Always a pleasant experience and fresh selection. And they still make an authentic Glazed Old Fashioned with a donut skirt instead of just drizzling glaze on a donut. Hot coffee to go and usually a few old timer Regulars at the patio table and chairs to wish you a Good Morning!

I've been going to AL'S since high school and they never disappoint. The two ladies that are always there are so nice and welcoming. The donuts are top tier and an antioch landmark.

Get their early and you get the good doughnuts before ten o'clock. Friendly store owners are ready to serve. The location is suspect, but not bad. They have been their for a while. Great doughnuts!

I love this place. Everything about it is great. Management, service, the donuts, atmosphere, and location. It reminds me of the donut shop my grandmother used to take me to as a child. I go as often as i can, but at least once a month. I highly recommend the custard filled donut holes. But they only have them on certain days, and you have to get there early because they sell out quickly.

I wish the prices were more in the hopeless budget! But great donuts!!

First time here and even though they were kinda of busy the line moved pretty fast probably because everyone in front of me knew what they wanted. The place was very clean and the donuts were Excellent and got the thumbs up from my wife who used to be a bakery manager. And my Grandkids who are very picky gave them a two thumbs ???????? ???? up. Als donuts is the best donut shop around here. I use their donuts for my friends, family and coworkers for a treat before work, soccer games, meetings and even for my kids birthday party donut cakes. If I could give them 10 stars I would. We can no longer afford the calories of having donuts every weekend, but we celebrate my wife's birthday by getting four large delicious donuts (cinnamon roll, apple fritter, cherry triangle, and old fashion bear claw). Donuts are great. It's just the lady who owns the place or works there is too hyper. She thinks she knows everything. Often I hear her discussing with her husband how she schooled this customer and that. Other than her, the Donuts are really yummy.

I don't buy a lot of donuts but on the occasion when I do, Al's donuts are pretty much some of the best I've ever had. Very flavorful and reasonably priced. An added bonus is the staff is really friendly, and when I've called to have an order ready the next day, it is there waiting for me....great place.

The donuts are SO GOOD! Not too sweet, soft, and that slight crisp edge to them. Yum! They close at 1pm but usually close earlier because they usually run out by 12pm. Worth going!

Their customer service is trash. If I could I would give zero stars for the manager being so rude and disrespectful and condescending at my complaint. BEST DONUTS IN TOWN!! It's a difficult place to find, but worth the search. Family owned, and you can feel the love when you walk in. The glazed french crullers are my favorite!! Only place around I know that even makes crullers.

I don't eat donuts usually. My husband , on occasion, will get up and say," let's go get a donut". It's never , a , donut. Usually twelve. Went in and the lady messed up my orser ..my first time there too .i had heard alot of great things .the donuts are ok . i like friendly family donut shops. I had asked for 30 donutholes and the lady said we only sell them per dozen i said ok I will get 2 .then i got a different donut as well. When i returned home there was only 1 dozen there..i called to tell the lady what had happened she agrued with me and said i only ordered one dozen..i said why would i ask for 30 donutholes and then only get one dozen

Donuts are decent, basic, everyday stuff, nothing special but still delicious. Unfortunately, their prices are ridiculous. $11.99 for a dozen donuts. That's a dollar apiece. Too much, in my opinion. Our regular corner donut spot is $7/dozen.

My favorite donut shop. By the 3rd trip to Al's, they knew my name. Even after a year away, I was remembered. That type of old fashion service is traveling seen today. (Although Starbucks tries). Yummy!

I had to get a donut for the wife Sunday morning. Surprised how many were at Al's as I was looking in display case. The place was rocking. The staff was helpful, friendly, and patient. People asked lots of questions and they had all the answers.

Love this place but it needs to be corrected the way they handle donuts. The guy was wearing a gloves and handled donuts then he uses same gloves to handles peoples payments . Hope the owner sees this post to make immediate health safety correction.

They charge 50 cents for atm use, which is not legal in California. The donuts are alright, but due to the charge, I would skip it. I spent $25 on a dozen donuts and was still charged the fee.
