If my taste buds could talk ?? ?? mmmm this place is not just a treat, but the staff is awesome, donuts are stellar and such a nice size. Brennan made sure we were taken care of! Thank you for having old fashioned and bars and lovely happy staff. Donuts ?? x 12 for days. Get a box to believe!

The quality of these donuts are laughable. This is an apple fritter and a round glazed. Not great. Oh and they also didn?t include part of my order. So there?s that. What a joke. Don?t waste your time or money here.

Banbury Cross Donuts usually are the go to. Just do not plan to go there on National Donut Day. They don't have anything special, no deals, and nothing extra they offer for the one day a year when donuts truly matter most. Such a let down.

The Salt Lake location was always the best place in the valley for donuts. I was excited when they expanded to additional locations, including close to home in Layton. Unfortunately, they?ve gone progressively downhill since they?ve opened here. Huge huge fan. The fact that their donuts are all "caged" clues me into the fact that they handle all of them individually and put care into the quality. I go weekly and have never been disappointed. Staff is terrific, too. Highly recommended for either the vanilla cake donut or the blueberry old fashioned.

Every time I bring my kids for morning donuts the employees seem so bothered that they have to help customers. The service industry can be so draining especially if wages are low but the vibe is so starkly different from somewhere fun and pleasant like In-N-Out. The donuts are great. Ordered a dozen doughnuts and am very pleased. My kids are loving these! They actually have a very nice texture. Cheaper than Krispy Kreme and leagues better in quality and especially service. 7/6/24 @ 11:20am First time here. Walked in to what l felt like an old vintage donut shop. Super cute. I was instantly greeted by Brennan. He was knowledgeable on each donut and described taste, textures, and density. He made fantastic recommendations. We went with a 1/2 dozen donuts and their bottled chocolate milk. These donuts were delish!! Moist, fresh, and cooked to perfection! We will be back!

Banbury does so many things right. They have an amazing base dough for both and raised donuts - all you need to do is get a glazed and you can tell that the rest of the donuts will be good. I was disappointed in the freshness of the donuts. I went in the midmorning to get donuts for a friend's birthday, and got extras for my family. When we ate ours, they were dry, obviously not made that morning. When I go their facility, I expect them to be fresh; otherwise, I would just buy them at a grocery store.

Pretty average donut shop. They do run out of donuts so you have more options if you go earlier in the day. We did like the cinnamon crunch donut and the cronut (croissant donut - square with hole in the center) - it was flaky and pretty good. We heard the cinnamon rolls are amazing but they weren't available either of the two times we went (one day we went at noon and they were sold out - the other day we went early and they weren't finished being made). My cousins brought over some Banbury Cross Donuts to a party and I liked it so much that I went to buy my own. To my surprise they gave me my order on the house. The donuts are absolutely delicious and I've fallen in love with their blueberry cake donut. 10/10

Definitely some of the best donuts around. I tried their croissant-donut croissnut. It was really good. I'm coming back for one of those soon for sure. Unfortunately it was late in the day and they were out of chocolate cake donuts, because those are my favorite. So much better than dunford. But what they had was yummy.

I found a thread in my donut. Not a hair, a full on thread. It might have been an accident, but it grossed me out. I really am starting to question their food safety atmosphere now. Love your shop and your employees but the last couple of times I?ve come the doughnuts haven?t been up to par and are dry and don?t taste like they did when you first opened. A couple times I?ve had my order take in the drive through and have been given the wrong thing but the receipt shows the correct order.

Got an assorted dozen and asked for a verity of favorites and got 4 of them being blue berry glazed sprinkled, 3 of them blue berry glazed and 2 being strawberry glazed. Definitely not an assortment.. might be my fault for not getting a custom dozen. But figured I could trust them to get me a good assorted dozen.

They have delicious donuts! I prefer these over KK or most others. I only took off a star because I ordered 3 dozen raised rounds for my daughter's birthday and they substituted some of the chocolate rounds for chocolate bars without telling me. There were supposed to be half dozen chocolate with sprinkles and half dozen plain chocolate but we didn't get any with sprinkles and only 3 of them were the rounds the rest were bars. I wanted all rounds so nobody fought over who got the bars since they are bigger.

I walked in and was met with the lovely smell of donuts. This was an amazing old school feel donut shop that blew me away. We ordered online and went in to pick up our order. We were then told that they don?t do online orders and they didn?t seem all that helpful. If you don?t do online orders CHANGE YOUR WEBSITE!!! It still allows online ordering. We also didn?t get half the doughnuts we wanted and had to wait for them to help other people. I ordered curbside delivery for national donut day. When I checked in I got a message saying my order would be right out, after 15 minutes of waiting, I finally went in to pick up my order. They have that oily but yummy dough, just the right amount of crispy to soft ratio; toppings/fillings are generous, and the flavors are all there! My husband and I needed to cancel an online order and they were very understanding and accommodating. Every single experience has been nothing but good because the people are warm, friendly and attentive. The donuts and other items are simply the BEST!!! This is a quiet little donut shop. There?s a good selection of classic donuts. The glazed was light and fluffy, it could use a fraction more glaze on it. But it was a great donut nonetheless. 8.8/10. Staff and products are great, but it's off the main drag so leaving is a bit of a hassle. Parking is also a bit scary as you leave since people are coming off the main street at high speeds.

But just since January we've tried to go four times between 8 and 9:30 am each time and they've been sold out of everything except for a few donut types (their least popular) so we've just left. I love Banbury Cross Donuts, always have. But this location has the worst donuts. I've been here twice now (at the Layton location) and both times now, the donuts just taste like burnt oil. Maybe they dont replace their oil regularly or they are using it at too high of a tempature. There aren't too many donut places in Layton and this place should be packed, but it never is. I won't be surprised if this location closes down in the very near future due to lack of sales. Stick with the one downtown Salt Lake

The Donuts taste great but at 8:45 this morning they had very little selection and this is the second time. We tried to go last month and get a dozen all they had was plain glazed. The employees just look at you like what do you expect. I expect a donut/ Breakfast place to have actual product in stock. If their business plan is to drive customers to competitors. We went near closing time, so I was not expecting fresh donuts, but they were considerably good for sitting out all day. However, the service was terrible. We walked in 30 minutes before they closed, and all of the display cases were wiped out l, and we were not acknowledged by either of the two workers at the front counter. The best donuts for sure! Thank you for coming to Layton because KK down the road doesn't even compare. By the way my late husband loved Banbury Cross in Salt Lake growing up. If he'd have known just a few years later that we would have a Banbury Cross within walking distance from our home! Knowing him and always up at the crack of dawn, we probably would have had donuts in the morning waiting for us on the weekends. So we now enjoy them once in awhile for him.

This was my first time going to this location. To say I?m underwhelmed would be an understatement. While the donuts were amazing, the staff was not. We have been to this location 3 times to make an informed review, and each time at 7 am 8 am and 9 am we have received what were clearly day old and straight from the fridge donuts. They're not quite there. The donuts at this location are often overcooked and drier than those at Centerville or SLC. Different textures that aren't as good or meet the consistency and quality. Service is also hit or miss. I've had friendly and attentive service but I've also had employees chatting and ignoring customers until someone got impatient. I've had one lost order and another one mixed up with someone else's.

Banbury always has a good variety and fresh donuts when I go in. I just wish they had blueberry donuts more often. I prefer a blueberry cake donut but Banbury blueberry donuts aren?t.
