Big Island Poke x Mochinut

Yum! Yum! This place is very clean with great lighting. Parking isn't the greatest but there's not much they can do about that. Food was yummy! I'm on a somewhat keto diet and they had a variety of choices for me to make a satisfyingly full meal. I did not try their teas, mochi donuts, or original hotdogs/mozzarella due to my diet but my nieces REALLY liked them. Service was efficient, knowledgable, and pleasant.

I got some food to go,, and it was great. The location is apparently new, and the food was fresh. I got two poke bowls, fried shrimp and fried octopus. It was very good. The place looked reasonably clean, and the service was great. I am definitely coming back.

If you?re in St. Paul, this spot is a must-visit! Located right next to Macalester College, it?s a favorite for my family?my kids absolutely love it. The mochinut and bubble tea consistently excellent, and their poke bowl is incredibly fresh and flavorful. Highly recommend!

Large, delicious poke bowls! I ordered the namesake Big Island Poke Bowl, and it was packed with delicious tuna and salmon, and had great flavors throughout. Was a little more expensive than I was expecting but it's packed with great ingredients.

Cute place, horrible parking space. Food was ok for the price. I wish they would?ve had more meat in the poke bowls. (I had the big island bowl). It was clean inside and the ambience with the lighting choices made it bright and fun. Overall, I wouldn?t go back again unless there were no other options.

The food was fresh and there are some hot food options. You've gota try the Takoyaki, they're delicious! Also great options if you're on a keto diet, just get salad, plain fish and ask for some salt and sesame oil if you are not too worried. We top it off with some fresh Mochinut and even bought a dozen home to share with family. Staff are friendly. The atmosphere is light and bright ??

My new favorite poke spot in the Twin Cities! The poke bowls were fresh and delicious with generous portions. The service was great and they were very knowledgeable about which ingredients were gluten-free and what precautions to take to avoid cross-contact. They had many GF sauce options and toppings. Can't wait to go back again soon!

This place is amazing! The store is spotless, with helpful staff and a modern atmosphere. I always stop by every Tuesday after class with my kids for their delicious mochi donuts and Thai tea. I highly recommend it!

Yummy poke bowls, cool drinks on a H O T day. Great location. Super genuine, attentive and friendly staff, and the donuts were a great treat at the end of our meal. Enjoyable background music. We?ll be stopping here again when we are in the area. Happy to have found a poke place open on a Sunday.

Went for their grand opening. The store was crowded as expected. Their poke bowls were above average. The owner (I think) was very nice, very attentive. We git a couple of bowls from the set menu and a couple of boba tea cups (with free mochi donuts for that night). Will come again. Parking might be difficult though.

The signature bowl is about $20 and it's very filling. I could probably eat it all but I would be uncomfortably full so I have a little left-overs. The ingredients were fresh. Service was very fast. As fast as Jimmy John's.

The Volcano Bowl was really tasty, reasonably-priced and as an aspiring gym bro who minds their protein intake, contained a lot of protein. Also the staff were very kind and welcoming, the space was clean and bright. The mochi donuts were delicious and perfectly chewy and not at all stale. We tried the strawberry vanilla flavor and thought it was really adorable that they put little hearts on it for the holiday. I'd eat there again. :-)

My favorite poke bowl in town! Very helpful staff. It?s also great that they have rice hot dogs & mochi donuts because our children don?t want to eat poke bowls every other day like me. Kids say: amazing bubble tea!

Parking is pretty terrible but the poke bowls were fantastic! Protein portions were on par with the price and the toppings were the key to making a really tasty custom bowl. I hope they don?t change the structure of the ordering, it?s nice to be able to load up on the veggies!

Poke and appetizers are delicious, the staffs were very helpful and friendly. A great place to stop hy to grab a quick bite of food and desserts.

Got a choose-your-own bowl including Ahi and shrimp and mango. Things look and taste very fresh . The place is clean and bright. Staff are efficient and friendly. Most bowls are $15-16. Very large servings.

If we?re comparing the food to the reviews written by what seems to be friends/workers of the restaurant, it doesn?t meet the standards of what is said. Went here a couple times since they opened and the rice was bland and dry both times I?ve gone. Same for the spicy tuna. First time I went, it was crazy loud due to a bigger group so it was hard to dine in. I ended up getting a lid to go home and eat. Just a bad copycat of Poke House. Food is bland and service is whatever. Nothing special.

I will be going back! I got a brown sugar milk tea that was the perfect amount of sweet, a fresh coffee biscoff mochi donut, and a build your own poke bowl! I have no complaints! I love the concept of building your own poke bowls and they have lots of toppings available. The staff is all very friendly and they did well with it being busy.

I love to customize my poke bowl with all those yummy ingredients and toppings! The appetizers are such a menu bonus. And the donuts are fresh! Super clean restaurant with friendly staff too.

The space is stunning with bright fun colors. Service with a smile and the staff are able to answer any questions and help you make a delicious lunch. The options that this store offers for food is great! The poke is extremely fresh, the mochi donuts add an option for dessert and wash it all down with a boba tea! My favorite is the options for sides they offer gyoza, spring rolls and more. If you haven?t checked out Big Island Poke yet you are missing out.

Our new favorite spot! My boyfriend loved the volcano bowl. I got a create my own with the shoyu tuna and the sweet sesame sauce, so yummy! We decided to get donuts and boba as our sweet treat after dinner. The coffee biscoff was a 10/10. The peach mango boba was also great! We will be back!

Got a 6 pack of mochi donuts and they were delicious. My daughter loves donuts and is a connoisseur of sorts and deemed this our new donut spot! Great addition to the neighborhood!

First time here and let me tell you................i have something to say I dont normally do reviews but i couldnt not with this one............All around great expierence we got two of the build your own bowls and they were both amazing! Taste wise and quality/quanity of ingredients were top notch. I have had a few poke bowls in my life and this one by far exceeded expectations.
