You can definitely tell the place has been there for some time. We had the ham and cheese croissant and they were so delicious. The croissant was crunchy but soft the meat and cheese ratio was amazing. Best in Bakersfield. Sorry no pictures, it was that good.
Although the outside looks a bit shabby this place has awesome breakfast sandwiches and donuts! Very impressed with the service and friendliness of the staff.

i used to go here all the time in 2007 and 2008 used my EBT card to buy dozens every month, now it doesn't accept EBT anymore so i cant go there very often anymore cause i cant spent rent money on donuts, really wish theyd go back to accepting EBT an doing dine in like they used to everything is packed up like theyre ready to move out any day, no space to sit an enjoy breakfast, place has really gone downhill since then, almost like a dumpster
They have the best donuts in town, and the breakfast sandwiches are delicious. !!! Although not in the best location it's a on-the go spot, no dining in, which i believe it's the safest for them.

They always have excellent food. The customer service seems tolerant towards customers and the staff is very attentive to orders but they aren't very friendly or inviting. I wish they would bring back their blueberry donuts- those were amazing !

Went in for a turkey bagel and she gave me ham so my husband takes it back and the older women argues that that?s what we ordered and refuses to remake . She tells the man ?just give him the money? Horrible service and the donut my husband got was old. Will not be returning

Do not go late at night. Not safe. I felt like donut and smoothie around midnight. Didn't think much of it. But soon as I pulled up to the driveway I knew it wasn't a good idea. The person I was with said it should be ok. But honestly was not okay. Homeless was camping at side of building. Dumpsters was trash everywhere just not a safe place. This is a good Donut shop. Donuts are as good as any other donuts around. But Thay make really good sandwiches. Thy make them fresh to order for you. And thy are friendly . And nice people that work there. I wasn't disappointed with the sandwiches at all.
They have delicious bread, the coffee is not very strong but that does not mean that it loses its coffee flavor so that you can drink it without any problem without bitter flavors, the breads that I have tried are soft and the bread is soft without the chewy sensation and the chocolate is not very cloying, I would dare to say that it is much better than other bakeries that I have known. without hesitation I recommend them.
I'm not sure if they're under new management or just hired new employees, but in the past few months I've seen all new faces and none of the previous ones. That said, the donuts at this place are quite a bit better than before, and now, are great! Much more fresh and moist than previous visits.. Service was a little lacking as far as being warm and friendly, but service was prompt and efficient. Would be five stars if not for the sketchy location and the slightly lackluster customer service.
It's hard to understand them sometimes but man they are quick and they make damn good donuts! I stop in there any time I can afford to. I just wish they accepted food stamps, now that would be AWESOME!
My experience I had multiple times donuts weren't fresh at all they have sat there for a while and I use to work at Smith's bakery so I can tell when donuts are fresh and when there not. I found a better shop on north chester there donuts are always fresh no matter what time of day it is. The workers at airport donuts are slow and rude. We were polite to them but they were always rude no matter what.
They have good donuts I like their chocolate chip one The service is okay I think the staff is kind of rude kind of snooty other than that there good.
New owners? Wanted a buttermilk bar - nope cream filled- nope wound up with with a glazed I think; I say that because it didn't taste like a glazed at all. Glaze was gritty with no flavor and the donuts flavor tasted like oil was a month past due needing changed. My dog would not eat it. Would not sell a pup cup! Said they didn't have whipped cream when she was standing next to it. Admitted she didn't want to. Staff was rude stock was nill. Will never ever be back.

The girl that was working today was very rude and had an attitude because I asked her to add another breakfast sandwich to my order. Her exact words were how come you order it now. I couldn't believe her attitude? I was the only one that she had to serve??. She was so rude that evan the way she spoke to me was do professional. Ebt accepted here and the donuts are good not hard or nasty. Really rough area beware of the hobos that hang around the parking lot. Good place if you are in and out fast.

This donut shop changes its name and management more than I change out my underwear but it always stayed as a donut shop one way or another for many years, as far as I can remember (I remember it as Yum-Yum Donuts.)
