Holy moly this place is incredible! Fantastic customer service and donuts to match. The fritter is amazing. Seriously just get the apple fritter and be happy. We also enjoyed our double chocolate cake donut and maple bar. The old fashioned was tasty with a little lemon hint and the yeast glazed was decent to us. We prefer a more substantial glaze and the glaze today was pretty thin but I'm sure there are plenty of people that prefer it that way. We've tried the buttermilk bites and don't need them again. Th

My 1st time here. The Staff that greeted us and waited on us was super sweet and helpful in deciding and explained details clearly. The Crispy Apple Fritter was Huge and absolutely Delicious ?? never knew this place existed on our Many trips to Florence. Would definitely recommend it and for Sure Going back on our next trip! I often prefer a good fritter. However, the quality can vary greatly. In general a donut is a donut, but a fritter can either be delicious or completely ruined. Yes, you probably already know what I'm going to say since there are 5 stars. They made the apple fritter quite excellently! I've had some that were just too greasy, too dry, too small, too rich.... Etc This was the opposite in every way. It was delicious and the only bad thing is that I'll probably never come back since I was just driving through..

These donuts are the real deal! The apple fritter was amazing and I don?t typically like fritters. The basic donuts are so pillowy and delicious. The glaze on the buttermilk bars was perfect, not dry but not too wet. We are going to go back and check out the lunch menu.

These donuts are addicting. We had to stop and buy more everytime we passed. Make sure you get there before they sell out. Huge and fresh. My wife says the apple fritters are the best she's ever had. We showed up pretty early in the morning and tried the breakfast burritos! The staff was really helpful and friendly, and there?s a little sit down area to eat your food. It?s a small place, so space is pretty limited, but the other guests seemed like regulars and were really friendly. Food was also delicious!!

I went twice. The second time they were out of sprinkles. When I mentioned telling my little boy that there would be no sprinkles the older guy lept into action. He added sprinkles and really went above and beyond. Great donuts. Excellent people. Will return

We grabbed 2 breakfast sandwiches and 3 donuts for our morning drive to the sea lion caves, and let me tell you, they did not disappoint! The sandwiches were fresh and lovely, they had obviously just been made when we called them in. The donuts were super good, the Bavarian cream filled donut was perfect, the cream evenly distributed throughout, which is rare. The old fashioned was super good, and the buttermilk is a rare treat. We would definitely go back if we come through this area again.

We just moved to Florence, and I wanted to find a donut shop. After a google search, I knew I had to try this place out. Today, while hubby wanted regular fast food, I wanted a fresh sandwich. I love trying donuts in different cities/towns. The ma and pa sort, not chain shops. (I personally think that Krispy Kreme donuts are gross- like eating sugared air that leaves a grease slick on your tongue). I tried a few here, all really good. The bear claws and Apple fritters are GIANT. They have plain old fashioned- a little hint of lemon on them. The breakfast burritos are stout and also very tasty. And the service was wonderful- friendly and fun. Would definitely come back.

My daughter and I decided to do a donut tour since we were on a mother and daughter date from Alaska to see ?Wicked? last year. We stopped on a wim At Big Dogs right before closing and were so glad we did!! These donuts were hands down the BEST donuts we have EVER eaten! Of all the donut shops in Oregon-big and small- these were the best! We still talk about them and recommend to anyone traveling to Oregon!

It?s a little homey on the outside but that only adds to the charm. It?s in a old gas station. Ask for the buttermilk bar - it?s amazing!! Also the coffee and steak burrito was great. Nice comfy place that?s a new must stop for us. Really nice guy, must be the owner.

My brother and I were just traveling through and we stopped to grab a few donuts. They were so good!! We got the fritter, a maple bar, and a chocolate covered buttermilk donut. The staff was friendly and let us hang out in the restaurant while waiting for the bus. The place looks a little ghetto but don't let that stop you from stopping by.

OMG!!! AMAZING DONUTS!!!! stopped in to look for pastries yesterday. No pasteries so we saw how huge the donuts are and bought a few to try. The Apple fritters are INCREDIBLE!!! I have never had as soft and flavorful donut as my apple fritter! I am not typically a donut eater but this is AMAZING!!! My husband also tried Bear Claw (huge), and 2 chocolate ring donut. All superb!! Have not tried the deli but I am pretty sure its super great just because these donuts are absolutely the BEST!!!

I can't say enough about this little place. Just walking in the smell of fresh baking makes you want to buy everything in the showcase. We were here fairly early and there was not much left which tells you how good their donuts are. Fresh, soft, sugary, sweet, ummmmmm! The lady behind the counter was awesome too and we hope she gets to Moraine Lake one day. Go early and load up on their delicious donuts and their sandwiches looked great too! ??????????

Traveling across country and spending some time in Florence, OR. We were looking for some burgers/donuts and were so happy to have found Big Dog Donuts & Deli. The food was good, the price was great, and the customer service couldn't be beat. Very friendly and definitely earned us as repeat customers.

It's been a while since I've updated this, but seriously you can't go wrong here! The broasted chicken he's trying out is delish, and any time there's an apple fritter- just buy it- you were lucky enough to get one, you just get one! If he's trying something new just try it, ribs- get it, burger special- just get it! The club was delish!!! The service was great! Love this local favorite! That?s the thing about using quality ingredients, you don?t need to get fancy. Seriously the best donuts! And now they are carrying a small selection of craft beers as well (check dates). One of my favorites spots in Flo. Love bs-ing the owner about craft beer as well.

I'd almost given up hope on finding good biscuits and gravy in Florence until I discovered this place. Their biscuits and gravy are not only DELICIOUS, but they're at an unbeatable price as well. Best donuts in around! Stopped by last week on our way through town. Amazing Donuts and our lunch was fantastic. You can really tell they care about the quality of food they serve their customers.

This used to be a fantastic donut shop. Today the price was $2.50 per bagel and I bit into to discover it was dry with age. When I asked about when the bagel was baked, I was told it was day-old. I think perhaps a couple of days old. It is the only donut shop I've ever been in that didn't sell day-old honestly marked and dicounted. Big Dog has changed and lost my business.

No bagels?? Seems like everything they sell is pre bought from the local supermarket... and like someone else mentioned- sold out by 7am. I guess they are open for the Travelodge and old folks. skip the middle man and just get your donuts from Fred Meyer or Safeway (safeway has a Starbucks for coffee)

As we sat outside of the small, underwhelming building to gulp down a quick breakfast before our adventures for the day, magic started happening. Yum ....YUM! We didn't know where to go, we visit florence a lot, yet never been or even heard of this place. Based on the reviews we decided to go here. This place has ok donuts. The donuts here are tasty but provide the same feeling you get when getting donuts from a Fredmeyer's or Safeway. In other words it is probably easier to go to these other stores because you can buy other things and get the same donuts. The only thing better about big dog donuts is they have a larger variety.

Amazing apple fritters and pastries! It's easy to miss (drive right by) on hwy 101 but once you realize it's a bakery, the next thing you'll notice is it's packed parking lot! Don't skip this awesome stop!

We were recommended here since we stayed next door, came in to look, then returned after asking my son what he wanted. On the second visit i brought my Pekinese, to which the guy asked if he was a service dog (no). He asked me to leave, and in doing so I waggled my wallet to him from the door. One less sale. I thought OR was a dog friendly state.
