My husband picked up mother's day donuts and they were so beautiful! Always amazing donuts every time we come. Lots of variety and the donuts are always filled the way they're supposed too. Been coming here since they opened in north port and they never disappoint! ??????????

So delicious! We ate here every day on vacation. Apple fritters were definitely our family favorite & their loaded cinnamon rolls & Boston cream was the only reason our kiddos made it out of bed before noon (shop closes at noon- ha!). PS- place is cash only but prices are like something from 1980s so if you have to use their onside ATM it's still a win.

Quite possibly the best cake donut of my life. I went for the simple powdered sugar cake donut, and it was so light and fluffy with the perfect amount of crunch. The glazed yeast donut was also delicious. Can't wait to go back and try more on my next visit to Florida!

We ended up not going in. Cash only sign in door - ATM available. Why not just take card payment and pass the xx cents merchant fee on to the customer?! Who carries cash. Not using an ATM to be charged an extra $3 by my bank AND a ATM fee just for some donuts.

Cash only donut shop located conveniently in a shopping center off 41. Service is always great. Best apple fritters around, but you need to get there early because they are the 1st to go. The ?clair donuts are also delicious and full of filling. We get them both every time we come.

This shop is not at all modern, it has a very old-fashioned vibe, and you can definitely tell it's more of a mom-and-pop store. That said, the prices for their doughnuts are very fair! I arrived about 9:45 A.M. plenty of customers in the small space but I didn?t have to wait a very pleasant woman peaked around the crowd and asked if she could help me. She patiently went through the options. There were no Apple Fritters left which was disappointing but my choices were very delicious! The atmosphere in this little bakery could be better. It was low light and cluttered. I can?t say it wasn?t clean but if you went by looks only it was questionable.

Not bad but not great. Expensive and only can use cash. They say it's because of high charges but they put in a atm that charges there customers but not them. As a business owner myself that's poor business. You box yourself in doing that. I wish them well. This is not a knock to them just my thoughts.

Best Apple fritter on the planet. They offer 2 sizes, a small which is fine for the average person or a large which is ridiculous (ridiculously awesome). All the donuts are huge. Be forewarned they do not take credit. Cash only.

Lovely little donut shop. They were delicious and priced very fairly. Got a few glazed, a chocolate glazed and lemon filled. I unfortunately didn?t get to try the glazed or chocolate as my son gobbled those down before I had a chance. The lemon filled was very rich and packed with filling. Like heavy with filling. So delicious. We will definitely be back.

Love their apple fritters. Hate their chocolate covered donuts. They put chocolate on an already glazed donut. Way too much sugar. It really throws off the taste of the donut.

Abbe's is the only donut place we go to in Florida. Sometimes we have to wait in a long line, but that's because people know they're really good! Even when they're really busy, the staff is friendly and helpful. It isn't a fancy place at all, but is that a problem? Things to remember: cash only and closed on Mondays.

Best donut I have ever had! We went there last Sunday they didn?t have much because they were closing but they did have the donuts I love so it was a win win!! My 3 year old wanted donuts this morning so we packed up and went over to abbe's since when we lived here a few years ago it was great. well things have changed and not for the best we got 12 and when we got home the donut were dry and not even close to fresh it was like eating a week old hard donut. wasted money and a drive.

Abbe's gets it. They do not cheat you on filling. These some heavy filled donuts. They are sweet and efficient without making you feel rushed. They will even fill and ice to order if it isn't in the case already.

Only excepts cash, no mention on Google maps when I searched for it. Although the donuts are good donuts the store itself is in need of repair and a top down cleaning.

Went here because of the good reviews. Was so very disappointed! I got a chocolate eclair and a glazed donut. The glazed donut was very thick and very bread like. It wasn?t that good and the chocolate eclair was very bready and the filling was canned vanilla pudding. The chocolate on top was very bitter and the whole thing tasted awful. My husband got an apple fritter and yes it was huge but again mostly bread like and not a lot of flavor. All and all we were very disappointed. I do not recommend!

It was my first visit. The menu was hand written some hard to read. I had to ask for the flavor I wanted. The lady that took my order wasn't super friendly and I felt rushed but I have to say..that was the best donut I ever had! Finally a donut with plenty of fillings!

