renew since they only have one fryer. We sat in a unattended lobby full of boxes. The only positive note was the music. On top of that, they charred my potatoes to taste like ash and old oil. When communicated, he said that?s just how they cook the sweet potatoes because they are more fragile (seriously!? I have fried s
Chris was super nice and very welcoming! The drink I got is absolutely BOMB and I cannot wait to munch on some of these mochi donuts. Definitely will be back! They're opening another store in Woodburn too!!
this is what i've been waiting for in salem. i was really excited to try this place and it did not disappoint. no more driving to beaverton for mochinut because we have bobadochi at home. way more affordable compared to it's competition and a lot of variety as well. decently fast service for day 2 of opening week. can't wait to go again!
I first I really did like there donut first time I went but the second time I didn?t. The hot dogs are not good it was still raw and there not fluffy. The cheese has a weird test. Mochi are good but drinks are not good need better quality taste.
Love the mochi donuts! I lived in colorodo for a bit and I discovered mochi donuts there and when I mo Ed back I was really hoping to find some here and this place did not disappoint! The drinks were ok, I honestly prefer T4 for the teas but the donuts are amazing! Have not tried the k dogs yet but will definitely be back!!!
I went in for two small green teas one for me and one for my son, when I received my drinks, my sons tasted off-putting almost sour, slimy! & my drink was not great either. I won?t bother going back, in the future I?ll choose to give my money to a different boba shop
Korean hot dog looks good but falls off , maybe not enough cheese. Do not get just the cheese one. Hope it can be improved
The mango black tea was alright, but the strawberry black tea was a bit syrupy. I fully disclose I'd probably have rated better if I had ordered myself, but I am sick so I got what my dad ordered and took back for me. So this review is based off what I rated and what he told me. I suggest ordering less ice, since about half to 3/4 the cup was full of it. I don't suggest the brown sugar boba pearls.
I walked into this business. It looked like they had donuts... What I thought was a donut was something else I guess. But I'm not paying $5.50 for a donut.. never going to happen. Never going back.. have a nice day.
There?s no staff directing traffic people get their doughnuts and pile up in front of the doughnuts station so others wanting to get doughnuts can?t because they are standing in front of it waiting to pay. Nice staff but just not paying any attention to the other side of the building. It?s not designed very well and just a little area very crowded needs some direction from staff. Potato hot dog was great but it was supposed to be half and half I got a qtr of a hot dog if that.
The boba is terrible; don't waste your money. The donuts taste fake, but are very creative and worth trying.
I have drove past this place a hundred times and never tried it till this weekend. Korean dogs were great. Boba tea was flavorful and sweet, more than any other Boba tea I have tried. Probably get it to go next time. Seating and tables are awkward especially when they are busy and people are standing around you while you eat.
I was very excited to try this new boba spot seeing as they have something similar to Happy Lemon's puff cream topping. Husband brought home a Thai boba for me 4/25. Immediately noticed they forgot to add the boba pearls even though he requested them. Disappointing but at least I can sample the tea. Popped in the straw and was immediately struck by the strong odor of mold. I thought, "maybe it's just me," since I can be sensitive to smells. Proceeded to give it a taste. Big mistake. It didn't just smell li
Prices good, but busy and that makes it slower. I was a little miffed as the drink I had felt a little short changed, but nothing I can't overlook.
Absolutely delicious!! Their boba and donuts are to die for ?? Their customer service is friendly and admirable.
Servers were clueless to the fact that a lot of there products were expired. Once told, they acted like it wasn't important and kept serving people. Don't come here unless you wanna have a bad stomach ache
This place is amazing! The donuts and kdogs were delicious! We got the ube mochi donut, sweet potato + potato dogs, and the ramen dog! I highly recommend this place!
Extremely patient cashier. I was misunderstanding a menu thing bc I'm sleep deprived and she was so understanding and took care to help me be dumb without making me feel like it lol. Mochi donuts were incredible. Got a strawberry one and a snickers. They were both insanely good and we will be coming back. The corn dogs were great too, the breading is so crunchy. We just did original half and half's to introduce the flavor but I wish I would've gotten a fancy one, it was SO GOOD.
