This place is not much to look at but boy is is good. Its apparently Greenwood's best kept secret because, as a 3year transplant who never goes on the East side of town, I didnt even know it existed! The only reason I found it is because my (previously) normal breakfast place decided it would no longer be open on Mondays. Well, sorry old place! I have a new breakfast stop. Donuts were good, but ordering was a headache. First off the lobby wasn't open and only the drive through-which isn't normally a big deal. But while ordering things off the menu they kept saying some stuff wasn't available, so I asked what was and they said "look at the menu". Not the most helpful. And then they gave the incorrect assortment from what I requested.

This was my first time trying Big Apple amd the donuts were amazing! Super fluffy and delicious! I will definitely be back!

My husband and I were first time customers today. Got an apple fritter to share (it?s that big), one maple donut and a strawberry donut. All three were amazing in flavor. Not greasy at all. A nice little hidden gem in Greenwood. We?ll be back!

My husband and I have eaten here twice in a week. We absolutely loved it. So glad we found this little mom and pops jewel right here in greenwood. The donuts and croissant breakfast sandwiches were amazing. So soft and fresh.

Big Apple Bakery and Restaurant is a Unique Place to get Breakfast and or Brunch . You also have the Options of Many Tasty Sweet Treats for your enjoyment. The croissants were out of this world! Maybe not the best choice going to a doctors visit, considering I probably ingested an entire stick of butter with that soft, delicious croissant.. cream cheese filled doughnut was wonderful hours later, and the kids loved the glazed.

Delicious custom made to order donuts! It's so hard to find a place that does raspberry filling with chocolate frosting but since they fill their donuts to order here they were able to do it.

They are so really nice people, You have to try there Philly Cheese Steak it's unbelievable good, Please don't forget about the donuts made from scratch just go and check them out, I really hate that they closes at 3:00 other than that everything is good.

Employees were very nice and friendly.. I liked that they can fill the donuts with any type of fill you choose yourself.. I hear the Philly Steak and Cheese is awesome.. going back during lunch time to try it...

Lived in Greenwood for 9 months without Krispy Kream. Had to try Big Apple Bakery because the pther only donut Bakery in town i dont like there cakes they tast bland. The donuts here were amazing! Did not disappoint! Service was quick and sales lady was kind. My new favorite donut shop!

I normally go to Shipley's Donuts, but today a friend took me to Big Apple bakery. I will tell you this, I have found a new donut shop. Even at 1pm in the afternoon the donuts were still as fresh as always are at 6am. Perfect amount of indulgence meets carbs. Definitely only go for your cheat day, because the donuts are sinfully out of this world. But a greenwood must foe sure.

Best doughnuts in greenwood. The holes will melt in your mouth. I don't know if anyone remembers B&E doughnuts from years past. They were in the parking lot of Sky City. These remind me of them. Delicious but you need to get there early before they sell out.

We stopped by late yesterday afternoon to check out the bakery. Being so late, they were almost out of everything. But they had 2 apple fritters. They may have been the best apple fritters I have ever eaten. I can't wait to go back earlier in the day and check out the selection.

They have the best donuts in town. I would have given five stars, but do not like not being able to go inside and browse a display case of their products. When there is a line behind you at the drive-thru, you can't take the time to scan the menu for items that you would like to try. Also, their breakfast sandwiches are amazing.

This little bakery has the best croissant breakfast sandwiches! We have also gotten their donuts & they are the best around. Better than any chain donut shop I've been to. & the best thing about this place is their prices! 2 giant breakfast croissants for under $10!! Can't beat it!

I usually do not do reviews but I had to. I saw all the great reviews for this place and was super excited to try it. I ordered a sausage, egg, and cheese croissant and it was absolutely horrible! The croissant was super soggy and the sausage smelled weird and definitely was not cooked all the way. I couldn?t eat it? the donut holes tasted as if they were fried in the same oil as everything else they offer at their restaurant. Extremely disappointed.

I always get the regular plain glazed doughnuts. The bread to icing ratio is perfect. It?s not overly sweet. In my opinion I like them better than Krispy Kreme

Best donuts I have ever tasted! Just discovered their donuts this month, and am already a repeat customer! Love the lemon filled glazed and regular glazed! So fresh and soft! Love that they have a drive-thru, especially during the pandemic!

The donuts are so light and delicious. Dunkin Donuts and Krispy Cr?me doesn?t even come close to them. They are the absolute best donuts I ever had.

I absolutely love Big Apple Bakery! Their doughnuts, croissants, and biscuits are always fresh, cheap, and served fast. When I buy my coworkers doughnuts I get myself a breakfast sandwich to eat on the way in. They could compete with the franchise's like Shipleys on production but have them beat with their recipes and the kind of service you only get at family run small businesses.

I love the set up the staff was friendly and efficient. The menu has various options, from donuts to burgers, and seafood. The location is convenient and parking is great. We also received free donuts for waiting on the server to return our ticket. They also have a drive thru!

I had their new country breakfast, 2 eggs-3 slices of thick bacon-hashbrowns and toast for $3.99. Drink is extra so a great tasting breakfast. I would have liked to had butter not spread and Heinz ketchup. Still I was happy with my breakfast.

The philly cheesesteak sandwich is seriously delish. The bread they serve it in is crusty on the outside and soft in the inside .... so very good. Their donuts are really good, as well. I love that you have a bevy of fillings from which to choose if you want any filled donuts.

Got a late breakfast for me and lunch for my husband. I got an egg/cheese/avocado/meat (chicken was my choice) croissant and my husband got a cheese steak, and we both got fries. The fries were so hot that we got a small blister on our lip. My croissant was hard, dry and has the taste, texture and consistency of cardboard with butter on it. They don't open the doors until 12pm. You can't see what they have bc they are always a limited amount. They are to rude and every time you ask a question they act like you are bothering them. They said they are too busy!! Can you imagine you are to busy to tell me what you actually have bc the list of what you don't have is much bigger. T

Absolutely love the steak and cheese sub. I had the 6 inch combo and I'm so full. The bread it's on is wonderful. Can't wait until next time.

Greasy spoon at best. Food right off sysco truck. Nothing fresh or gourmet! Fries and sweet potato fries were greasy and soggy. Napkin dispensers covered in light layer of grease and crumbs. Bathrooms "outside by drive through window". 2 stars because waitress super nice.

Placed my order yesterday afternoon to pick up this morning,was told that it would be ready at 7:30 this morning. Arrive to pick up 7:45 am they were still not ready. So much for trying to plan a corporate event with this guy.

Easy to find, ample parking, that's the good news, the bad news I'd when I was there the choices of donuts were few, coffee ? very thin, you are in the wrong place if you like medium coffee, let alone strong coffee, junk all over the inside on tables and chairs, do yourself a favor, go to Krispy Kreme

Had the loaded cheesesteak meal and it didn't disappoint hot sammich, veggies with a lil snap and melty cheese on point for quality and price check them out... and from what I can tell donuts must be just as good had 4 people come in for them while i was dining in, but they were out due the fact they close early 3 o'clock...
