Ashley's Ice Cream Cafe

Visiting from out of state. Attendendant at counter was happy to suggest her favorite ice creams. Several good flavors. Also had the butterscotch shake. Also very good. I custom ordered a sundae, she made it with no complaints, and had a suggestion for the best way to eat it. Any business where employees love their work is a good business

Beautiful place, great for a pleasant afternoon. The tables have puzzles for you to play, a small play area for smaller kids, games and puzzles for sale and good coffee also.

Tried the new location. Staff was very friendly and I asked lots of questions. I love that there's a large space if a large group of us want to come in. It's also nice they have so many puzzles open on the tables for a nice activity to go do during winter. They have a small area for kids with Legos and trains. Went with my 2 kids and was able to just sit for a couple hours and get some work done.

Really good ice cream! I prefer the mikeshakes! They have great signature ice cream combinations, they have games you can play, it's a great environment. I do wish they also sold fresh smoothies

Super fun place! Great selection of flavors at reasonable prices! The vegan strawberry swirl is amazing The vegan birthday cake tasted like it had too much extract in it, but that isn't a shop issue. Really fun place to visit.

Overall really nice place. I really love that they have a dairy alternative. I have been to alot of ice cream shops and the closest I been to an alternative is either sherbet or water-ice. Should check definitely checkout if you are in the area! I think overall it's a solid place.

This is a great place to have ice cream, play games, or observe the aesthetics of a historical building. It?s a really cool building. The people are friendly. The ice cream and donuts are delicious. I am a frequent customer and recommend this place to anyone in the area.

I walked in with two kids just minutes before 6:30. I had checked hours on Maps and they are listed at 8/9pm Tuesday-Thursday, but they had a sign on the door that I missed stating that closing is actually 6:30pm Tuesday-Thursday. I felt so bad for the guy behind the counter, but JoRel was so kind, patient, and accommodating. Stopped in a couple weeks ago for the first time & so happy we did! I believe we dealt with the owner when we were there, he was so knowledgeable about everything. Went for the first time. It was after they moved venues. Went for Coffee. The affagato was ok, the espresso was weak, but the ice cream was fine; so enjoyable enough, but I wouldn't do it again. This was the most beautiful ice cream cafe I have ever been in! It's in an old bank lobby, which has been restored to its' original splendor. The idea to add games and puzzles? Brilliant!

Tried Ashley's for our first time yesterday Saturday Feb 24, 2024. I order just regular vanilla without any topping because I wanted taste nothing but the ice cream and the texture. At least I can cross you off my bucket list. Will not be returning. I can buy better tasting, and, much more creamer ice cream in a box in any grocery store. Jim L.

LOVE. THIS. PLACE. beautiful BEAUTIFUL building. it was a wonderful place to just look at. the girls who were making our icecream were talking about what we can order and how we can order it. my milkshake was absolute fire. i loved how there was an entire section dedicated to puzzles. it can get pricey but the experience is worth it.

Staff is always friendly and they offer dairy free choices.

I was not happy with my service this evening at all. When I first came in I had to wait for the girl to get off her persinal phone call to take my order. I had to repeat my order twice to her due to her not giving her full attention. After paying, I only received half of my order. I stood up at the counter and waited for someone to come out of the back so I could ask them about my order, but instead both employees walked right passed me and started to help other customers and take their orders. Wow, finally got to try this place. The ice cream was great and the sundaes were outstanding. Definitely worth visiting.

1st time here and the ice cream was amazing! I highly recommend the flavor called, "This Just Got Serious" and if you're a coffee person, ask for the "Fire and Ice" with vanilla ice cream. You won't be disappointed. And the old bank interior is breathtaking. Highly recommended!

We enjoy Ashley's quite a bit! It's fun to see how they've evolved since opening, with adding coffee and tea, donuts, sundaes, and different types of ice cream. The environment is so cool with the design of the building, and we appreciate there being an area for kids to play. Service has also been great each visit!

I was very happy with service at Ashley's. My son wanted to try the escape room for his birthday, and he and his friends had a fantastic time. We had some excellent ice cream and enjoyed hanging out afterwards. I managed to forget my credit card there, and the owner very circumspectfully found me on Facebook and suggested I come in. She even gave me a suggestion for a restaurant for a date night with my wife! I look forward to many years of returning.

One of the most unique and amazing ice cream places we've ever visited. The owner was extremely pleasant and his recommendations were spot on and we absolutely enjoyed those choices. We will certainly be revisiting this establishment everytime we visit Marion!

Holy Cow!!!!!! We got the Holy Cow sundae and I have to say it was the most delicious strawberry sundae! The ice cream was outstanding, lots of strawberries, on top of a donut!!! What more could a girl ask for?! We love going to Ashley?s as a family and enjoying many kinds of ice cream, coffee, and sitting down playing games together. So much fun there!!

Great place. Has been converted from an old bank, is all marble. Have a wide selection of puzzles to purchase Had an cookies and cream shake, was perfect.

It is very delicious! The only problem I have was that it took a while for my dad?s shake to be ready. Other than that, I would highly suggest this ice cream shop and will stop again since I am going to Indiana Weslyan

I liked it a lot I know the idea of what they're trying to do bringing back old whatever I'm trying to say however it's don't feel like it's going well because it's known as a bank it'll always be known as a bank and he's got an ice cream shop in the middle of a bank with nothing else around yet it will get better I'm sure but as for now still kind of waiting

Walked in the door and got hit in the face with a strong mold smell. It was so bad that I walked right back out. This can't be healthy eating in this establishment. Healthy depth needs called asap.