The food was amazing and delicious! Everything about there is so immaculate ?. They were so nice and fast at taking my order
While the food is good and the prices are reasonable on this particular day the staff was filming for social media so they filmed every step of our order. By the time it got to us, the korean corndogs were cold and the cheese solidified. Also wish there was more seating as there are tables for two and only 6 total tables. This was our second visit and will return on a day that they are hopefully not filming our food.
Ordered 4 Kdogs, 3 donuts and a fruit tea. Overall, everything was good. There was a large group in front of us, and the process of making those drinks is time consuming for one person. For fun purchased the pickle dog. The dog was cold as well as the inside of the pickle. Batter was cooked well, because of the moisture the batter separated from the pickle and ultimately ate it in its pieces. To be successful, the pickle and hotdogs need to be fried a bit before being battered and given a final fry.
the staff are always wonderful, especially a woman who works mornings mostly. she?s always so kind and is a very hard worker (she may be part of management, not sure). the mochi donuts they are known for have always been fresh and delicious, regardless of what time of day i've purchased one. the k-dogs are always amazing and quite filling. highly recommend!
Gets a star just because we need more unique places. I love k-dogs, but these were just average and the same items within the order were inconsistently made. Mochi donuts aren't my personal favorite. Drinks are good. If not local, 85c bakery has much better drinks of the same category. I would recommend just a standard k-dog with hotdog - sugar, mustard and ketchup too. Average customer service. That being said, I hope this business succeeds.
Overall the donuts are great. The bobas and milk teas are ok but they need to put more flavor or maybe it?s too much ice, it kinda overpower the flavor. And also I ordered 4 donuts and they have promotion that if you buy 3 donuts you get $1 off. I looked at my receipt and I didn?t see the discount, so I asked the girl who rang us up and she said because we ordered 4 donuts ?????????, that doesn?t make sense, so I just let it go, it?s not worth arguing lol. Anyways next time I know, I will have them do two
So delicious! Such a hard working staff, creative menu and incredible taste! Can?t wait to go again.
The doughnuts are SO GOOD! And lots of yummy drink options. They use fresh fruit puree in their fruity drinks and the tea and boba are really good. The staff is so nice and friendly. I'm vegetarian so I didn't try the other food, but it looks delicious. Highly recommend trying this place!
Donuts were good, we got the chocolate and maple bacon and enjoyed them. Gochujang hot dog was great, although the gochujang wasn't as spicy as I was hoping for, it's very mild. Unfortunately for drinks something happened with the machine(?) so we couldn't get the taro lava drinks we ordered, but the matcha ones were alright. I'd say pretty middle of the road for the matcha I've had. The milk substitutions are a bit pricey at $1. Store layout is not great, could use a roped off line as people block the don
Spent 20$ on two drinks and a donut and they were not good we threw them away. The tea was bitter and was flavor less. The cookies and cream blended tasted like they blended Oreos and milk together and called it good. The boba was hard and old even though we went at 11:30. The donut was okay but over all very over priced for the quality of drinks and service.
Stopped by for an afternoon snack, and despite it being 4pm on a Wednesday and seemingly fully staffed, it took a ridiculous amount of time to get to the counter. Staff were friendly enough, but incredibly slow on all accounts. I got a strawberry donut and a Thai pearl milk tea with ube boba, and though the boba was fine and donut was good (soft but delightfully chewy, although flavored way too strongly and almost too sweet for my tremendous sweet tooth), the tea was not. Having ordered full sweetness and h
Was really hoping to love this place, but it was pretty disappointing. I've had boba at dozens of places in CA, so I was hoping it was going to be good. The Boba drinks were really watered down, tasted more like ice milk than tea, and the boba was also flavorless. I have a sensitive taste pallete, so that's saying something. The cups and sealed lids were also pretty flimsy. Make sure you have a light grip otherwise the cup may burst when shaking the contents before puncturing the lid with the straw. The do
The boba tea was pretty good, a little better than average with lots of customization. The mochi donuts are amazing, with the perfect chewy texture and being not to sweet despite the frosting and toppings.
Service was slow and their menu isn't very visually impaired/blind friendly as the font is light on a light background. My girlfriend?s Pina Colada drink was mostly flavorless. The doughnuts were mid and one of the ladies smashed up our pink doughnut putting it into the box. The other doughnut we ordered, the smores doughnut, tasted burnt.
Sooo cute! And delicious ?? I love that you can pull the donuts apart into little sections. I?ve tried 3 different flavors and they are all really good.
