It?s a chill donut place in Milford/ Franklin area. I haven?t seen any other specialized donut shops around here. I believe the closest one is the duck donuts in Walpole. The selection is not overwhelming here. I tried the honey glazed and the chocolate cake. The chocolate cake was really good. Basically a darn good chocolate cake with a sugar glaze. The honey glazed was good. But I felt it was bit too sweet. Well that?s me. Someone else might like it. Anyway this is a good place and I?ll be back.

I don't usually like donuts, but I love Basic Batch Donuts. I usually find donuts too sweet, but the yeasted donuts combined with the variety of toppings (and sometimes fillings) at Basic Batch is so good! My son wanted a donut cake for his birthday and the team at Basic Batch did not disappoint! We were able to customize everything (frosting color, sprinkle color, etc) and pick-up was hassle free. Stopped by Basic Batch Donuts on a mid Saturday morning. It?s wasn?t very busy, staff was friendly, and I was able to place my order quickly. I had the honey glazed and chocolate glazed donuts. They were a bit expensive ($7.97 for both) and I wasn?t impressed. The cake was a quite dry and not very flavorful. I had 1 bite of each donut and that was enough. This is my 3rd time going (I live kind of far from it) but they always have a good variety of donuts and they are always fresh. Such a wonderful place! I love that it's dog friendly and the staff was so incredibly pleasant and informative on my first visit. It was worth the drive and I'll definitely visit again.
