Picked up some donuts and sausage rolls w/cheese for my kids to kick off spring break. The sausage rolls in the case looked great, but she went and brought some from the back - boxed already. I should have opened it and looked before I left because they were definitely over cooked. The rolls were dark and had parts that were hard to the touch and the sausages looked shriveled. They should have tossed these instead of serving them.
My husband wanted to try a new donut shop, bad idea honey! The taste was not pleasant at all. Maybe old grease I'm not sure, I'm only sure it was not good. It's probably the first time I've ever not finished a donut. But the true kicker was I tossed them outside where my Labrador with a sweet tooth was and she wouldn't eat them. I'm sorry Big Daddy it's a FAIL.
Quality donuts, fresh and fluffy, although some had a heavier greasy taste to them. Recommend over the national chains. Coffee was nothing special, pour your own from a pot.
Best donuts I've had in Burleson hands down!! Although my favorite employee left, I still love to come and get my doughnuts from here. Keep up the good work!

Glaze didn't even stick to the donut. Ordered two cheese sausage rolls and one croissant sausage roll, neither had cheese in them.

My grandson and I visit the two fun , welcoming ladies (Aiden,and I can't remember the other lady's name) every Friday. They are friendly and helpful. We always enjoy our visits . We get delicious donuts and sausage rolls , as well as a dance off between the ladies and my toddler grandson. They are creative with donut decorating, which makes it fun for the kids. ??
I went in this morning and had a great experience! I got an old fashioned chocolate donut, a couple of the croissant piggies, and a single donut hole for my 1-year-old so he could try one. The old fashioned donut was PERFECT! My son loved his first donut and absolutely demolished it. Luckily, the sweet cashier had the good idea to send me with a couple wet wipes which came in very handy! Also, on our way out, she came and opened the door for us since my hands were full.
So, well start with the pros. The shop was clean and the cashier was friendly. But she seemed genuinely confused when I asked for a cinnamon sugar cake donut. She held up something that didn't look like any cinnamon sugar cake donut I'd ever seen (it was glazed, for one), but I took it anyway. I also got a cinnamon twist and a sausage roll, no cheese. When I say these donuts were almost utterly tasteless. The cake donut tasted like basically nothing, and had an awful texture. It just kind of dissolved in
This place has the best donuts hands down. The owners and workers are the sweetest. I live in Iowa now but every time i come back to visit I stop here. If you come through Burleson TX this is a must to stop at. Ill miss your shop. Thank you for the best memories because of your business.
Place looks very nice and the customer service was great but the donuts had an off taste. Not sure if old grease or the dough but taste about the same as the dunkin in town.
Burleson Local Reviewer: I got some jalape?o Kolaches here and they were obviously from the previous day. The sausages were dry and wrinkly the bread was soggy and nasty. There are other donut places with much fresher kolaches around. Do not reccomend.

Big Daddy's used to be great. They've changed hands a couple of times now and while their sausage rolls are still good, their donuts, especially their cake ones are about half the size they used to be. I've gone there for years. Loved their donuts and their donut holes. Not so much now. Very disappointed. Very disappointed!!!!
We love it here! Service is great. We have always been treated well and had our food warmed up for us, if we came in during the later morning hours. Today I tried the spinach and cheese danish, and it was yummy!

Not sure if I went there on an off day, but I had ordered the sausage kolache and donut holes. The sausage wasn't cooked all the way, and the donut holes had a bad taste. I would stay away from this place

The lady who took my order was very friendly, fast and helpful. There was a few customers ahead of me but she git them taken care of fast also.
Have always loved their donuts but recently a change was made to the cinnamon rolls. From what we are hearing, it's all of the donut shops now. They all must be related. Ha! None speak english either. i was told due to cost...BS. anyway your long time awesome cinnamon rolls that are rolled into a circle with cinnamon in the roll creases and topped with a good icing..no longer exists. Now they are using the donut dough...swirling it once maybe twice with a touch of cinnamon and they call that a cinnamon rol
We have three donut places within 1 min from the house but prefer going 15 mins away to get donuts here. Their apple fritters are the best for sure in the Burleson/Joshua area.
People and food are excellent. I pick up donuts for my training sessions, and everyone loves them.
Best place to go in the morning, the employees radiate positivity that frankly should be illegal so early, but it?s great. Food is great too, they will take care of you.

Service non existent.....One employee literally asleep at a table, other in the back, rang bell twice, coughed out loud to make more noise....pretty lousy service for 6:45am on a Sunday morning....went to QT instead......won't waste my time stopping again.
