Strange location in a back alley but the donuts are delicious. Was a little disappointed by the availability of flavors I specifically went there for being that they literally just opened for the day

I recently used Blackbird Doughnuts for our Resident Appreciate Event in June and it was a big success! The doughnuts and the doughnut wall where a HUGE hit, but the service is also unmatched! They team made everything easy and seamless from day 1! I highly recommend Blackbird Doughnuts if you are looking to WOW any clients, guests, or residents! 10/10

Since Blackbird added Sally?s sandwiches to their menu, this will be a regular spot for me. I split the Buffalo Chicken Wrap and the California club. Both were extremely yummy! It?s hard to find a true simple sandwich spot in the city; fairly robust and flavorful! And of course you?ll be tempted to try their amazing donuts

Blackbird never disappoints. Great flavors, seasonally always changing, donuts have variety depending on which type of dough/base you get. My favorite is the chocolate cake frosted but it always runs out! Get here early!

Blackbird has become a staple in the Boston donut scene. The menu is never the same, but the pastries always hit their mark. The Brighton outlet is more limited in hours and space than their other stores, but that's because the massive bakery in back powers the rest of the operation. This spot is a little tricky to find unless you?re in the parking lot facing the store. There is a great variety of complex donuts but I would probably not recommend this spot for classics. The donuts are quite large. Staff are nice. I?d be interested in trying the other locations. There is not really much seating here.

Donuts are one of my wife's favorite desserts. Although she was very thin ten years ago, she has put on weight recently. I guess it must be because of donuts. Nevertheless, I still recommend everyone to taste the donuts at this restaurant, they are really delicious!

I'm not the biggest donut fan but had come here a number of times through the last few years for donuts and coldbrew... BUT... Their sandwiches are absolutely amazing. Must-stop in A/B for lunch.

The dounuts were not good, the cinnamon roll that I got was completely raw, and the dough was very rubbery on the others.

it's scratched based the only thing is the fry oil used is highly refined the companies use hydrogenated oils then revert it back to liquid through chemical bleaching even though blackbird donuts changes it often I can still tell. the owners could switch to cooking oil same stuff you saute with.

These donuts were ok. Not astounding enough to bring us back. The everything doughnut is really just a soft bagel and was enjoyable! It makes me wonder why there aren?t soft bagels everywhere?

Donuts are delicious! My favorites are the Chocolate Old Fashioned and the Blackberry Bismarck. I definitely want to go back and try their other flavors. The cashier was really nice and friendly, and there's free parking outside (enter from Everett St.) Highly recommend!

My husband and I used to live right down the street from Blackbird and would love getting their coffee and doughnuts on a Saturday morning. We had heard that they catered weddings, so when we had to pivot to a small backyard wedding it felt like a doughnut cake from Blackbird was a no brainer. We worked with Paige who was very helpful every step of the way with our order of individually wrapped mini doughnuts, vegan doughnuts, and our little wedding cake. People have been asking me to try Blackbird for a long time! Finally bought a box of six doughnuts to share with friends to share the guilt haha. Went here as part of my mini vacation in the area. Fantastic cake-y style donuts that were the right amount of sweet. The jasmine ice tea was a nice complement to the donuts. I will be stopping in again next visit!

I like to try a donut place?s plain glazed donut and kind of use that as a yardstick, and Blackbird?s is great?simple, sweet but not overpowering, great texture. Plus they have a lot of different flavors?a really creative and interesting variety. Give the everything bagel donut a try!!!

I'm just going to say it: Blackbird is better then Union Square Donuts, and I'd like everyone to know it. Only problem is their locations almost never have seating but it's a small price to pay. If you ever go when they have a donut with the cold brew glaze, get that one. And if anyone from Blackbird reads this, you should bring back the Ruby Lavender sometime, it was absolutely divine.

Second best donut place in Boston?still absolutely worth trying. The everything bagel donut is one of the most imaginative things I've ever tried, and really delicious and interesting. Other donuts are good too. If you like cake donuts, this is definitely a place to try. I find the raised donuts somewhat chewy. Still very good though. Skip the coffee here, it is not good.

Delicious cold brew and fun lineup of often experimental donut flavors that change regularly. Their brioche is just the right amount of chewy and fluffy. Definitely try the savory everything bagel donut, it will change your world! This particular spot is extra fun because you can peek into the warehouse where they bake and ship the donuts.

