Delicious donuts. We bought a variety and liked all of them. The coconut eclair was my favorite
Stopped by to see what they had available for a dozen or so donuts. They only had about four left for the day and currently weren?t accepting credit cards due to technical issues. (Which was my only means to pay). The owner felt so awful and didn?t want to leave me disappointed she sent me with the most delicious peanut butter cookie on the house for the inconveniences. Even after I declined she insisted. This is why I love small businesses, they truly care for their community. Will definitely be stopping b
Small local spot with a great vibe and friendly staff. Stopped in on a drive home after finding it online and it was delightful. Was there on the later side so the picking was slimmer but there was still a good variety of options. The donuts themselves are very well made, fluffy and soft and the frostings and fillings are not overwhelming or overbearing. Stop in if you get the chance but if you want the more unique ones you need to go early.

They have chocolate covered caked donuts with candy sprinkled on them! It's like a dream come true. So tasty!
The owners are very friendly and know how to treat a customer. They have a nice selection of cake donuts but also have some great apple fritters. A nice chewy texture with just the right amount of sweetness on the fritter. The establishment has some classy wood booths which encourage people to enjoy their treats right there. Coffee is available A lot of their business is through catering.

A dozen excuses has never disappointed. The cake doughnuts are absolute the best I've ever had. The fritters and other doughnuts are delicious too. You can also grab a cup of coffee or a bottle of juice while there. If your around during lunch they offer Coney dogs served on their fresh buns. Very good!
I called miss Peggy at 6am this morning (not realizing they weren't even open until 7) to arrange a delivery for a friend in the hospital, and she was just lovely! Stark contrast to the customer service Of the first bakery I called in Duluth. I was able to arrange a lovely, sugary spread of donuts all the way from Texas, and my friendloved the donuts! Thanks Peggy, you are a lifesaver ??
The smell walking through the door was fantastic. Interesting variety of fresh donuts. We had a chocolate frosted custard filled, a banana split donut, and a maple frosted Persian. Good stuff
My mother and aunt ordered a cake for my baby shower this past weekend. They had gone to the store and sampled cake and fell in love with an almond flavored cake with Bavarian cream. They proceeded to order this for the main cake and then ordered 60 cupcakes in vanilla and chocolate. The cupcakes were horribly dry, making it difficult to swallow them. I recommend you go to Johnson's Bakery instead. This place was a waste of time. The cashier was so awkward and did not know how to refund us for water bottles that they didn't have. She tried to give us cups of tap water for the same amount. Not a lot for the selection and the donuts were just okay. At least it was cheap.
The donut I had was ok. Was disappointed to be meeting a friend here, all reviews say how good it is. However, the morning we went there was only about 5-10 pastries left in the case to choose from. It was still morning, so thought there would be more options.
Stopped and got a treat on Tuesday on our way back home. Wonderful apple fritters and filled long john. Coffee was excellent! You should try this little shop!
It's great donuts and service but you've gotta get there right away because they run out soo fast .
Donuts are good and it's a charming environment, I'll give them that. However there is a $5 minimum for credit cards and no wi-fi. For someone that wants to work or study for a couple hours, you'll be disappointed.

Just stopped in and bought coneys. Terrible !! The sauce was real dark. Looked burnt. Tried it anyway. One bite and they went in the garbage. Sauce was sitting too long, and WAS burnt. Had to try it, and now I know I won't be getting them again.

I Really liked it but i only had about one excuse so that means your lying and that your donuts are really good so i give it a 5 star rating because my foot hurts and im running out of time to live because were all gonna someday anyways so make the best of it and come to this donut shop and win at life because you'll have a dozen excuses for your trillion reasons to stay(song).
