BEST APPLE FRITTER IN ALL OF SACRAMENTO!! It needs to be shouted from the rooftops. I have tried a lot of local donut spots like Marie's (not enough apple) and New Roma Bakery (I like their savory breads and coffee cakes better than their donuts). This is truly the standout winner. I had an awesome apple fritter here. By far the best apple fritter I have ever had. Apple, cinnamon and fried just right. I'm from the E Coast so I might never make it back but it will be the apple fritter I compare all others against.

Super-clean inside with a charming, old-school doughnut shop vibe. Staff was super-friendly even as I struggled through some indecisiveness picking my dozen. The variety of doughnuts I ended up with were all fresh and dunk-worthy and they even had fresh Bavarian cream. This shop is worth the trip.

Been going here for a while now and feel like I can write an honest review. The customer service is very good and friendly. Atmosphere is just ok but a bit bland. Their menu board needs some serious updating. Some parts of it are almost unintelligible. The store front is often dirty and is a gathering point for the homeless. Now, the food. I love the service and donuts here. If you are looking for the trendy style of donuts then this isn?t your place. This is your traditional mom and pop donuts shop. The flavors were on point and prices were more than affordable. It?s unfortunate that the homelessness encapsulates the area around the facility and yes I would too with the amazing smells coming from the 16th Street Donut shop. Everyone loves donuts so I hook em up with a few on my way out.

Nothing beats local mom and pop places that make wonderful good ol? donuts! I?m a raised-donut type of person, the sugared and glazed ones are pillowy and perf.

They have great donuts, but the business hours don't match what it says on Yelp. It states that they're open until 4:00 on Sundays. And here it is 3:05 pm and they are completely closed for the day. I understand with covid they may not be able to stay open as late as they used to but it would be nice if they stated that somewhere.

Sacramento?s best kept donut shop secret, 16th Street Donuts delivers exceptional donuts at a very reasonable price. I am most always pass by later in the day, but on a recent visit, I found the quality and flavor is amazing. The chocolate and maple bars are hearty; made with precision, the raised donuts are filling yet still fluffy. The cake and old fashioned are made perfectly. Hoping to sample the Apple fritters next time I stop by. I?ve heard many good things about this place and I was not disappointed

Hands down the BEST donuts in Sacramento! They're big, fluffy, unique and classic all in one. Their prices are pretty low with 2 dozen assorted donuts (including jelly filled, bars and fritters), costing me less than $30! Everywhere else is greasy but not 16th! Never greasy! They are a huge hit at my work! Friendly, mellow staff as well. The best!

The donuts here are made fresh onsite in the early morning hours before they open. I recommend arriving as early as possible to get a donut that captures that has that unique taste of a recently made pastry. I've also grabbed donuts in the afternoon near their closing time and they have tasted great. Having a donut place that is locally run by friendly owners makes it a neighborhood gem.

This donut shop is small and sells out quickly. The only reason I dropped it a star is because they often are our of a particular item you might want due to high early morning sales. The donuts are delicious and the owner is a very kind man who even helps out the homeless at times when he can if if the days sales are slow. This business is definitely worth supporting!

There aren't enough stars available to give this place. The owner is probably one of the friendliest proprietors in town. He always greets you with a smile and a good morning. The donuts are delicious and varietal. He recognizes that he doesn't need a gimmick to sell donuts. He does it the "old fashioned" way, quality and service.

What a wonderful little shop. We went in while doing laundry next door, and the woman was so kind. The coffee and tea were great, and the donuts were DELICIOUS. I can't believe the prices- so good. I wish we lived nearby so we could stop in regularly!

I don't love donuts, but I love this place. They have invented the formula from the heavens with donuts that resemble a cakes intererior. Smooth, silky, but fried on the outside. I travel from Natomas to downtown for the experience.

Some of the best donuts I have had since moving to CA! Ever since we moved here from the mid-west, my husband and I have been searching for something like home but the shops out her just don't compare, until now. I love these doughnuts especially when they are fresh. I had a marked down day old apple fritter for .50 cents. Threw in the mic for 30 seconds and saw rhe grease on the paper towel. I didn't hesitate even a moment and inhaled the entire fritter. I felt sick, but i know that it is a sign that those are the best apple fritters in the world!!

BEST DONUTS in town by far, inexpensive and the place is clean. Homeless folks in or around this area, last time I checked THEY ARE HUMAN BEINGS, they are, we all are God's creatures. How hard would it be to buy 2 donuts, 1 for you and 1 for someone hungry, they would appreciate it, and donuts go very well with warm cans of beer stolen from 711.

The donuts are fine but not special by any means. They run out relatively quickly and don?t seem to make any fresh ones throughout the morning. The only reason I go back is because there aren?t many donut shops in midtown.

This shop has been on my itinerary for years; in fact, it's been around since the '80s and probably longer - maybe different owners. Anyhow, this is a great place to get your filled, glazed and things-on-top donuts. Prices are very reasonable, and the guys who run this place are very neighborly. There's plenty of parking within this tiny strip mall at the northeast corner of 16th & F Street, and if you're on a bike and looking for a place to hitch it, you're on your own. We're working on that.

The donuts are Good , I always get the old school apple fritters, and wife gets the maple bar with double custard. Coffee with half hot chocolate. Very enjoyable

I gave this donut shop 5 stars because the donuts were fresh and good. The owner was very accommodating when I ordered a soda , he included a cup of ice and a straw for the price of the soda($1.00).

The best service hands down. They greet you with a hello and send you on your way without robbing you. They are very reasonabke with there prices and the end product will always be fresh and delicious.

If you are in the area, get your doughnuts here, and yeah, I love New Roma, but you can't make one rich and the other poor. You might get the "Can you help me out with a dollar" but good parking and good doughnuts.

Apparently this place has gone to new owners recently. You can't count on there business hours. The new owner told me that if he's not busy for awhile he closed the shop.