We had heard people raving about the donuts from this place so we were in the area the other day and stopped by. We got a glazed, apple cider, and cream filled. They were all amazing. I have never had a donut with so much filling; apple cider donut was wonderful; and the glazed donut was the best I ever had. I?m not talking about just the flavor but the texture was dense; it almost the texture of a cake. Well worth the money.

Everyone is so nice there. The ATM wasn't working and they offered for us to just leave them an IOU..amazing. Luckily we were able to get some money out, but that was so incredibly nice of them. The donuts are absolutely the best. I go there only planning on getting one and leave with three just for myself each time!

They always run out of product or their best seller 2-4 hours before closing and don?t warn their customers when they run out. I haven?t been here in a little more than a year. Stopped in today and an elderly woman waited on me. I told her I wanted a dozen donuts with fruit filling in the shells with no toppings at all. She never told me they were $2.50 a piece. For 1 donut. She didn?t wear gloves. Handled money!! The bill was $32.00 plus some change. No receipt was given. So these donuts are wonderful BUT they don?t seem to manage being busy well. Maybe a management issue I?m really Not sure. Today it took my husband and daughter 2 hours to get 4 donuts. And yes they actually waited lol. The line was not that long but someone did order 500 donuts. The best fresh donuts with a great selection!

I was told this place was amazing. So I drove 45mins out of the way to stop by the morning and here?s how it went. They only take cash(not posted on their website) , and then will not allow you to purchase any donuts over 2 dozen unless you call a day in advance. They told me I could order two dozen there and then drive to another location and order a dozen from that location. When I told them it was for 36 girls, they said ?well we don?t have the inventory for that, because then We would be out of donuts.

Let me start with the positive. The donuts were good. Not the best I have ever had, but good. The negative and the reason for the two stars is the service. It is extremely slow. I waited in line for 45 minutes this morning and only had 6 customers ahead of me. I now understand that the line outside the door does not reflect how good the donuts are, but rather how slow the service is. I don't like wasting time on my weekends, so I will go elsewhere next time.

Wanted to try them since everyone raves about them.. Was planning to get some donuts for some friends. They were only accepting cash, which is fine. What made me sick to stomach was the ladies taking cash with the gloves on and then turning around and grabbing donuts with those same nasty gloves for the customers. Went to call and place an order for 2 dozen donuts for my crew and got laughed at by the lady on the phone and the owner, than was told that they can't do that. Donuts are as always delicious. Cash only. However they need to be a little better managed, the lady getting the donuts is wearing a mask so many people can?t understand her. She gets the donuts with the same gloves on as she take the cash with. Disgusting! Maybe take cards or have two people working the counter. Also labels would be great and make the lines go a little faster. No one knows what the flavors are.

Despite the outside construction/remodeling going on at the plaza, stepping inside the store makes it worthwhile. Lucky to get there on a weekend day. There was their fantastic pumpkin donuts that day. We each got one of those. I was grateful to be able to order a French Bliss and a German Chocolate. Hello Health Department?. I agree with many of these reviews. The old lady at the counter should not be waiting on customers . She never changes gloves after touching money. The lines can be long especially Sundays and she can?t handle it. She will stop in the middle of an order and make coffee . Delicious donuts! From the fruit filled to the cream filled you can not go wrong! Their cinnamon buns are a must have! They have been a staple for us from baby showers, parties & they even do huge special events like business meetings & weddings! They are such a great locally owned business. Sometimes there is a line but that is a good sign! That means they are doing it right and so worth a little wait! Enjoy!

I like the one in North Port better. The donuts in PC don't taste right and the glazed donuts are smaller. I told the old lady what I wanted and she argued with me so I just took what she gave me. Will not be back

I got a chocolate glazed that was light and airy while decadently delicious, and a sugar dusted angel creme filled donut that was creamy and dreamy. Try these donuts and live. Even the coffee, while not extraordinary, is above average. you can expect a line anytime between 7 and 11. seating is limited and bring CASH as they do not accept credit cards.

They might have the best donuts, but also THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. It's like it's a bother for you to be nice to your customers and act like we are such an inconvenience.
