Bigwig Donuts

These donuts are life changing! I?ve never before experienced a gluten free dessert so moist, nor a vegan dessert so delicious. I dream of these little nuggets of awesome. My favorite regular flavor is the matcha chocolate and my favorite seasonal flavor is the lavender earl grey. However, every single flavor is a winner.

Adorable little shop in downtown Salem, with great staff! My partner and I frequent this place and are always welcomed with smiling faces. The donuts are delicious, particularly for being gluten friendly, and their partially rotating menu gives you something new to try (or to look forward to with seasonal favs!). As a vegan I don't get to enjoy donuts very often so I love making a trip to Bigwig Donuts. Many of the donut holes are still hot because they are made so fresh (lemon poppyseed and matcha chocolate are my faves). All of the drinks are amazing but I particularly love the iced lavender matcha latte with cold foam. They use Oatly for the milk and have a great chai as well. Not much seating inside but food is easy to grab and go. Staff is always very friendly and make me want to keep coming back.

I went Gluten/Dairy free last year for health reasons and was missing donuts. when I found Bigwig Donuts in Salem it was amazing. my favorites are the cinamon sugar and maple donut holes but they change out flavors every few weeks and you really can?t go wrong with any of them. the staff are extremely friendly and always seem to have a smile on their faces when I stop in.

Such a good vibe and delicious vegan doughnuts. I had their lavender match drink iced. It was delicious and if you like earthy flavor this is your drink. The chia tea was delicious as well. Amazing staff, kind every time we go it's been a positive experience.

Tiny little shop with genius flavors! I love the freeze dried raspberry powder they use! And a nice maple glaze. All of their donuts are just donut holes, which I love more than donuts which are sometimes too big. These little guys let you try several different flavors without getting stuffed.

This is our favorite place to go as a family for a sweet treat. Being plant based and gluten free, there aren?t many options for donuts. Whether you?re gluten free, vegan, or none of the above, these are the best donuts in town! I highly recommend!

Love love love the doughnut holes. It's such a blessing to have a spot to take my kids to enjoy a tasty treat without the worry of gluten. My kids said they're a 10/10 ! We will be back again!

As someone with celiac, I don?t always find dedicated gluten free places to eat. Not only are their donut holes GF, but they?re delicious as well! I'm been a loyal Big Wig fan since 2015 and am still just as obsessed! Best donuts around that just happen to be gluten free and plant-based - a great stop for those with celiac as well since everything is gluten free! We love all the flavors but especially matcha chocolate (and the lavender earl grey seasonal). Their drinks are also awesome - the golden milk is my absolute favorite.

Update: every time I visit salem, I stop here and I always enjoy their donuts. I highly recommend the matcha chocolate. gluten-free donut holes that taste amazing! if you're in Salem, I highly recommend you give them a try. they do not taste GF at all. they are so soft and delicious and offer great flavors. and they're a great price, too!

These donut holes are incredible. They aren?t the cheapest donuts on the market by any stretch of the imagination but they are worth every penny. My son, who eats vegan, demands to show off Big Wig whenever we have any visitors from out of town and they are always shocked at how tasty and beautiful these little donut holes are.

We have been coming to BW for about a year now and we absolutely ADORE the staff, the donuts, coffee, good vibes, etc? it is truly a safe haven for us. The donuts are so good, nothing compares to them. The staff is family to us??

Just love this cozy place in downtown Salem. The donut holes are out of this world, AND gluten free and vegan to boot? A simply perfect, bite-sized treat.

Love coming here when I can. The donut holes are always amazing, can?t go wrong with any of the flavors. The drinks, whether coffee, the fOat, or any others are also always delicious. The 2 I highly recommend, if available, are the Maple Brown Sugar Latte and the Lavender Matcha Latte. The best part about it all, is that it?s gluten and dairy free.

I have yet to taste a better gluten free donut. When I bring family and friends here, they have no idea they are GF until I tell them. They definitely are best enjoyed fresh and warm, paired with a coffee of tea of your choice!

Bigwig has a great chai latte, amazing gluten-free vegan donut-holes, and friendly staff! They sell their masala chai powder, too, which I like to pick up so I can still have their chai even when they're closed.

Vegan doughnuts you say! I tried them for the first time and I was pleasantly surprised. Not a lot of options for different types of doughnuts but what they do make are very good. I would recommend trying them out.

