Beignets

First time here and I stopped by to have their hot chocolate. I was so impressed by the quality and let?s also say how beautiful it looks ?? this is for sure one of my favorite hot chocolates in New Jersey. I also love the price, it costs $4.50 I didn?t eat anything since I was waiting for my table at a local restaurant but can?t wait to visit again and eat their good-looking beignets

Stan this donut place. Have been coming since they opened. Don't live in the area anymore & still come up here once & a while. Never been disappointed in anything I have had. Love the variety, love the made-to-order aspect. Peach Cobbler donut is my favorite.

Professional Custom donuts. Don?t let the small shop fool you. It?s not hat big on the inside maybe a few tables but they have everything to make the freshest gourmet donuts. I got a couple dozen made for a party and it was exactly what we wanted. They were made fresh ride before we picked them up and on time. I will defiantly like to go back and try some other flavors as they all sound delicious.

We drove 40 minutes to try out these donuts, and they did not disappoint. We bought a lot of different ones to try and they lasted very well in a sealed plastic container. If you had to twist my arm, I'd say the lemon and the peanut butter and jelly were my favorites. The next time we go, I have to try one of the specialty coffees. Everyone was so welcoming.

Okay. We didn't expect anything much because we just walked by but we stopped and ordered 4 donuts. They came out HOT FRESHLY Home MADE!! I am extremely impressed with the delicious hot fresh donut taste. I will have to say as someone from NYC and I have tried so many donuts in my life. This little local nowhere donut shop has got the best donuts I ever had. I am definitely going back to try all the favors. Also, the staff there was super nice and friendly. It's ++++5 stars!!!

The donut was really warm and fresh, was very hard to resist and I had it in the store itself. I had the pumpkin spice latte with almond milk - gave me some good caffeine kick! The staff is very friendly and accommodating. It?s a cute cafe with limited seating inside and outside, located on the Main Street with nice vibes.

A really terrific store with menu items prepared for you on the spot from beignets, to donuts to hot chocolate, to gelato. Their staff is super-friendly and skilled in fast, efficient service felt happy and wekcome. Big thumbs up here, can't wait to go back!

I love beignets and it is so hard to find in NJ so I had to try this location. When I arrived I parked on the street nearby. I walked in and was greeted. The nice yound lady explained how the pricing works. I went with the 2 beignets (1 cinnamon and one powder) and 1 peanut butter and chocolate donut. I paid about $6 and left. When I tried the beignets they were good. I didn't expect them to be so big, so 2 were very filling. I had a good experience and would return.

We were in the area and saw this cute little coffee shop. Checked reviews on Yelp (yes we do that no matter how cute it looks from outside, been there and deceived) and decided to try. Today I found out what a ?Beignet? is. My wife knew how to pronounce it because she has been to France ????. I thought it would be like a bagel... I was glad I was wrong! Very nice place and the beignets were great, but the donuts and latte were very bland. The s?mores latte tasted nothing like s?mores and was basically a cup of warm milk and the cookie butter donut just tasted like a plain vanilla donut.

Wow! Have you ever had a hot, freshly made to order donut?! If you haven?t you need to come to Beignets. Their donuts are warm and delicious consisting of a light, fluffy dough topped with fruit, icing, etc. And the Beignets! You don?t need to go to New Orleans. They make them fresh when you order them. The come out hot, so that the powdered sugar melts slightly when they sprinkle it on. This is such a unique experience. We bring out of town guests here.

Highly recommend getting the beignets with powdered sugar here. We were craving them after our trip to New Orleans recently and this definitely hit the spot! Staff is friendly and the beignets themselves were as good, if not better than the ones we had in New Orleans!

I've had beignets in New Orleans, but they just didn't hit (maybe i didn't go to the right place?). The Beignets here are DELICIOUS and FRESH. We got cinnamon sugar ones. The donuts are literally the best donuts i've ever had. So fresh, crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. This is my go-to place for donuts now, and i'm glad it's local to Denville. I may also come back for coffee here as the shop was cozy and had a good selection.

Stopped by today, first time customer, thought the name of the place seemed cool because it reminded me of having a beignet in New Orleans but after ordering I regretted coming here. Little doughnut shop in downtown Denville. Nice assortment and everything is made fresh to order so your doughnuts are always hot. The only thing preventing a 5 star rating is sometimes (like today) the oil seemed off and gave a funky background taste.

Came to try this place for a family birthday and the atmosphere was nice, the ladies working there were too but the doughnuts were tasteless. We got the "Most popular" items. I wasn't impressed at all. All 4 types of doughnuts just tasted like it was only the dough and nothing else. This place won't likely survive..I'm sorry..

