1st Donuts

Reviews Summary

This donut shop receives mixed reviews, with many praising the fresh, delicious donuts (especially specialty items like spinach pastries and kolaches) and friendly service. However, some criticize inconsistent quality, high prices, and occasional rude behavior from staff. The shop stands out for its variety, with several customers claiming it surpasses chains like Dunkin' or Krispy Kreme. Negative experiences include stale or greasy donuts, billing issues, and cleanliness concerns (like refusing indoor bike parking). While loyal customers rave about the melt-in-your-mouth texture and freshness, detractors cite poor value and service. The overall impression is a locally loved spot with standout donuts but occasional service and consistency flaws.

Customer Reviews

1st Donuts has a large variety to choose from, that most Donut shop don't offer. Like the sausage bacon kolache and a delicious spinach pastry. The donuts are awesome. They have an assortment of fun delicious donuts for the kids. 1st Donut offer more choices than any other Donut Shop in my area. This place is always clean, fresh and good customer service! I did not eat spinach until I tried the spinach pastry. I'm hooked, my friend is loving the sausage bacon kolache. I love this place!

4 nasty dry kolachis 1 cinnamon roll 1 apple fritter tasted like old grease and nasty coffee the only good thing was the apple juice they did not make. Price 17.08 . We will never go back. Best donuts and kolachis are at castle and country club by far. We threw our food away from 1st donuts what a waste of time and money.

Great donuts, but won?t allow bikes to be parked just inside the door. Been going here for awhile, at least a couple times a week. Some of the best donuts in the metroplex. Rode my (clean) bike over there and the owner would not let me park my bike inside the door. She rudely shooed me away. I understand they care about cleanliness but I?m not about to leave my $1000 bicycle parked outside in Garland, even for a few minutes. As a loyal customer I felt a bit put off by the whole thing.

My father in-law suggested this donut shop,I will never go there again. Donuts were not fresh tasting at all, left a bad taste in mine& husband's mouth.Very overpriced, should have stuck to our usual donut shop.We ended up throwing it all away,$20 worth.

donuts are bland at best, customer service is terrible, they will ignore you and have no manners. don?t go here.

Nina was very rude. As I was entering the bathroom before I ordered, she stops me and tells me no pooping. In the restroom. And after I peed I noticed it was no toilet paper. I asked her for toilet paper and she refused to give me toilet paper. I'm never experiencing anything like this before in my life.

I've never paid almost two dollars for a simple donut and not to mention very minimal yeast used... these donuts are not worth the price and I've been to quite a few shops...rethink those prices this isn't New York and definitely not their quality.

I often deliver this for an online food ordering service. People order donuts from here from very far away, they usually give me a free sample, and they really are some of the best donuts around. Staff are always friendly and polite.

My husband and I found this shop through Uber eats and tried it on a whim... good golly, I?m glad we did! Their crossiant sandwiches are to die for. The donuts are fresh and soft. This is now my go to donut shop!

They act like they don't understand you and give you more donuts to charge you more... Tried explaining to them three times.

Really enjoyed my experience:)

Service was curtious, fast, rolls fresh....but ! Most of the donut businesses I've visited give free ?? holes....not important, I arrived about 25 min after they opened.....worth a stop...

Super light and fluffy, just overall amazing donuts!!!! Great service as well. Better than Krispy Kreme and Dunkin? Donuts and cheaper!

The donuts here are sooooo delicious, i personally recommend the bacon egg and cheese croissants. This Has to be one of my favorite donut shops.