Holy cow these fresh vegan donut holes were delicious! I loved so many flavor options and they all were yummy. And a sampler for $6? Perfect! I can't wait to be back. Also tried the hot chocolate and it was fantastic. This is a regular stop for me anytime I'm in town.

Hands down, the best place to get donuts holes. They're fresh every day, with flavors that rotate every month, and always delight. Some of my favorites include lavender earl Grey, smores, and apple cider. I've shared the donuts with countless people, and all of them ask me for more. The results are universal: THEYRE GOOD! Finally broke down and popped in to try these donut holes? was soo not sorry I did so. I love that they have a 3 for $4 donut special? I?m not a huge eater so that was so handy. I got an iced London Fog and 3 donuts? lemon poppyseed, maple, and cinnamon. Lemon and maple were definitely my favorite. The donuts are very dense and moist, I really liked them. Will come again.

We used BigWig donuts for our dessert bar at our wedding and they were a huge HIT! We are gluten & dairy free so these were a perfect fit! There was not a single one left! We ordered 20 dozen total! 4 dozen of each their 5 flavors! I would highly recommend using them for any of your dessert bar needs!

This is a must if you?re in the area. You don?t even have to be gluten free to love these donut holes. We get them every time we?re in town. They?re also an easy addition to any family gathering as a gluten free desert.

It takes over an hour for me to drive here and back, and they are definitely worth the trip. Take that as you will! The chocolate and the lemon poppyseed donuts are my favorites. The small business is amazing! The owner is super friendly and if you often enough he will remember you. The donut holes taste great and are a rare place in Salem that is completely gluten free and vegan. They also sell great drinks to go along with the donut holes.

Bigwig has the best flavors! I love the standards, but enjoy the seasonal offerings as well. I follow a vegan diet and it is not always easy to find something for a group to enjoy together. But Bigwig Donuts are a treat everyone loves! And the service is always great, order online and pick up or enjoy the charming downtown location while you wait.

These are the best donuts I?ve ever had! The people in the shop were very kind giving us a free donut hole because we wanted to try them all and there were 7 flavors that day and every one was delicious! My kids loved them too! And of course we appreciate that they are vegan. Highly recommend and and easy walk from the playground at the waterfront.

Great gluten-free product; would never know they don?t contain gluten. They should sell whole doughnuts and stay open past 2 p.m., but that?s just me because I loathe downtown parking. The price is steep, but they are worth the splurge now and then.

The smell of baking fills my nose as I enter a place I am all too familiar with, as i come here way too often. A business that is fresh and new like their pastries, and a place that is welcoming and as heart warming as a the donuts they make. BigWig donuts are not only delicious - you crave more and saver every bite, the people running this place and working here are kind and giving.

My husband picked up two of each flavor on a busy Sunday, and they did not disappoint! Swift, friendly service. Very soft, light, and richly flavored donuts. We?ve been coming to Big Wig since they did pop ups in Portland about 5-6 years ago and are always such big fans! Due to health issues, we?ve had to adapt to being gluten free over the last year, and it has been a great treat that we can still enjoy Big Wig! Staff and owner are all lovely & really care about what they?re doing. Amazing tea & coffee, and donuts that everybody can enjoy. 11/10!

Delicious vegan and gluten free donut holes that even my picky family members love to eat. My favorite is the matcha chocolate, because it's so fudgey. The order online process is pretty easy too and it's a quick trip since they only do the donut holes and artisan coffee and there's no indoor seating. I only wish they were open more hours and had a drive thru in multiple places.

We have been going to Bigwig since they were only a pop-up shop and still make the jaunt there as often as we can, despite living 40 min away now! As someone with celiac disease, I've been an avid lover of Bigwig since they opened. For my wedding in September 2023, I pre-ordered 50 dozen donuts and they turned out fantastic. So many people told us that they couldn't even tell they were gluten free and vegan. Bigwig donuts are so delicious. I did not expect honestly to have such a high quality taste and texture from something both vegan and gluten free but they are sooooo good. I don?t have dietary needs and still happily choose to get their donut holes. I love that I can go with family and friends with dietary restrictions and we can all enjoy the same experience.

Bigwig Donuts is definitely a favorite of ours! My wife is gluten/dairy/egg free so it is difficult to find treats that can accommodate her diet. It is a weekly stop for us for sure!

The best gluten free VEGAN donuts around. It?s so hard to find donuts that taste good which are vegan. These melt in your mouth, have delicious flavors, and best of all are not soggy! You have to try them out. Also for our gluten free lovers, these are not grainy which I?ve noticed some gluten free deserts tend to be :)
