We're in town for a few weeks, and we wanted to go to an old-fashioned donut shop (we just have a Shipley's near us at home). This fit the bill 100%. Small, unassuming shop with a delicious variety of donuts alongside some creative, fun options for our kids. Less expensive than chain donut shops too. This shop will now be a staple whenever we come to visit.
Let me start by saying, it's a donut shop. Nobody expects donut shops to be the best place you've ever been to eat. That being said, this shop is quite amazing. The choices available are fairly broad, they get quite a bit of business so choose when you stop in wisely as near closing they may not have as much to choose from. I'm so confused... This place had the BEST donuts and other breakfast items. I haven't been in the area in 4 years and just happened to be this morning. It's 8:30 and the place is a ghost town. Did they sell out or shut down?
This donut place is the BEST donut place in Acton or granbury. They are always fresh and the owners are kind.
6-21-25. Update: This used to be the best donuts around... The last 3 times I stopped, the new person at the counter is not very personable and my Bacon Egg and Cheese Croisant has been cold. Turning around to come back to get it reheated is geeting to be a nuisiance.
Delicious, fresh and excellent pricing. Donuts and hole are available. Fresh coffee and beverages. They also have a drive through.
The nice man that works there helped me jump my truck, although my truck didn't start the jesture was awfully kind we need more people like that! Their doughnuts are also the best in Granbury by far.

I've been coming here for almost 20 years. Family owned and excellent at what they do. Sometimes I get up super early to get the donuts when they're warm. (5am-ish) So good!
For a doughnut place in a small town, Action Donuts was really good. We picked up a few dozen to give out at a move and they were all eaten almost as soon as we brought them out!

Best in Granbury. Courteous and friendly go there almost every morning, swap sea stories with other old Marines. Good coffee too!
I drive all the way from godley if that says anything. My kids love them they have a good selection even at 11:00 a.m.
SUPER IRRITATING that Google says open until noon and you drive here to find the donut closed at 1032.
