I had a poor experience at another establishment before stopping at Anne's to pick up some snacks while traveling through the area as part of my quest to visit all 100 NC counties. I did not read reviews before stopping, but my experience was fine. The cashier gave me recommendations, and packaged my donuts well. Fluffy cloud like donuts ! They don't skimp on the sugar around here ! My favorites are the cream cheese and the apple filled donuts. Get there early! Cheaper prices than fast food donuts and wayyy better quality!

Let's start off with the rude cashier. No greeting at all. I said good morning and nothing. She didn't speak at all until she gave me my total. Next I've gone to Anne's since Pine Street. This has got to be the worst I ever tasted. Quality has gone down. Doughnut all you could taste was sugar. The donut holes left a greasy after taste . Most definitely will not go back this place needs to close

I've been meaning to here and they were busy. It is a lovely building and the person behind the counter was pleasant even on her last day. So many items looked good and the pricing is very affordable. The doughnuts I had were good, but there was an aftertaste with the filling that was off-putting. They were still good. I'm willing to come back.

This place became my favorite for Doughnuts ?? . Really liking the original glazed and filled ones too. I would recommend to taste cupcakes as well. They are really soft and tasty. They serve every item fresh. You can also get birthday cakes ?? Store is not really big. It?s run by local people and they are very nice while doing business. You can also pickup and drive through.

Stopped here while passing through town and unfortunately did not have a positive experience. The woman working did not acknowledge me when I greeted her, and the overall environment felt unwelcoming. After reading other reviews, I noticed a pattern that raises concerns about potential bias or unequal treatment. Due to the poor customer service, I chose not to make a purchase.

All around amazing bakery...from their doughnuts to custom cakes! Their doughnuts are melt in your mouth delicious! Because the donuts was seal in a white box, so when I decide to open the box to eat them for dessert, it was not what was advertised on their website ??. I had miniture donut's not regular size??. The price $9.00 and change was not worth it. Next time I return I will order them fresh, so I know what I am paying for and the box is not seal. It's was?? small in size, but big on taste.????

Service was horrible! When you are patronizing a business the least they can do is be nice...I mean hey when you walk in and thank you when you're leaving...you can't even get that here!!!

I absolutely loved the cake that was made for my Aunt's 63rd birthday party. It was perfect for the occasion and it tasted amazing. The 2 associates that were there when I picked up the cake were extremely lovely associates. Their customer service was top notch! Pick up was on 9/25 at 12:30.

I ordered Anne's sweet tray for 12 people and needless to say I am very disappointed. They chose to leave off the cheese straws and replace them with some type of brownie bites. If a customer places an order three hours in advance they owe it to the customer to call them if the items (that is listed on the website) are not available. Stopped by today to get donut holes,about 10:30 and the lady was so rude and blunt. She didn't greet you and when asked if they sale a variety box she just say we have what you see. Donuts are indeed very delicious and worth the hype. But we didn't like how we were charged incorrectly for the type of Donuts we got and didn't notice till we got back in the car that we were charged for all filed Donuts. I always call ahead of time to see if they have any donut holes before I come they never have any past 10 or before. Supply and demand needs to be evaluated here if you make enough they won?t be sold out.

My husband ordered a Halloween themed birthday cake for me, unfortunately he got a standard birthday cake. It was supposed to be an ice cream cake but had only a thin layer of ice cream and the corners were filled in with icing. Normally I would have been okay with that but the icing was so sweet not even the kids ate their whole piece. They were nice enough to give a partial refund due to the appearance and the fact there were no sprinkles or balloons he paid extra for. We will not be using Anne's again. N

Bought a dozen doughnuts, they tasted old and hardly had any filling. This location used to be great. Sorry to say cutting back on the filling is only taking away from taste and your customers. Y?all was better then Krispy Kreme.

I don't really care to walk into a boutique, and donuts shop. With that being said I did not care for the donuts I found them to be very doughy. And to fair I purchased 3. Long John ??. Carmel Apple same dough, and my all time favorite Apple fritter now this was a big disappointment it was small and dry. And to think I passed up two groceries stores to get there.

