we visited one sunday morning, not sure what to expect. it was small and had that traditional, hometownish feel to it. the donut selection looked amazing and it was very clean. we ordered two breakfast sandwiches and a couple donuts, came out to under $25. i will definitely return.

I ordered a batch of mixed. I live in NY, sending my dad donuts back in Sac, he just got out of the hospital & he loves donuts. These people are so unprofessional. I called and asked, make it right and all they did was hang up on me

Small family owned shop with very unique donuts. I can only give a 5 star rating for the hard work being put into the donuts and to keep a business thriving regardless of the area. The bathrooms and surrounding areas are extremely unclean and homeless people often beg for food in the front, however that is expected given the location. Truly a hidden gem! ??

I wanted to write a positive review for this donut shop as I knew it was a family owned business and i love small family owned business but I feel very cheated. I did an online order, I order the mixed docen for $15.99. I order 2 donuts that were not listed as the accessories, so whenI got there to pick them up and I knew I was going to pay extra, I didn't have a problem with that. I was charged an additional $6 when the donuts are individually $2 (fruity pebbles) . How did it pay more for 2 extra donuts

I had a very uncomfortable experience at Bakers Donuts. While working nearby, one of the staff members (or possibly a regular) kept staring at me in a way that felt intimidating. It made me feel really uneasy and unwelcome. I can't recommend this place based on that experience. If you're looking for good donuts and a friendly atmosphere, I highly recommend Krispy Kreme just a few feet away. Their selection of donuts is amazing, and the staff is always kind and welcoming. The donuts here are delicious. However, there was an older lady who worked there, and she was rude when taking my order, seeming to have an attitude when I specified what donuts I wanted. I said "thank you" when taking my donuts and she didn't respond. She also got part of my order wrong. Don't let the old building fool you. This is a gem. And if you're a local, you know all about Baker's. The owners are always so kind and chat with the kids when we come in. The drive thru is definitely handy but they don't have the whole menu posted so if you want to see all their fun creations- go inside! And they're open later than any other donut shop I know of, in case you get a craving later in the day.

This is why I always come back here. Greeted politely and was given some donut holes with my order. They tasted so good I ate 2 donut holes already before I took the picture haha. Incredibly sweet lady operating the store when I went here. Called at 5pm to make sure there were still enough donuts to have a selection and they were fully stocked; she was so nice (fresh donuts, unexpectedly stellar and generous service) and deserves the world. I've been a Marie's donuts fan for almost 40 years. Bakers Donuts may have won my heart over. Multiple recent visits and each time the donuts were incredibly tasty, airy and not at all oily.

This is my go to donut place, the donuts are great and I'm all for supporting small businesses but the tipping is outrageous here! I get everyone is struggling hence I wanted to tip but I was unaware that the starting tip is 40%. This a learning experience to pay attention to the tipping amount. I'm not made out of money, just my opinion but a minimum of a 40% tip is a lot.

The bacon maple doughnuts are mine I call dibbs ! Ever doughnut I have ever gotten here has been a hit with my friend & family & co-workers. The ham and cheese croissants and specialty doughnuts are amazing every chance I get to come here or eat from here has been amazingly wonderful.

I always visit when in Sacramento. This is such a good hole in the wall type of spot. Donuts are always fresh and consistent quality. I love the plain glaze but they have so many fun flavors and even Gunthers ice cream for donut sandwiches. Best in Sacramento. They are a little pricey I never get a dozen under 30$ but your supporting small business and their Donuts are worth it.

Craving donuts at 12:30 in the afternoon, I Google donuts, and this place is in the same parking lot as I am. It's clean inside the shop. Nothing fancy, but I don't care for fancy donuts. They have what most people would order. I myself picked a glazed old fashioned and a maple bar. They don't skimp on the glaze and I could tell they make the glaze there in the shop. The old fashioned was very vanilla. And the maple bar was still so soft and fresh. I will definitely be back.

Bakers has been around forever. I remember going here when I was still in high school. They never have let me down. Donuts are always great. I will always go to them if I'm in the area and want my donut fix.

My choice of donut is yellow cake chocolate icing. At $1.50 this donut is not a choice especially when all your chocolate is soft and ends up in the bag..They could has told me or asked would this be ok..so yea I am so disappointed, mind you this 3rd time, I kept trying sometimes it perfect, sometimes it's a quick fix to make a sell maybe..it's over..this pushed me away from this shop that's closer to me..now i will travel donut shop on folsom blvd..

Never have crumb donuts or crumb cinnamon rolls. They haven't made them yet or they ran out already I wouldn't be complaining so much if they weren't so good maybe they should make a little bit more we like the crumb donuts and cinnamon rolls make more. Be good to your customers

The donuts were so greasy. I will never get donuts from there again. They're greasy and just dont have the right consistency for donuts. I want to take them back for a refund but I don't want to insult them in person. Update: I brought them back in and the lady thought she she could pull the wool over my eyes and refund me $1.15 vs the $4 I paid. Horrible customer service and horribly greasy, nonfluffy donuts. I love this place. It?s right next to krispy Kream but I promise it?s so much better. And cheaper. And open 24 hours. And has a drive thru that?s also open 24 hours. Tip! If you?re going late night, you have to honk your horn or ring a bell to get the employees attention. There?s a little sign that tells you this but just a heads up in case you don?t see the sign immediately.
