Amazing people and donuts. We came here twice while on vacation and it was always very fresh. I love the feel of the place with older gentleman having coffee and donuts, just hanging out. The staff is very friendly and she always gave a couple extra donuts. They're very good!! Prices were reasonable (cheaper than the day old ones you could get at Ralph's).
Our selection included a huge ham & cheese croissant, seriously huge, chocolate twisted long John, and a maple old fashion. Everyone enjoyed their selections. We were welcomed right when we walked in, and the gal in the back poked her head out with a big smile and both gals thanked us for our purchase. The only hold back from a 5 stars would be the croissant wasn't as flaky it was more sandwich-like.
Probably one of the BEST places to get sandwiches from. The sandwhiches are croissants with your choice of eggs , bacon, ham, or whatever you want that?s on the menu . The food was so delicious and I ate it up . However one thing is they have this delicious croissant that was given to me with lettuce tomato and avocado and it was the best thing ever. However the next time I went they didn?t add lettuce , tomato , or avocado, so just make sure to ask in advance . But overall it?s a great place to go and I l
Smells of cigarettes soon as you open the door I felt like I was going to pass out as I am pregnant & don?t smoke ever that was very unpleasant, donuts weren?t good just sugar and bread really , had a fresh OJ which was very tart was charged 10.75 and I only got $2 worth of donut holes , OJ & 1.50 donut so I definitely was overcharged . Service was great the lady was nice but I would not recommend also parking is a no go .

Friendly cashier but when I walked in I was immediately hit by cigar smoke and can swear I could taste it in the donuts I had pre-ordered... The older male customers hanging out in there were also staring at me and I felt weirdly uncomfortable and anxious to leave.

Lovely people working her, fresh donuts at a good price. What more could you ask for? It is across the street from a middle school and the intersection can be treacherous but, for my money, best donut place in the area. I get a dozen donuts from them once a week and they always give me extras. Very sweet people.
Big Jim's is the best donut shop in Glendale, hands down. The staff is always friendly, jovial, and helpful. The donuts are fantastic (they make the only old fashions that I like), and they always try to make you feel special when you shop there by throwing in some donut holes or an extra donut when we order. 5/5 stars and if I could give 6, I would!

My family and I are visiting the LA area from NJ. My husband stopped by here while taking our daughter out for a walk. He came back with some glazed donuts and plain croissants. They were so delicious I asked him to stop by again the next day. This time he got chocolate iced with sprinkles. Just as delicious as the glazed! The staff are friendly as well. I highly recommend!

I have always thought that the Mom and Pop run doughnuts shops always have the best tasting doughnuts. No other chain shop comes close. The folks here are very nice and the doughnuts taste delicious. They are so kind As to give me one extra doughnut when I come in to buy one or two. The coffee here taste very good as well.
So good! Lots of yummy choices! I had a variety of donuts and the buttermilk donut brought back nostalgic memories. So good and so were all the other flavors. Very fresh. Will definitely come back again!
Super friendly people. I love the fact that every time I order coffee they always make me a fresh cup. I'd just say expect a moderate to full parking lot due to the fact that there are other restaurants and 711 beside it.
Let's talk about Big Jim's Donuts. Do I get donuts here every week? Yes. Yes, I do. Are they delicious? Yes, they are. Do I go out of my way to bring them to every single brunch I show up to regardless of where it is? No, that would be rude BUT I want to. Cannot recommend them enough. Also won 20 bucks on a scratcher so this place is definitely my jam.
At night they don't have so much variety of donuts, but early on the day I like to buy croissant ham and cheese with jalape?os, really good and tasty, also they have cronuts, and really good chocolate coconut cake one of my favorite. That's why I do not go often I like all of what they have !!!
