Customer Reviews

I'm very surprised at the 5 star reviews. Did we go to the same donut shop? There wasn't a very big selection. The donuts all tasted old. We were there in the morning so nothing should've been sitting there long. E everything looked sloppy and the old lady there was so crazy and rude. I will usually suffer through the rudeness if the donut is good but these weren't. Also...the place is filthy. Dead flies on the window edges and floor. Noticed as I was leaving. Blah.

Wow this place is amazing, the donuts are great, the bacon maple bar was a bacon lovers dream. It was quality bacon for sure. The filled donuts are big and the reason is they are filled with cream, or fruit filling. The owner was there and we had a chat for about 25 minutes or so. She was from the Philippines, and has a son who wants to be an engineer. She was as sweet as the donuts she sells. They have done in if you want but you can always get one and go. I will say the donuts are one of the best I've had

Stopped by BIZZY JEAN'S DONUTS on this rainy Sunday after hearing that they were being reviewed mistakenly for a donut shop beginning with DD. I met the owner, a sweet lady who is clearly under a great deal of stress by being confused for another donut shop, and even got a harassing phone call while I was there. My intention was to get only 1 or 2 donuts, but after seeing their display case I ended up with half a dozen, including an apple fritter, cinnamon twist, maple bacon bar, and more. For my 6 donut

I felt as if I was an inconvenience and unwanted. She was abrupt and unfriendly. The maple bars and apple fritters were great and fresh but the other flavors we chose were day old. The frosting was broken and donut was soggy underneath it. The glaze fell off the others when she picked them up from a dirty sheet pan. That's day old. I went in just after they opened.

I've been there a couple times and have never been disappointed. You can tell they are fresh and there are lots of options for both filled and unfilled donuts even later in the day. You also get in and out of there in no time. Definitely recommend them for your local donut stop.

Stopped in for some amazing Mother's Day doughnuts ? and bumped into Marcus Mariota! Sweet treats and a Heisman ?? ??sighting! Apparently Ducks Love Doughnuts ?? ??

I have never tasted a donut as bad as these in my lifetime. They are like lead weights that are sloppily frosted with a poor attempt at frosting or glaze. If there was anything redeemable it was the filling in the donuts. At least filling...if you could chew your way through the dirt clod masquerading as a donut...the filling was good. I was seriously contemplating taking them all back for a refund. However, I decided to instead write a review in hopes of sparing some other soul of what I can only call t

Terrible donuts. Ordered the custard filled donuts, they were dry and crumbly stale and had barely a splash of custard in them. The lady at the counter was rude and abrupt. Truly awful product and experience. Don't waste your money.

Is the best and most affordable donut place in town. I always buy donuts here whenever I want to treat my coworkers for their hard work. Ms. Jean, the owner, is usually there to assist you. She's really kind and easy to talk to. If you have a chance, grab a bite and enjoy it.

When you walk into the store the donut smell is intoxicating. The associate was friendly. The donuts were good but the frosting, more of a glaze, on the maple bar and chocolate bar cracked and came off which just left us with a donut bread. Sad faces all around. The "glaze" needed to be thicker or more of a frosting consistency to stick. The flavor was good.

Stopped by this morning and was not given a friendly experience from the start, as I was given dirty looks between ordering and leaving the store. I have never left a negative review but felt the need to say something. I still had hope for the donuts even though the service was not good. These were the dryest, oldest donuts I think I have ever purchased or eaten, seemed very stale and as if they were sitting there for days. Feel as if I wasted time and money coming here, will not be back.

Beautiful donuts. And the lady who checked me out was sooo nice. Tonnes of selection with bacon donuts, cream and custard, maple glazed, and all the traditional flavours.

Every time I visit, she sneaks extra doughnuts for my kids. Jean is the sweetest lady and hard working. Oh, the selection and quality of donuts are amazing.

Awesome donuts! Fast friendly service. Would have had more pictures but was swarmed by my co-workers.

Delicious donuts! They accommodated an 18 dozen order on National Donut Day today for my work! The order was ready for pick up first thing this morning, and they were well received by employees! Thank you again for making such a large order for us!

The donuts are always amazing and the owner is a gem.

Update to note that Bizzy Jean's is NOT affiliated with the similar-sounding donut shop starting with D! Jean is a sweetie and deserves your business. My review: The donuts have that delicious fresh taste even after you take them home, their chocolate frosting is fantastic, and unlike some other donut shops, they still use real bacon on their maple bacon bars. Even better, they seem to bake fresh donuts several times each day, and are open much later than your average donut shop, so you can get fresh donu

Excellent donuts! Nothing beats their glazed donut holes out of the fryer.