Anne's Donuts has lost a lifelong customer. New management has been raising the prices for the past year now and the cakes/cookies and doughnuts don't even taste as good anymore. Since 2009 in wilson location I fell in love with Anne's. After many trips to rocky Mt & being out of stock over the years 9/2022 the dozen I finally got was not the recipe I had over the years. I'm seriously done trying to support your business. I tasted it & no vanilla melt in your mouth donut. Cold, possibly day old with breaking glaze off each bite. Box was sticky with Anne's sticker; but tasted like day old from kk.

Used to love this place. But most few times it?s been a let down and I think it?s under new ownership. Prices are ridiculous and had mostly empty shelves. Plus it bothers me when the employee parks in the single spot that would make it easier for customers coming in and out. Instead she made it easy for herself. Probably won?t be back. I don?t mind the walk but it?s just inconsiderate.

Anne?s use to have the best donuts anywhere but they sold a few years ago and now they?ve changed the recipe. The donuts are awful. They?re heavy and course? not the light flaky ones they use to be and what made the popular?. Don?t care if I ever have another one.

I know a store bought cookie when I taste one. Ordered 2 double deckers. If I wanted store bought sweets, I would have went to harris teeter or food Lion or Walmart. I?ve been getting double decker for years and can tell you all did NOT bake these from scratch in store. That?s it for me.

Ann?s has the best donuts in town. Absolutely delicious and glazed perfectly, the donuts here are a local Rocky Mount treat that I look forward to enjoying again real soon.

For a bakery and donut shop they had very little to offer. I bought brownies and a dozen of donuts for my co-workers to share. Even took a business card. Wow was we surprised. The reviews were horrible they brownies were hard. Just horrible will not be going back.

Didn't know that there was a place in Rocky Mount that made gluten free pastries! To my surprise, Anne's Donuts does. They made me the best birthday cakes with fresh strawberries. AND, it was gluten free!

This was ONCE the BEST place for a birthday cake in Rocky Mount! However, for some reason, they have now changed the recipe for the cake and cupcake frosting and its NOT a good change AT ALL. I'm going to hazard a guess that it has to do with money, since that seems to be a real problem for this little shop. Go back to the old frosting recipe! Surely it cant be THAT EXPENSIVE to use lard and sugar.

I am very disappointed and disgusted. The new owners of Anne's donuts are horrible. The donuts are stale, the shaved ice is yucky, and their tea was horrible. I hate that they sold the Anne's donuts brand to foreign people who obviously don't care about anything except taking our money.

I was told by Rocky Mount locals that this place was a must experience! I got their cream cheese filled doughnuts and original glaze. I?ve never been a fan of filled doughnuts until experiencing their cream cheese filled doughnuts. They are absolutely amazing.

There are no doughnuts here. Just pastries. They are good but nothing crunchy. Pillow soft pastries so if that is what you want they are good. I was looking for some more standard stuff like they had in the picture. Disappointed

I'm from Rocky Mount but moved to Winston Salem area 10 years ago. I was so excited to see you were opening on Sunday. But was highly disappointed when I pulled up today(09/02/18) website said you were open to find out you were closed and the hours may vary on Monday. I am very disappointed with you guys.

Anne's Donuts is a local icon ~ they have been around for as long as I can remember... when I was in elementary/middle school back in the 60's & 70's we did fund raisers and sold boxes of a dozen Anne's donuts. I can still remember all those stacks of boxes of donuts when it came time to deliver them! Ahhh the smell of those donuts filling the school! Today I live across the street from Anne's and get a donut anytime my heart desires... I usually go for the donut holes ~ $1.95 a dozen. Forget Dunkin Donuts

Very disappointed-ordered carrot cake-tasted like a spice cake-appeared to have fallen or was underbaked. Requested border- maybe used 1/4 ounce of frosting for the border. Will never order again!
