My first time here! I was in need of a sugar boost and a Google search sent me here. I totally loved the place, from the cute outside, to all the wonderful extra gifts, tshirts, dog treats, and so much more. I picked out 3 different items, a chocolate donut, a cinnamon roll and an apple turnover. I shared them, and they all got 5 stars. My personal favorite was the turnover. Great first visit. Friendly, helpful service. Sugar and caffeine galore all in a characterful rustic setting. Had a maple brown sugar latte (with an extra shot). It was like drinking a delicious pancake with coffee. Baked goods in a great variety and all looking tasty.

Nice hometown bakery and coffee shop on Route 34 in Sandwich, IL. Freshly made donuts and other bakery items. The donuts were fantastic! Prices are reasonable and there is plenty of room to sit inside or out. Great experience! Enjoy!

Stopped in for my first time picking up a dessert for dinner (I chose the Dutch Apple) I also ordered the pistachio lavender matcha and paired it with the pistachio muffin. Let's just say the pairing was phenomenal. I will definitely be coming back!

Banana nut bread was moist & yummy. Cranberry nut bread was dry & a bit bland. Bread pudding was OK, different compared to others I've had. Sugar & chocolate chip cookies were basic. Kinda pricey $15, but bread loaves were large. Everything is more expensive these days. Was my first time there. Been driving past the bakery for a couple years & wanted to stop in. Adorable inside & staff was friendly. I'd return for the banana nut bread, but not the other items purchased.

Been using Angie's for 4 years now for each of my children's birthdays, her and her staff are amazing! We get compliments every year about not only how delicious the cake is but how it's decorated too. You can't go wrong with anything they create and bake in house. High recommend to all my local friends.

Great service to help me with an order for a baby shower I was hosting. The cupcakes were amazing, especially the lemon with raspberry frosting and salted carmel chocolate. Angie is an owner who takes pride in her work and I appreciate the presentation she brings to her final product.

I just ordered cupcakes for my reception for November 30th. I ordered vanilla, chocolate, pumpkin, and red velvet. I only received chocolate, pumpkin and red velvet which was a bummer because vanilla is my favorite and is a popular flavor. The chocolate and red velvet cupcakes were super dry and the frosting wasn?t very good however, the pumpkin cupcakes were amazing as well as the frosting. Half the cupcakes were supposed to be a light blue color shown in the picture I sent but received a very bright blue

So my girls and I decided to try them out since we love apple cider doughnuts. We waited for a fresh batch even to come out of the oven. All of this was $31, which is sort of pricey especially for how good they were. As I bit into my doughnut I expected it to taste fresh and soft and it didn't even taste like an apple cider doughnut. Angie's is a staple to the Sandwich community. From birthday cakes to anniversary cakes to themed cookies and delicious muffins, anything you want you can get there. If your driving by, check out the clever saying they have on their sign outside- it changes periodically, always there for a good laugh. In addition, Angie gives back to the community which I for one always appreciate. I highly recommend Angie's!

Omg I ordered an iced latte with caramel pecan syrup and it was so good. I don?t usually like coffee but it was so good would recommend, and they gave me whipped cream and caramel drizzle, I?m a sucker for sugar and this hit the spot ??

Went in with high expectations only to be disappointed later. Over priced mini cupcakes 6 for $15 that were dry and tasted of cheap frosting. Honestly tasted like poor Walmart quality cupcakes. I have yet to try the muffins I bought. After eating the cupcakes I don't have high hopes for these muffins. Needless to say this will be the first and last time I ever buy from here. For all others, go to Cup N Cakes in Shorewood if you want to know what delicious cupcakes actually taste like.

We were very disappointed in the roll with (caramel?) & pecans on top. They must have been old because they were very dry. The person who packed them did not close the plastic carton and didn?t offer a bag. The plastic container opened and the donuts fell out when we were putting them in the car! We have not tried the other sweets that we took home. Scones were in a bag but the apple turnovers were in that same kind of container. Poor service when you buy the cheapest containers! Great variety of pastries. Awesome muffins! Angie is such a sweet heart, but staff friendliness is hit or miss. I love that they offer lattes and almond milk, but the latte?s are not very good. Very bitter and the coffee tasted cheap. I definitely come for the pastries, not the coffee. My go to bakery, just not my go to coffee shop.

Best bakery? Yes. Best coffee, heck yeah. Their staff is always so nice. The store is always immaculately clean. Service is quick. Best small business in Sandwich. I love stopping in for a cold brew coffee, but enjoying all the smells of delicious donuts.

I usually would just get pastries but decided to try out a drink and I?m a little picky when it comes to coffee and the girl working was so sweet and offered to customize a drink for me and even remake it if it wasn?t up to my liking but she did perfect the first try. Went here over the weekend to support a small business. Very cute atmosphere but the donut holes we purchase and cookies were not that pleasant (appeared as though they might have been purchased from Walmart or another grocer and they slapped their own label on it). As well, my iced latte lacked flavor, the barista made it with cold brew instead of an actual espresso shot, and was drowned in oat milk. A for effort but just didn't hit the spot.