I love that there are vegan options. When i visited last weekend a few minutes before closing, they were about to throw out all the donuts when I arrived at the brighton location before closing. Super disappointing they don't donate their daily donuts or offer a bulk amount at a discounted price 5 minutes before closing.

I cant get enough of these donuts. The best ones are the classics: The Blackbird (a cake donut) and vanilla glazed. Specialty rotating flavors are also great, but I'd avoid the sticky bun donut (way too sweet). The everything bagel/donut is also awesome, even if it sounds strange. I'd go here every day if it didn't kill my diet.

Amazing donuts to have every once in a while! Just tried the Matcha Strawberry Crunch and the Funfetti Bismarck. Both were delicious, but I think I would've enjoyed the Cookie Butter + Jelly more as my "filled" option. Guess I have to go back and try it ??

Today was my very first Blackbird donut it was delicious. My family and I got quite the selection and we had to try them all out. And the staff was a pleasure and I can't forget the coffee oh, what a surprise it was really good. So this is a place you cannot go wrong.

This is a simple storefront in a warehouse space, because I think their big kitchen is in back. They had their dozen top flavors out, including to cake donuts which are my favorite. They also had unusual everything donut that is a raised donut with bagel everything seasoning on top it is cut in half and has a cream cheese filling!

omg omg the best donuts and they have vegan options. Their brioche base is hands down the best anywhere. I do wish they had more vegan options and offered at least one plain beautiful vegan brioche in its simplicity.

I'm putting on weight just thinking about these doughnuts. They are so good, the best I have ever had. The chocolate based ones just melt in the mouth. Also, I have no idea how the smores doughnut tastes like it has been in a campfire. Location is a bit funny but I hear this is their bakery so makes sense. They have done an excellent job with the store front for such an isolated location. Doughnuts seem expensive but are totally worth it.

Best donuts in all of Boston. The owners are really cool ppl wish I knew them irl. Their donuts are AMAZING. the everything bagel donut is life changing and so is the strawberry honey and chocolate cake donut. They're all so amazing. And good drinks. Blackbird is my all time favorite

Best doughnuts I've had in Boston hands down. Now I only wish I bought more than 3 ??. After spending $5 per doughnut at a different place a few days before it was nice to see these were much more reasonably priced and tasted much better! Can't wait to go back!

My personal favorite donut place in boston area ! Please do try their old fashioned and everything bagel donut !! Haven't had such good donuts in a long time ! The coffee is unique taste for someone who like Starbucks or dunkin might not like this one !

After hearing so much good about the place, I was left deeply underwhelmed by both the cost and quality of product. No deals on multiples, $3.50 + tax/doughnut. Tried the monkey bread and the apple fritter, found them both too firm and dry to finish. All the other flavours I tried were on par with Dunkins.

Just tried to get a donut but I wasn't let into the store. It says they close at 1 and I am here at 12:20. The worst part was I could see a family in there that was able to order. I was given no explanation. Only a locked door and a unwelcoming face from the employee inside who clearly just wanted to go home early today...

Their Donut Cake is amazing, and so are the donuts.

Shhh! Wickedly delicious gourmet donuts. Wow!!! Get an everything doughnut and tell me I'm in the wrong. Doughnuts done bagel style. Lots of choices from the filling nature of an 'everything' doughnut to chocolate doughnuts of a desert fashion. Seriously check them out and grab some for work or friends. I would never shun a Blackbird. ??

Delicious doughnuts. Their breakfast sandwiches are pre-made and not worth it. Food is delicious but will definitely make you want to take a nap after eating. Try the everything bagel doughnut.

Try their blackbird and everything donut. Favorite special was the strawberry mojito. They nailed the subtle lime flavor while filling the donut with the perfect amount of strawberry jam. You might want to try something else if hungover as this will bring you right back to a mojito passing by your lips.

Inconspicuous store front, let?s locals enjoy the donuts without having to go downtown! Has coffee/cold brew, not full coffee bar experience, but does have all the donuts ??

So exciting to have a blackbird location in Brighton! For my first visit I had the winter citrus doughnut, which was delightful. The place is small so Bret for on the go, but a perfect quick stop on my way to work.

The spiral cone donut was the most amazing texture and flavor I've ever had in a donut. I don't think I can ever go back to a regular donut place.

You really can?t go wrong! The entrance is on the warehouse/dock side of the building around back and is attached to their production kitchen. Well worth the hunt if you can?t make it to their other locations!
