Been coming here for 20 years and still have to get it every time I come in town. The recipes of the original donuts have changed but it?s still better than most donut shops in the area.
I have gone here since I was in middle school. And I took my gf for the first time ever, and she is obsessed, the donuts are always fresh and soft, sausage rolls have the best flavor and as long as you get there early there are a ton of options as far as donuts go! (Before 10 am) they do sell out fast, so be an early bird.

Absolutely delicious! I've lived in this area my whole life and even ate at the original Archie's accross the street. I see some reviews comparing the old w/the new and that's not fair. I really like this place. I go in there quite often. The owners are the most friendly people I've ever met and they care. My favorite is their sausage patties... yummmm. Give them a try!

This is a small shop run by a sweet Korean couple. They had a unique item. A large sausage patty with breading wrapped around the middle. I purchased glazed donuts & sausage rolls (sausage rolls actually offered in 3 sizes). The shop appeared clean & the couple pleasant & helpful. Would recommend.
They have a great selection of donuts and other breakfast food. Highly recommend the spinach and feta! You won't be disappointed if you try this place.
The donuts are perfection, the best around in my opinion. I have been to quite a few donut shops and none compared. They also have cold drinks, coffee, donut holes and quick breakfast options. Archie's is always my first option, skip Krispy Kreme and try Archie's, you won't regret it.
We LOVE Archie?s! I have brought them to the office, to family gatherings, birthday parties, tailgating! We are big (HUGE) fans! So thankful they are so close to my neighborhood too but even if they weren?t I?d drive MILES to get their fresh pastries! ??????

My sausage roll. My strawberry cheese Danish was good. My coke was good. Bit 3 items for $9.06 is way to much. There are cheaper donuts out there.
Full disclosure for my four stars, I am not a big doughnut guy. However, I had heard great things about this place so I stopped by here a couple weeks ago. Good doughnuts for sure, but they did not stand out from most other doughnuts I have had from other businesses in the area.
Well made donuts, love the croissants wrapped in bacon. Lots of variety,and great service. I spent a little too much, but just couldn't help myself. So much to try it's hard to just pick one.
I'm 66 and I have been going to Archie's since my teens. True, they have changed hands and the donuts didn't quite seem the same. But they have changed them back to the old taste and glass. Keep up the best tasting donuts around and i'll be back for more.

I?ve gone to Archie?s for over 40 years. The recipe for glazed and chocolate donuts has been the same through any ownership changes through all the years. The last ownership change has changed the recipes and now they?re like any other random donut shop. Ownership changed 8 months ago, per the man who filled my order today (9/15/2019). Mini donuts are the best. Drove over, about a 45 min drive, one day when the kids were off from school. It is hard to see from the road. If I hadn't looked at photos on line before we left, I'm not sure I would have spotted it. Lady was very sweet as the kids were disappointed after the long drive that they only had 6 mini donuts left :( We will come back, but not knowing if they will have what we want after a long drive, it won't be that often. I grew up on Archie's I even worked there as a teenager. Yes it has changed owners a few times but each owner still kept the original Archie's reputation. It breaks my heart to say that the owners have ruined the Archie's name. I went this morning to give one last chance and I will never go again!! They have raised the prices!! There were flies in the donut display. NO HOT GLAZED! And worst of all when when I began to complain about the price and how I'd never would come back the employee didn't care at all
This place is still around and the donuts taste as delicious as they did back in the 1980s and '90s.
My favorite Donut shop in Texas, truly! Fresh donuts and kolaches, hot coffee, and a staff that truly cares for each guest. I can not recommend Archie?s more highly!
I have been to every donut shop in the NRH area. This is the best by far, the donuts and Kolaches are fresh, plus the customer service is great. I would definitely recommend coming here.
A family owned business keeping us locals sweet! Cutest mini donuts. Our only stopping place for donuts when we visit family over this way before 1pm. We definitely enjoy these doughnuts and the family feel. Great attitude and smiles with a sweet send off. Family faves are Apple fritters, cinnamon rolls, custard filled doughnuts, and the glazed doughnuts with chopped nuts over chocolate icing... Ok, just about every choice.
I've been coming to Archie's since I was a little kid. We'd always stop by on Sundays before church for a donut or kolache. I still have never been disappointed. Highly recommend!
This is my new favorite donut shop. They are always really nice and the donuts are some of the best that I have ever had. They can sell out quickly since they are very popular, so you better get here early. :P

I have been an 'Archie's' fan since Archie was running it and it was across the street. When I heard he was selling it all I could think was "ohhh, noooo I hope the new owners keep Archie's original recipes...and they did!!! The glazed donut was crispy on the outside and light and airy on the inside. If you are lucky enough to either get there when they are pulling them out of the oven...Man, you have not had a donut until you have a warm one of Archie's with a big glass of cold milk! Found this place on Google. We're from out of town. Donuts are amaziiiiiiiing! Very tasty and everyone in there were super friendly. We will definitely stop by here again when we visit.

The disposable gloves are re used after touching the microwave door bags and everything in between. I asked if a new glove could be used and I received a blank stare. There called disposable gloves for a reason.

When the days of old have passed, let then go. Not anywhere near the same. A fudge type chocolate icing on a donut is absolutely a sacrilege. Was a destination in it's time, but not now.