Donuts were fresh and delicious, staff were friendly. Will be coming back!

Bizzy Jean's is not Dizzy Jean's. I don't know if Local Guides on Google is still a thing but if it is here is a review by a local guide on Bizzy Jeans. It's 4:50am my partner and I just got done with yet another call, dropping a patient off at the hospital. It's been? a busy, cold, wet, rainy shift. Having tried and failed a few times to get a bite to eat, only to have dispatch drop yet another call on us. We found ourselves in a parking lot, tired, hungry, and consigned to the fait the rest of the shift

I got at least three very dry Donuts out of a half-dozen. Haven't tried any of the rest of them yet. They do have a great deal I think from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. you can get two donuts for a dollar fifty. The maple bar in the glazed donut were the very driest. Nothing I would ever want to do again

I only gave it Two stars because they had a nice selection . However I got the chocolate cream filled one and it was a bit dry .. A small amount of cream and the main portion of the donut was dry. Kinda seemed like it might have been a day old to me. I will continue my hunt for a truly yummy cream filled donut.

Great doughnuts! And I'm not just saying that to support a local business that was unfairly confused with another business that got cancelled for poor behavior from the owner ... But I'm also doing that.

This is the best doughnut shop in town. Very friendly staff. The doughnuts are fresh and taste amazing. The store is all small but always clean. There is seating if you would like to sit and eat your treats. Nice variety of doughnuts. Hard to choose a favorite. But get a dozen of mixed ones and you won't be disappointed.

THIS IS NOT THE DONUT PLACE INVOLVED IN THE NEWS* my family and i come in often to get donuts from here and they are delicious ??. Friendly and fast service and everything is always fresh!

Walked into this little doughnut shop not expecting much. We were greeted with a smile and they were patient while we made our choices. Upon biting into my maple old-fashioned I was impressed! Rave reviews from us three and we will definitely be back.

The donuts were ok. Not impressed with the service. There were only a couple donuts when we went in. Immediately after we paid, the guy working went back and grabbed two full trays of much better, fresher donuts. Then, when we asked for the restroom, he said it was already closed for the night. They were still open for over two hours. What in the world? Not impressed.

This place is amazing!!! They have plenty of products to chose from. You can eat until your sweet tooth is satisfied. The pricing is great and they even have huge doughnuts. Great job ate!!! I?ll be coming back soon.

Stopped in to get doughnuts for my employees. Awesome doughnuts and a very fair price. I come here only for doughnuts.

The people there are so nice. My husband went in to get donuts for him and our 2 yo son. The woman picked out donuts she thought our child would love. The donuts are fantastic, homemade donuts.

Bizzy Jean's (totally a different entity from Dizzy Dean's) is a great donut place. Don't get them confused. Any reviews pertaining to Bizzy Jean's pouring water on homeless people are ill-informed, do not listen to these.

They're not as good as the location in Eugene, if you go in after 2pm...,the buttermilk donuts are greasy and hard. and there are varieties of donuts they sell in Eugene, that the people in Springfield don't know how to make....duh?...the store is owned by someone who bought in to the company I think? ....anyways they started off good when they first opened (Springfield location )but have been going downhill since.....in my opinion. ...?

This establishment orders from Dawn Distributors Advantage which is basically like ordering Betty Crocker. It?s all premixed off-site; This location just warms up the doughnut mix in a oven and adds sprinkles. They have copied about 6 different Voodoo Doughnuts (bacon maple, Captain Crunch etc.) I have tried 4 of them and I?m not returning for the other 2; They failed to exceed Voodoo in everything but price. Which when paying so little for a treat, I guess you kinda get what you pay for. The bacon maple fr

We love the donuts here and the service is great the lady behind the counter is sweet . We got 13 donuts and each of them was so good our fav was the one with the apples. Thank you so much we will definitely be back soon.

it's not dizzy dean's! it's a totally different business with a similar name. so hold your 1 stars. I am in the market for a new doughnut shop (I wonder why) so I can't wait to give you a try.

Mmm. Great tasting donuts/cinnamon rolls. Mini glazed donut holes sold by the dozen. Giant maple bars. Maple bars topped with bacon pieces. Blueberry filled round donuts iced with a delicious bright white frosting. Twists so soft they just melt in your mouth. Soft n airy cinnamon rolls bigger than your hand Same lady there every time I've been there. She's a hard worker. Akways busy. Brief and friendly chat. Repeat customer rewards card. Mmm.

