The homemade donut holes are amazing!, The bakery is Amish owned. Service is great, the lines are long, they move quickly. There is so much to choose from. There is plenty of free parking, they are closed on Sundays.
Ordered cupcakes and cake for my sons birthday and they matched the theme perfectly. Cake tasted great too with a reasonable price!

Sat 10/21 I bought a Beehive cake and it was very dry. $10.25 and very disappointed. There was one slice of the cake on the shelf that looked like it had a lil mold on it. I've only bought from them one other time with no problems but a lil eary now as to whether l will buy again.
The most lowest level tasting Sugar Christmas cookie ever. They most certaintlty extended the MD.crab season ,as for it tasted like a dip in the bottom of a steamer. May have passed if they were shaped like crabs.. God awful ,the worst bakery purchased product ever. Also bought the "ressee peanut butter bars" .. wonder how ressee's feels about the copyright infringement? No , zero , zilch dates on thier products.. aka...use your ahead folks.The "- - - -" sits untill the next wknd.
My family and I tried the donuts here for the first time and they are amazing. They were all so tasty and they had a great amount of specialty donuts. It's unfortunate we're a far drive from there but we'll definitely be back.
Excellent pastries and if you're looking for donuts made fresh daily and are stuffed amply, this is the place to go. Miss Annie makes the most beautiful, moist, delicious cakes for that special occasion and has a great selection of ready made fresh cakes and pies, the whoopie pies are a real crowd pleaser for sure. I highly recommend A&R Bakery to all, they're open Thursday, Friday, and Saturday along with the rest of the vendors at the Farmers Market.
I typically do not purchase baked goods here. However, excellent angel cake recently. Sticky buns were, in the past, undercooked. Not the case lately, very, very good!
Great fresh baked goods at a very reasonable cost. Friendly, helpful staff make sure you get just what your looking for. I especially enjoy their fresh baked bread & rolls. Definitely a must stop Bakery
