This classic donut shop opened recently and is awesome. I tried the chocolate log with custard, and the custard tasted different than other places. Rather than haphazardly squirting some custard in, they cut the back of the donut and added a whole layer of custard so the donut was extremely full. I hate when parts of the donut are dry and random pockets full, so I love this detail. I have been going to the donut shop since I was a little kid! They have absolutely the best donuts and also such great service. I love that it?s a small, family owned business. Now I live abroad and whenever I come home to visit my parents I?m sure to stop by one day to get some donuts. So so delicious and fresh always!
We tried the other donut place about a week ago. I liked it, but my husband wasn't a fan and wanted to try another place. His co-worker recommended this place and I have to say, it's amazing! My husband and I are 100% hooked after just one visit. The donuts were very delicious and fresh. The place is a bit small, but there?s a pretty decent selection of donuts and service was friendly.

My favorite donut shop in town! They always have a wide variety to choose from, but my favorite is the chocolate with custard inside. No skimping on the custard either, it's always a generous helping. Their regular glazed donuts are AMAZING, especially when they're warm from the oven! I usually get their dozen donut holes for $1.25 and split with my dad. Always friendly and great prices. I've been here multiple times and I've got to say what's even better than their donuts is their customer service. Every single staff member I've interacted with is just soooo happy and nice and it feels really nice to smile with other people when I visit, and to be genuinely greeted. I'm always happy leaving this place and the donuts are fresh and yummy ??
Great place been going here since we moved to Folsom in 95, love the doughnuts and the personable of the owners. They just rearranged the shop and it looks good very open and brighter.
I was so excited to find that they were open Christmas Day and had such a wide selection available (would totally have understood if they kept the selection limited, but there was so much to choose from). Everything was delicious and fresh. Between 3 adults and 3 kids, we devoured 9 of the 12 donuts. Donuts were just as good the next day for breakfast! Spent just over $20 for the dozen.
Someone at the gym told me to stop by Baker?s Dozen for donuts, that it was both local, and Vet owned, both of which I?m very happy to support. I am very particular about donut quality, but they knocked it out of the park! Old fashion had a great crunch, glazed were not too sweet, good flakiness on the glaze, and the dough had the perfect texture. The assortment of donuts was fantastic, the ladies working the counter were very pleasant. Definitely worth a trip!

We enjoy sampling Apple Fritters as we travel. We?ve stopped at many a bake shops to try their fritter. In our opinion there is not one as good as Baker?s Dozen Donuts. In Folsom. Thank you for the continued goodness of your fritters.
I used buy a lot of donuts; mostly for hard working people, clients and friends. And I?ve been very fortunate to be been able travel and while there are many great donut shops... there are none, (zero) better.!!! Do yourself a favor, next.time your driving by, stop and see for yourself. My favorite is the double chocolate angels food?-bottom left in the display case. Just the right amount of crunch!! Best owner and team too!
Extremely professional and prompt service. Didn't know that was missing from my life. The donuts are always very fresh and among the least oily I can recall. I like getting their breakfast croissant as well. I stopped drinking coffee or I would get that as well. They have cronuts!
Best chocolate bar out of the 4 or 5 places I've tried in the area. I say it's the best because they nailed the chocolate, it's a good fudgy chocolate. The maple would be better if they could make it a more thick fudgy consistency like the chocolate so it doesn't crumble. Excellent selection of donuts as well, I just love their chocolate bars.
This is my favorite donut shop in Folsom. It's small, family-owned, decent priced, and the people that work here are always so friendly. They'll even throw some donut holes in for us when they see that I've got my kid with me. I like that they aren't one of those wanna-be-fancy donut places where they have crazy toppings and fillings, just simple donuts done to perfection. The typical, California-style, pink box donut shop. I love it!
Went with a group for my kiddo's birthday morning and everyone working the counter was SO sweet to us and patient with the kiddos. The inside area is very narrow in front of their display case & counter/register, and the seating area is closed off, just heads up in case that matters. There were 3 or so tables right outside though available for use!
Best donuts in Folsom. Been going here for years. They are always grateful for your patronage of their business and the donuts are always fresh. Great variety and they have some beverages there as well. Sometimes I find some extra donut holes in the box.
They may have some of the best donuts, but definitely their hot chocolate is one of the worst. Today we got hot chocolate for a volunteer based event and their hot chocolate was very thick with no milk flavor and appeared to have a thickening gum like xanthum. No one wanted to drink. Each cup was priced around ~$3. Waste of money!
Yep. Lives up to the hype. Darling owners/staff who greet you with smiles and begging to help. Throwing in a half dozen free donut holes and the most gorgeous maple bars and chocolate donuts. The glazed raised looks like a magazine cover photo.
Love their French donuts. Not all places make them. If you want a chocolate overload get their Chocolate Twist with chocolate glaze and mini chocolate chips packed on top. You will need a couple more workouts to work off the calories.
Best donut shop anywhere to be found! Great selection, and always fresh! From chocolate bars, maple bars, to the apple fritters. They are all so yummy! The owner is very friendly and has great customer service!
The consistent 5 star ratings are no accident! Good selection, great quality regardless of what you pick ( I love apple fritters and maple bars), and the prices are good too. You may have one or two people ahead of you in line but the service is quick so no worries.
Fresh, airy, and crisp. Very nice donuts. Not overly sweet and they have a good variety. They don't get quite the notoriety of BJ Cinnamon, but I'd say they are just as good.
They have the BEST donuts in Folsom! Always have. I have been going there for 20 years and have on occasion tried others but keep going back to bakers dozen.
So, I walk in and the guy behind the counter didn't really say anything to me. Then I order 3 donuts and I milk, it was 6.10, which is just way too much for donuts, especially at the quality they had, the maple icing in their malpe donuts was yellow, the bacon on their bacon donut tasted like the bacon dog treats, and I think the custard they used was slightly curdled icouldn't even finish it. Overall it was a bad experience, the donut shop in Rosemont on Keifer blvd is so much better, and worth the drive.

Great mom and pop shop. Quick, clean and friendly staff. This is my first time here and this will probably be my go-to place for my daughter and I's, traditional Saturday morning donut outing. Oh, and the donuts are great too.