I thot i had reviewed this place already but after a few years its still my favorite. Maple bars are always a good "go-too" the owner Jean is always nice. And the girls at master i just can't stand. No customer service over there(the one on mohawk anyway. )

So good! How can a donut be bad?!?! Went later in the day and the donuts were still fresh and delicious! Will go back again! Really love that they are open into the evening!

Such good donuts!! Absolutely worth the money and tip! If your used to homemade quality this is the place.

The donuts are delicious! The service is efficient and the atmosphere could be more inviting.

Great place and good folks! Not like that scumbag owner from dizzy dean's who threw cold water on that poor homeless person. Keep doing a great job God loves good people!

Super good doughnuts. Good on price. It's a small place but very friendly staff. Got a bacon maple bar that was way better then others I've had and it was huge!

Excellent quality donuts, great selection, and very helpful friendly staff. Not to mention the apple fritters are the size of a child's face and zo good.

Old tasting donuts even thougu I got there first thing in the morning.

Go here if you like day old donuts at 6:30am on a Saturday. I am done with this place. Too many times have I gone here and get home and the donuts are day olds. Ridiculous. Dizzy Deans never does that.

There's nothing like a good maple bar and Dizzy Deans makes good ones. They often have hot donuts as well. A great donut shop.

Great donuts, great prices

2 out of 5. Why? Well, I have yet to order to a donut from this place, but I find that one of the people who works there is a bit rude. I went inside there to see if they have any applications, but all I got was that they said there were not hiring. I get it that there were not hiring, but they should have said if they have any applications or not. Finding a job is hard to look for

Pretty good doughnuts got bear claw apple fritter and a chocolate bar ( maple bar ) good variety didn't seem real fresh though and was there at 630 am

I always enjoy dizzy at 430 in the morning and woke up craving biscuit and gravy with a fresh glazed donut

Great selection, great service.

The best. I mean the absolute no holds barred nothing else can compare the best. They are even still fresh the next day if you happen to get more than you can eat.

This is not the donut shop that threw the water on a homeless person. They're donuts are delicious and everyone should try them.

I?m giving this 5 stars cause of all the confusion this small store is getting from a viral video that was a completely different store, owner, and town. If I?m ever in Springfield I?ll be sure to try it

Far better service than Dizzy Dean?s. If you?re here to review bomb you?re in the wrong place. Dizzy Dean?s turned off their Google maps account.

What can I saw, the boxed dozen was superb. However, the apple fritter is to die for. I'll miss going there for leaving for work in Iow

Nice people. Quick to get me the donuts I need and the people that I bring them to say they are delicious. Coffee isn't bad either.

Lady was very rude, gave us dirty looks, and donuts were stale. We won't be back and I don't recomend

Donuts were cooked way too long, horribly long, thought I would try something closer to home but day n night on 99 is far better and definitely worth the drive

Great friendly service and the freshest donuts I've had in Oregon. Try it, you'll like it.

This place has the best pastry!! Very friendly I did struggle with the speach but this is a free country and we all have to keep learning.

Awesome donuts! Friendly owner. Must try the Maple-bacon bar! Good prices.

Pretty good, not the best but not terrible. I think maybe too sugary was the problem but they were fresh and had some different flavors.

Threw cold water on me for being outside on a phone call and donuts were stale do not recommend

They make the best doughnuts in Springfield

Oh my goodness... they have maple bacon bars!!! You can even call ahead and they even offer to make one if they're out!!!

Their Donut's always fresh In the early morning. The prices are good for single Donut's and dozen of them.

Great doughnut holes and filling yummy bearclaws....fresh, reasonably priced. What's not to like?

Pretty decent doughnut shop. Worth the stop in if your in the area and want some of the bizzy. If you know what I mean

Love Love Love this place. And the lady that owns it is soooooo sweet. And she has good prices and a grate punch card system.

Best donuts in the Willamette valley and one of the friendliest places I've ever been.

There French donuts are to die for. Never had one better. Perfect place to stop by on your way to work

They make the best crullers, I highly recommend you stop by and and see what they have in the donut case

It seems they only deliver when they feel like it... then cancel the order when they change their minds

I?d just like to clarify that Jeans donut shop shouldn?t be confused with Deans donut shop

Shoutout to all the 3 iq people reviewing the wrong store. They should take your internet privilege away ??
