We just moved to the neighborhood, and we always see the cute sign for Amazing Glazed while driving to and from the new house. My very awesome realtor (Kim Wilkey, Rose & Womble) sent me a coupon for free donuts here, so my daughter and I checked it out. It was very overwhelming for me at first - they have a lot going on, so it was hard to know where to go and what to do! But the person who took my order was very kind and patient. Been here a few times and have no complaints! Donuts are fresh made, two cake flavors each day, with your choice of icing and toppings. Coffee drinks are refreshing and just as good, if not better than most chains. Pricing is definitely better! Staff is friendly and courteous, and if something is not right or takes too long, they are on top of fixing it and/or comping you. Store is always clean and inviting. I love supporting local businesses, and we are definitely making this our regular coffee shop!

My go to doughnut place. They're always fluffy and melt in your mouth. They also have a good coffee selection and the staff are always friendly. Their lemon topping is delicious.

The staff was friendly and informative on how everything works, the place was clean and there are several tables to sit at. There are lots of ways to get your donuts here, we got some of the recommended options they had on display. They were made to order, and you can actually watch the staff making the donuts. Ultimately, to us, the donuts were definitely good, but a little small, and not quite at the same level as some of the other similar options in the Hampton Roads area. I'm sure we'll be back though,

Sooo good! We went to Amazing Glazed thinking it was a regular doughnut shop, but it is so much better. We had a blast picking out all kinds of amazing different flavors and the kids absolutely loved that there were step stools to stand on so they could watch our doughnuts being made. The doughnuts are light and delicious and that maple bacon one was a favorite. Super cool place and we will definitely be returning.

Omgawd!! I DONT LIKE DONUTS EVER!! but this was THEE BEST DONUT I have ever had. Made right in front of you and warm and soft when you get it. Amazing donuts indeed!! I'm normally a Krispy Kreme person but I believe I found my new favorite donut stop. I ordered a Fruity pebble(My sons fav), oreo, angel creme, Bavarian creme, apple pie, churro(My Fav) lemon custard and their original and the birthday cake. YUMMY selection!!

Sometimes social media can be a good thing. I had never heard of Amazing Glazed until they were in the news for threats from the Left (who have left the bad reviews). These donuts are fantastic and the staff is friendly!! You can get them done any way you'd like, because they are made fresh while you wait. You should give them a try!

The staff is friendly and helpful. You get to see them put the toppings on the donut and drool as the smell gets to you. Their donuts are delicious and there are plenty of combinations to experiment with. They even have ice cream donuts!!

This is the only local donut shop I know of in Chesapeake and it so exceptional. It is not expensive as far as specialty donuts go and the staff are always so sweet and helpful. The donuts and Gelato are SO SO good! If you think the Gelato is expensive for the size, you'll try it and find out it's so rich that you don't need that much. If you live in Chesapeake you HAVE to visit here!

Update 11/9/22- stopped in to grab a birthday donut for a coworker and decided to grab a dozen for the rest of the office. They were a hit! Everybody raved about how light and delicious they were. Poor girl was alone this morning and definitely seemed rushed and overwhelmed. It's a small shop and I can imagine mornings at rush hour can be a bit much for just one person. This place is truly amazing! Donuts are perfectly crisp on the outside and cake like on the inside. Numerous options for toppings. When I went yesterday, there were several people in line but we were still out in under 15 minutes with our half dozen donuts. I had a terrible experience at this shop today. A server named Susan was rude and unprofessional. Granted, we came in 5 minutes to closing which was at 2 PM. Her demeanor and tone was aggressive and impatient. The entire interaction occurred within 7 minutes. She kept repeating ?what do you want, what do you want!? Very unique donuts, they are not your typical bakery style, which is a nice change of pace. All donuts are freshly made right in front of you and you can choose whatever toppings you want on it. They also gave ice cream that they use nitrogen to help freeze their cream. Their donuts were just a little too rich for me, I definitely couldn't eat more then one but overall I enjoyed it. Would visit again for sure.

Best donut place I have been too. They cooked the donuts while I was ordering and made them exactly as I wanted. Where else can you make your own combinations to get exactly what you want? Been 3 times now, will keep going back. Great donuts!!!! Taste more like little cakes than donuts. This place is so special because it's locally owned and the owners are super nice! They go out of their way to make you feel welcome and be part of the community. Donuts are cheap too, in my opinion. For $7 (includes tax) you get 6 works of art that taste great. Great Donuts! Had my 5 year old Birthday Party here. They have a sectioned off Party Room, make a donut cake, and allow kids 2 donuts ech to glaze and top with whatever they like. Great Job Guys!

This is a hidden gem for sure and I'm almost hesitant to write a review and spill the beans. Not only is everything on the menu freshly made and tastes amazing, but the customer service is unbeatable. The staff there are genuine and care about their customers. They even gave my toddler a free glass of milk. Definitely a place to check out.
