AMAZING DONUTS AND BAGELS. Everything is made fresh and is soon delicious. The coffee is eh but it's a donut shop I go there for the donuts. Service was pleasant the staff was very friendly. It has an old-school donut shop feel with community seating and older decor. It is cash only with an ATM inside
Had an amazing croissant for breakfast with Vietnamese coffee and maple bar. Best croissant I've had in a while. Bring some cash, it's cash only !! ATM inside available but 2$ fee .
I?ve been coming here since I was a child. I still make it a few times a month, now with my own children. Doughnuts are amazing, breakfast croissants are the best. I plan on being a customer until I?m too old to make it anymore.
Loved the doughnuts, but 14.95 for a dozen is a little bit much. Some of the chairs were out of service, and it is in a little bit of a weird part of town for a doughnuts shop. They also serve bagles and sandwiches that are also very good. Highly recommend if you are visiting the area.

This a a classic California-style independent donut shop. It is one of the best that I know of in Northern California. They have a crumb old fashioned, which I have not seen other places, and the fitters are absolutely amazing.
Best bagel/donut place in Santa Cruz along with Main Street (which are both owned by the same people). Great prices, 2 bagel sandwiches and 2 donuts for less than $20! Tasty, great employees, friendly atmosphere. Worth paying in cash for.

Stumbled upon this while on vacation, doesn't look like much from the outside but the food was super good. Bagel was crispy and fluffy, donuts were light and fluffy and the apple fritter was so fresh. Staff was incredibly nice also. They do only take cash so keep that in mind, ATM on site if needed.

The best donuts in town and the best breakfast bagels. Same owners as main St bagels and the bagel sandwiches are super good. If your there early enough to get a hot glazed donut there is not a better donut in town.
Great donuts, breakfast pastries, with a very cool table set up. Half of it is set up like a bar, but doesn't feel like your at the bar at a restaurant. The staff was friendly. The food options were plentiful, and the overall atmosphere was welcoming. A little hole in the wall donut shop to get your donut holes.
Very long wait. I cant tell you how long because I never made it to the front of the line. Only one other person was in line so Im not sure why it took so long. Also they are cash only. I have never had the chance to try their food because the service was so slow I didn't have enough time on my lunch break. Update: went back tried the food. Very expensive. 4 donut holes for 1$. Watery coffee, but alright and really yummy egg bacon cheese. Update: very friendly
Good place to get donuts and coffee when I'm on my way to jobs in mid-town Santa Cruz. Coffee is fresh, and donuts are well made. Owned/run by immigrants as far as I can tell. Hardworking friendly people, and obviously a local hangout spot for some of the neighborhood seniors. Good local place, give them a try.
This place is amazing for donuts. I really enjoy going there in the mornings and getting donuts and coffee. They have amazing sandwiches as well as tasty smoothies. Overall great place! I would for sure recommend if craving sweets. Also great customer service.
Really love their donuts and especially their egg and cheese bagels. They're really polite here, and usually give you your food in a pretty timely manner. I'd highly advise dropping by their little shop and getting yourself something yummy ??
Ok was there a change in ownership ? The donut quality has dropped. At one time, these were amazing. Now they taste day old . Was definitely disappointed. The sandwich was the same. So that's a plus .
I like that they're branched out from just donuts to include sandwiches. Makes the place more useful to me.
Yes all right donuts haven't been there in years but boy they are still just as good as they always were The bagels were great customer service was great definitely come back although we stopped at the bagel place over on 41st avenue by Eric's deli and they were very rude and not very nice so we walked out and came to Albright's Great decision have a nice day thank you
Cross contamination with peanuts, I have mentioned it to them and they still don't try to use separate tongs and keep the peanut products separate. Also I ordered a beagle with avocado and tomato, well I go tomatoes .. maybe a 1/4 of an avocado $5.00 Tasty but small
The absolute best donuts in Santa Cruz County & beyond. And I tried to find one better. At least 10 other places in the Bay Area as well! So I was just punishing myself I guess. Thanks for all you do!
I don't recommend this place. There's a long wait. I ask for a specific donut and see didn't give to me. Coffee is that great. Donut doesn't taste fresh. I won't be returning.
My Uncle Henning Moe took me here over 20 years ago. He use to come at the end of the day and buy out their remaining inventory at a special price, then he would take them down to the homeless shelter, minus one ot two doughnuts. The doughnuts are great. The memories even greater. My uncle passed away in 2009. I only have good memories of him.