This is one of the best bakeries around. The donuts are always amazing and over Thanksgiving we ordered apple pie and pumpkin pie from them and they were fantastic. Oh and the cookies are really good too. Staff is always friendly

I bought a groom's cake and a few dozen decorated sugar cookies from Angie's for my rehearsal dinner a couple weeks ago. It turned out even better than I expected! Everyone raved and the design was perfect. It tasted amazing and had real strawberries in the strawberry filling. The cookies were delicious and the decoration was so awesome. I could not have been happier with my purchase!

Extremely happy with Angie's. I showed her a picture of something specific I was looking for,for a bachelorette party. She said she never made it but would give it a try. No other baker would help me. Angie nailed it. Made the cookies exactly the way I wanted and tasted so delicious. Everyone at the party was so surprised at what she did and she received so many compliments. Customer service made you feel like you were family. Best bakery ever.

I was feeling sleepy this afternoon so I stopped at Angie's Sugar Buzz for a coffee. I wasn't sure what I wanted to order so I told her I wanted a large coffee with sugarfree hazelnut syrup and a shot of espresso. She asked, "Do you want a latte?" I said, "Sure! I'll take whatever you are recommending." This sugarfree hazelnut latte she made me was by far one of the absolute best lattes I have ever had in my life. Amazing! I even walked back in after trying it to let them know how great it was. 10/10

Over the past weekend my mom took my youngest son to Angie's Sugar Buzz Bakery & they made him a special cupcake & my mom some fresh coffee. I'm pregnant & my husband & I found out the gender of our baby this morning. Ordered a birthday cake for an 84th birthday. When we went to pick it up it was not made and there was no order form for it. The person remembers the conversation for the cake but it was never made. If you go in to pick up things that are already made the product is supposed to be great. Be careful if you need to order something!

We had purchased a wedding cake from here and it was never delivered on our wedding day. The owner did apologize but had the nerve to mention how her day was going smoothly and then pointed out how she was easy to contact via FB and phone to deliver it. Why should the customer have to remind you to deliver a wedding cake? Does this place not use any form of calendaring/reminder system? Angie's is just the cutest. The atmosphere is very rustic chic Americana, and you immediately feel at home when you walk in. The little decor touches are just adorable - especially the wall of doors separating the kitchen from the counter area. FAVORITE PLACE IN THE WHOLE WORLD I moved to Sandwich last year from DuPage County. One of the places I missed from there was our neighborhood bakery. I have once again found comfort in Angie's. Angie's is such a welcoming place with their delish bakery items and fabulous coffee. I usually get regular coffee but after reading the reviews I'm going to expand my interests :) And their seating area makes you feel like home. Angie made a beautiful, light pink and gold, minnie mouse themed, 2-tiered cake for my daughter's 2nd birthday. The cake exceeded my expectations and was delicious, it was the focal point of the dessert table! I met with Angie to discuss what I wanted with the cake. I showed her photos of what I wanted and gave her my budget and she told me exactly how she could make me what I wanted within my price point! Decided to try them out. Ordered a cake,cookies and, rice crispy treats. Very over priced the cake was super dry and they didnt even make it how I asked them to. Cookies where super thin practically broke when picked up and not a good taste. Rice crispy treats where the only thing I enjoyed. The staff was friendly but the baking was way off and over priced.

My grandson turned 13 and is into video games (of course). He wanted a birthday cake that showed that. Angie?s Sugar Buzz Bakery came up with an awesome cake that tasted just as wonderful. Thank you for such a great job. Highly Recommend!!

The oreos were chocolate dipped before, now they're in a rock hard mold you can barley bite. Not good tried $5 hot chocolate bomb, it didn't taste like chocolate whatsoever. We very much enjoyed the almond pastry! Highly recommend. I suggest you offer real heavy whipping cream and butter. I mean, come on. You have muffins and scones. You gotta have some real butter for that. None of the fake spreadable stuff either.

No stars. Google made me give you a star. Bad experience. Told you what I wanted at least 3 times and you still couldn't comprehend a simple message. I repeat what I wanted and you didn't respond. It has been 4 days with no response. Cancel my order because I already found another baker. I told my friend of the situation and THATS when they told me of their horrible experience with this company as well. Company could not produce quotes and was rude.

Had them make cookies for a flower girl and ring bearer proposal and they were adorable. She was super easy to work with and all I had to do was show her a picture of what I was looking for and she did exactly that. Highly recommend!

Thank god they're not in Naperville... yet. I made a special trip from my first stop yesterday in Oswego and immediately fell in love with the concept of a great "sugar buzz" hangout.