Placed an order for pick up and it wasn't ready when I got there, which was five minutes after the pick up time. The Iced Toffee Latte was basically chocolate milk and I threw it out, literally a cup of ice with milk and chocolate syrup on the bottom. Don't bother wasting your money.

I visited Beignets with the intention of trying their matcha. From my understanding, matcha should be green and have an earthy, grassy taste. However, what I received was the palest matcha I?ve ever seen in my life. It was essentially milk with a touch of green. A nice idea for a shop. I absolutely love lemon, so I was sold as soon as I saw "Lemon Pucker" on the menu. However it left me wondering where the lemon flavor was. Although very fresh and fluffy, not impressed. The bakery box a nice idea. Coffee only lukewarm.

Helene at Beignets was absolutely phenomenal to work with for our wedding favors! She was responsive and just a pleasure. She offered to customize the donuts any way we wanted. After placing our large order, they gave us a dozen complimentary donuts. We ordered 225 donuts from her and dropped off the box labels which she placed on each individual donut box. Have to echo Crystal's review from a year ago. The donuts are delicious, but we were struck by how unengaging they were behind the counter. I wouldn't say 1 star by any means, but when you're picking up a sweet treat, you don't want to be distracted by how dismissive the staff are. It's a customer facing role... please don't do that job if you don't like speaking to people. Every other bakery or dessert place is happy to have the business. That's the standard, at least be SEMI engaging.

I bought three orders of beignets the other day and was charged $17. That's steep for some fried dough. BUT if money is no issue, order away, their food is very delicious. I would give more stars, but the staff could be a bit more friendly.

This place is awesome! They make all their donuts fresh for you upon request and the prices are extremely fair. I came in here on Easter for a coffee and donut with the fiance before we went to an Easter brunch with family, so I would imagine it's probably a lot more crowded on weekends. And donuts aren't the only thing they do- I even saw a special on ravioli filled with cannoli cream. Definitely coming back here soon.

They were extremely busy, yet the service was amazing. The donuts were out of this world. This was our first visit. So they put together a dozen for us. WOW! Every one of them was scrumptious! We don't usually eat lemon flavored treats, but even that one was eaten. I would 100% recommend these. My 14 year old will never ask for DD again.

Really, really good. Perfect level of crisp, topping amount was just right - not too much, not too little. Size was really nice, too. A little smaller than standard, which given the toppings, makes them just right and not too much. Store is small, but there is seating even on a Sunday morning. Solid A.

I arrived at 11 AM, just before the lunch rush. I ordered 12 donuts, and they were made to order! The donuts are delicious, but just make sure to eat them right after they?re made. Otherwise, they get a little bit soggy and stale after a day.

My honey and I were passing through on a road trip from Cali and stopped here looking for coffee. We not only found great coffee (he had an affogato and I had a toffee latte), but the hot, fresh donuts and beignets are indescribably delicious! The beignets were perfectly done with a slightly crisp exterior and tender, buttery, pillowy interior. The donut was a freshly fried cake donut and as such I thought it would be heavy and doughy. Not so! It was also light and airy with a crisp exterior. Flawless!!

Just amazing. The best donuts ever

This place is great for their warm donuts! I actually have never had the beignets, but the donuts are delicious! They're made to order, so it takes a few minutes. But it's worth the wait. Then inside is pretty basic, with a counter for seating, and a few tables inside. In the summer, there are tables outside, as well.

This is my favorite place to go on the weekend. The homemade donuts are ridiculously good. Coffee drinks are great too. The employees are super nice! I love it. They off pick up during lockdown and everything is as delicious as ever!

I stopped in between errands in Denville last night 12/20 for a quick pick me up. I ordered a hot chocolate and a donut..since I wasn't sure what I wanted I asked for a recommendation. I was presented with an apple crumb donut and it was one of the best donuts I have ever had...it was served warm and even though it practically melted in my mouth there was a crunch on the crust. I am extremely picky with food, but the donuts here are great. There are many donut places where I feel as though all of the donuts taste the same even though they are supposed to be different flavors, or are mediocre. This place?s donuts are delicious, and I love that they are made in front of you.

Beignets is a small snack store in the middle of a shopping area. The beignets were decent, although a little undercooked. The coffee was good, but doesn't stand out on its own. The service was friendly and the store seemed clean although its best days might be behind it. The pricing seemed fair for what it is. I don't recommend taking this for a drive as the powdered sugar is very messy. Not bad overall but also not exceptional.

Delicious homemade donuts in the center of town. Seating is limited, but a box of Beignets make a great hostess gift when you are short on ideas. A great place to come in the spring and summertime, when the patio seating is available. Flavors are fresh and creative.
