The owner was super friendly!!! I called for pink sprinkle donuts for my daughter birthday 12 . He said he doesn?t have but he can make it for me. I was super happy because I called 5 other donut shops in area they all said no?. He got the donuts ready for me in 10 mins they were made fresh when I got there they had just pulled them out the oven he gave me 2 extra for free and I bought an old fashion donut as well as Boston cr?me for my son. When I say the best donuts I ever had in my life I?m not joking

This is hands down our favorite donut spot! The owner and employees are the nicest guys and remember all of their customers. We have been going for years and always feel welcome. Our kids love going to get donuts and they taste delicious! All other donuts are incomparable. Not only are their regular donuts delicious, they make donut cakes for celebrations and our daughter absolutely loved hers! Absolutely worth making this your go to donut place!

This was my first visit here. The place is very small, old and hard to find on Google Maps. Despite that, the donuts were delicious and fresh. This place is awesome but has been ruined by an employee named Robert he is so rude and cussed me and my family out when we asked for a burrito. Then because he was mad he shoved all 12 of our donuts into a bag instead of a box. He is misogynistic and treated my mother so poorly but all of the guys who walked in were treated with respect and even were given free donuts. Fire this guy and we will come back as happy customers.

American Donut is THE SPOT! So so so good. We moved to the neighborhood about a year ago and I stopped in for the first time and was blown away. This is my new go to donut place. They were all SOOOO GOOD. The breakfast burrito & gyros looked great too. Mike was so kind and a great host.

Upon Entering, I was greeted by a very cheerful man named Mike, of whom I soon found out to be the owner. He seemed genuinely happy to have me in his store and offered upmost hospitality. He gave me not one, but two free donuts and a free bottle of water. He really loves his community. Highly recommend this place. Order ahead for big office or church orders! Oh his breakfast burritos are pretty good too! Stopped by this morning hoping to find fresh and delicious donuts. Bingo! Mike, the new owner for about 3 years, is very friendly and helpful. The donuts were fresh and delicious. Yummy!

Visited this place after driving by many times. This shop definitely feels very dated but does that matter if the donuts are good? The owner was extremely friendly to my son and I and welcomed us with great service. We got several different donuts and they were all tasty! Just had an extremely uncomfortable experience here. The older man taking my order and I were the only people in the store. He had some kind of show loudly playing in the back area. The entire time he took my order and payment, the audio was of a sexual scene, complete with moaning, gasping, mentions of body parts, the whole shebang. American donut is awesome! The place is always packed! And for good reason the donuts are delicious. The only thing that rivals the taste of the donuts is the service provided by Robert! He is truly a one man army. He runs all around, baking, cooking, serving, and ringing people up all the while providing incredible care and hospitality.

I stopped by to pick up some donuts before work. I was impressed by the customer service provided by the gentleman filling the orders. Several people ordered some donuts and were obviously regular customers, he knew exactly what they wanted and provided quick friendly customer service. This is a classic, old-school, donut shop that produces great quality donuts! The dough in the raised donuts is light and fluffy on the inside with a thin, chewy layer from a perfect fry around the outside. The cake donuts are not too heavy like a lot of cake donuts. I got 4 dozen assorted donuts and everyone loved them. The owner is a great guy and super friendly. This is the kind of place that is worth seeking out over a grocery store donut. Highly recommend!

Absolutely fantastic donuts. France and this place have pastries on lock. I honestly have never had as good of donuts as I have had here. They also do catering. Although the price is a bit higher than Dunkin Donuts, this place is 10000% better. Location doesn't come off as nice, but you can tell the kitchen is cleaned and well maintained. The donuts I got were WAY too sweet, and the texture wasn't great. They definitely did not look like a professional bakery either. The store (physical building) is in a small strip mall. Who cares, because the donuts are wonderful. The gentleman behind the counter was super nice, a former US Marine. We wanted to try a variety of donuts, and he helped pick a nice grouping for us. My favorite was the chocolate cake with chocolate icing, though all were worth the trip.

Ok so I was a little worried because I had read some reviews that said the older gentleman who ran it was really rude. I think it depends on how you are and how you take things. Decided to try this place ONE TIME because its closer to my home.. The man with hat and grey hair is RUDE. I said I would need between 6 and 12 donuts and he grumpily demanded "I need numbers!". I told him if he had a nicer attitude their crummy store *might* attract more customers.