Not very sure about other items, but did not like their boba tea much.
Super yummy and the korean corndogs are huge! Just look at that cheese pull!!! The doughnuts were really yummy! The service was great! I was surprised that they were not that busy. Really recommend going here and supporting their business!
i?ve been coming on my lunch breaks at work so the wait times can be a little iffy for the corndog?s, the drinks were fairly quick i got the mango black tea with mango popping boba and it was very yum! i also recommend the potato dog just again the wait time can be hit or miss especially coming on a lunch break on a time crunch, but other than that it?s great!
K-Dog and donuts are excellent! Bobba is perfect on a hot day, too.
Been here twice trying to buy donuts but this place has 2 really small cases where they supposedly keep the donuts but, they NEVER seem to have any! I think they make one batch of each flavor and when they run out they don?t make any more. Would be nice if they put that info on their website so people wouldn?t waste their time going for something that they actually don?t have available
I love the place. They have an amazing options of Boba and the best Boba that they have is ube taro milk tea
Absolutely worth it. Delicious donuts, especially the dalgona one. Some of the best boba I?ve had. I especially liked the chocolate lava milk. And the Gochujang korean corn dog was heavenly. I will ABSOLUTELY be visiting again.
I don?t give out restaurant reviews but this was must, it was my second time here and this is what how much you get if you get no ice and it was not good at all.
Loved the donuts! I will absolutely be going back. The staff were super friendly and helpful, and the donuts reminded me of my trip to Japan.
BEST BOBA EVER!!!! I got the Ube/Taro boba and it tasted amazing!!! Even with insane amount of costumers in line, they get your order ready in great time and are staffed with super sweet people! The atmosphere is great, no negative experiences, and super cute inside!
Tried it for the very first time yesterday on a whim and I'll just say these are THE best donuts I have ever ate and I will definitely be back in the future it was a little pricey but it's worth every penny.
AMAZING! I know they are super busy and the line gets so long! But it is totally worth the wait! I would never leave a bad review on a place just because they were busy ?? I got all 3 of their selections and they were all SO YUMMY! I am a big food fanatic and I know what foods hit the spot, this is one of my new FAVORITES!!!!!
I wish they had half a star because this is what they deserve tbh! Service was bad and the doughnut didnt taste good at all? mind you I had to call five times til they picked up the phone also.
The donuts are amazing and we LOVE the k-dogs!!
I am desperately craving their lychee slushie with popping strawberry right now. It is so good, and I want to cry myself to sleep because I do not have any currently. I am currently drawing a picture of it from memory to try and satisfy this craving but it is not working. I fear I will not see another winter nor a full wallet if this craving keeps up. I am currently in class and this is the only thing I can think about. Hopefully someone will put me out of my misery soon.
Don't waist your time getting the corndogs they are awful and under cooked and they taste like straight old oil made me get a stomach ache after
I love this place love their matcha doughnuts and literally that these are not as sweet as other donut and also tried their corndog so good definitely gonna be where i will get my dougnut highly recommended
The workers are so friendly and nice ! Love the atmosphere in here and even better food. I recommend the corn dogs !! Soaking options throughout the menu
The boba tastes bad the person serving us didn?t pay much attention to us, didn?t ask about ice or sweetness levels
Staff were very friendly and patient with the questions I had.
The donuts are good, they taste fresh and have good texture and aren?t overly sweet.. their boba is good as well and there are a lot of unique options to choose from
yummy donuts and boba drinks are so good.
Super friendly, super easy to order and so so so yummy. I definitely want to try their corn dogs on my next visit!
The donuts were cold, and the monzeralla cheese had no flavor. However the Hotdog itself was good.
Love the place but today Sadly got to experience seeing this lady yelling to a family. ?we close step out? Wile another being nice saying.?hi I?m sorry, we are close? there is a big difference there no need for yelling
The food was really good the corn dogs was the best part and I would go back again
Quick service!! The donuts were Soo good!! The lychee slush was delicious!! The environment and everyone was very cool!!
The owners are the sweetest! Mochi donuts are TO DIE FOR and their Boba is literally the best that I?ve had!
When my wife mentioned the price, I drove to the bank and got a safety deposit box and threw the expensive frosted circles of dough inside.
great boba and korean dogs! my go to when it comes to boba
